A lightning bolt found in the books of the Mandaeans is good news of the coming of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
We read together what is mentioned in the Holy Book of the Sabians who were mentioned in the Holy Quran.
(Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.)
[Surat Al-Baqarah 62]
The Mandaean religion is considered one of the oldest laws that God inspired from Adam until he came to them, peace be upon them.
These prophets (from Adam to John, peace be upon them) are classified among the Sabians.
I give you the strongest evidence ever brought by Yahya, peace be upon him.
In the Bible “The Greatness of the Prophet Yahya bin Zachariah (John the Baptist)”
Discover with me this text that dates back to before Islam... exactly at the time of Christ.
You can find the text in the fourth hadith of Yahya, peace be upon him, p. 67.
In Jerusalem: A time will come when the disciples of Yahya will be killed by the sons of Israel (Jacob), and after a while Muhammad the Arab will be born from the descendants of Ishmael, and he will call people to believe and prostrate to the Great Living One.
A very shocking proof for those who do not believe in the message of Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets. Every person must embrace Islam before his death.
“Muhammad al-Arabi is a descendant of Ismail.” I think it is very clear to you.

Let us see another text on the tongue of Adam, the father of humanity, peace be upon him.

About the pure messenger
(53) “I am the pure Messenger. My Lord has commanded me to go and call Adam and his wife Eve with a beautiful voice (54). Teach Adam so that his heart may be enlightened (55) and his people so that his mind and soul may be enlightened (56). Be a companion to him, you and the two angels who will descend with you into the world (57). Teach him and his wife and his offspring wisdom so that Satan will not lead them astray. (58) Teach them prayer, which they may perform, glorifying the Supreme King of Light three times during the day and twice at night.”
All the prophets and messengers before Islam performed the prayer as Muslims do today. They would purify themselves before prayer, bow down to God and prostrate themselves. However, none of them ordered their followers to pray 5 times a day.
3 prayers during the day and 2 at night
As we saw in the text, especially “teach them prayer, which they perform, glorifying the King of the Supreme Light, three times a day and twice a night.”
As stated in the Sharia of Muhammad, the Messenger of God, Muslims should pray 5 prayers a day.
1- Two prayers at night……… Maghrib prayer + Isha prayer 2- 3 prayers during the day….. Fajr prayer + Dhuhr prayer + Asr prayer
Overview of obligatory prayers
- Fajr prayer or morning prayer is : the first of the five obligatory prayers for every responsible person, according to the consensus of Muslims. It consists of two rak’ahs and its time is: from the beginning of dawn until sunrise . It is a prayer recited aloud .
- Dhuhr prayer is the second of the five obligatory prayers every day and night, according to the consensus of Muslims. It is a secret prayer consisting of four rak'ahs , and is performed throughout the week at noon except Friday, when it is replaced by Friday prayer for those who go to the mosque .
- Asr prayer is the third obligatory prayer of the day. It consists of four units of prayer performed silently, like the noon prayer. The time for Asr prayer begins when the shadow of an object becomes the same length as it is after noon , and it extends until sunset.
- Maghrib prayer is one of the five obligatory prayers in Islam , an individual obligation for responsible Muslims. It is the first obligatory prayer at night, and the fourth prayer of the day and night. It is an audible prayer consisting of three rak'ahs .
- Isha prayer is the fifth and final prayer of the day and is a loud prayer consisting of four rak'ahs. The time for Isha prayer begins with the disappearance of the red twilight and extends until the break of true dawn.
Evidence of the clear indication that the pure messenger is Muhammad, the Messenger of God

note
In order to ensure the honesty and impartiality of translating Mandaean texts into Arabic in this project, Dr. Youssef Matta Qawzi, one of the best professors of Aramaic and Eastern languages at Mosul College, Iraq, and a Christian, was chosen to translate the Mandaean holy book into Arabic. This Arabic translation is one of the best translations available today and the most important Arabic reference that can be relied upon to understand the texts and teachings of the Mandaean religion and to learn about the essence of their religion.
