Ahmadiyya about the truth of Isra and Mi'raj
The words of the Qadianis taken from their second caliph can be summed up in two points:
(1) Isra and Mi'raj are two separate events.
(2) The Isra and Mi'raj were not physical, but rather spiritual revelation.
These two points are a very old dispute on this issue. A small number of the predecessors and successors have said this, and in doing so they have contradicted the truth and the opinion of the majority. The Qadianis have adopted this opinion because they are passionate about turning every miracle in the Qur’an into a dream vision, including the story of Moses, peace be upon him, and Al-Khidr, and the story of Moses’ staff, etc. They have adopted this opinion only to defend the lack of any real verse in Mirza’s quiver to support his flimsy claims.
As for the first point , there is not much anomaly in it, but it is rejected because it contradicts the authentic hadiths that mentioned the Isra and Mi'raj as a single incident, including what was narrated by Al-Bukhari and others in his Sahih: “The Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, told them about the night he was taken on the Night Journey while I was in Al-Hatem, or perhaps he said in Al-Hijr, lying down, when someone came to me. He said, and I heard him say, ‘He split between this and this.’ So I said to Al-Jarud, who was next to me, what does he mean by that? He said, ‘From the opening of his throat to his hair.’ And I heard him say, ‘From his hair to his hair.’ He extracted my heart. Then I was brought a golden basin filled with faith, so he washed my heart, then it was stuffed, then it was returned. Then I was brought a beast smaller than a mule and larger than a donkey, white. Al-Jarud said to him, ‘It is Al-Buraq, O Abu Hamza.’ Anas said, ‘Yes, it places its step at its furthest end.’ So I was carried on it and it set off with me.” Gabriel, until he came to the lowest heaven, and asked for permission. It was said, “Who is this?” He said, “Gabriel.” It was said, “Who is with you?” He said, “Muhammad.” It was said, “Has he been sent to?” He said, “Yes.” It was said, “Welcome to him, what a good coming!” He came and opened it. When I reached it, there was Adam in it. He said, “This is your father Adam, so greet him.” So I greeted him and he returned the greeting. Then he said, “Welcome to the righteous son and righteous prophet.” Then he ascended with me until he came to the second heaven.
The second point is rejected because it contradicts the apparent meaning of the noble verses (Glory be to Him Who took His servant by night), for glorification is only for great matters, and there is nothing extraordinary in a vision. Then His statement (by His servant) is clear evidence of the night journey of the soul and body, because the servant is the combination of the soul and the body. Likewise, His statement (His sight did not swerve, nor did it go astray), is clear evidence of the night journey of the body, for sight is one of the tools of the body, not the soul.
The Qadianis tried to make the revelation a supernatural matter, so they said, “The revelation or vision... happens to the chosen person while he is in a state of complete wakefulness... he sees the thing and is aware of the events of the revelation... alone in seclusion away from people, or in front of people and they do not know what is happening with him, or in front of people and with them and they participate with.”
I said : I do not know what is the great difference between dreams and awake fantasies!? Does proving that the Isra and Mi'raj were awake fantasies justify the infidels' denial of this incident?! Adherence to such weak arguments is evidence that the people have no legal or rational evidence.
What is worse than that is their enumeration of the types of spiritual revelation as if Allah Almighty had informed them of its details, and their claim that the incident of Gabriel (peace be upon him) appearing as a human being and his question about faith, Islam, and goodness was a collective revelation that the Messenger (peace be upon him) and the companions saw together!! Likewise, their claim that the story of Moses (peace be upon him) with Al-Khidr is a temporal revelation that Moses (peace be upon him) saw, so Moses’ youth is Jesus (peace be upon him), and Al-Khidr is Muhammad (peace be upon him)!! I say: Such ridiculous interpretations are sufficient evidence of the esotericism of this Qadiani sect and its lack of affiliation with Islam.
What is noticeable in the interpretations of the Qadianis in general is their mixing of authentic, weak and fabricated hadiths and their use of whatever evidence they wish from them. They see no harm in presenting an apparent meaning in an authentic hadith just because it contradicts a fabricated hadith or athar. This indicates that the people do not care about knowing the truth, but rather about proving what their sick souls and unhealthy minds desire.
It is also noted that they are confused in their evidence and interpretations. For example, in their interpretation of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Isra’ verse, you find them combining three interpretations at once, which are :
(1) Al-Aqsa Mosque is the mosque of the Messenger (PBUH) in Medina, so they said, “Therefore, God called it...that is, Medina...the Al-Aqsa Mosque in terms of sanctity and blessing.”
(2) Al-Aqsa Mosque is Jerusalem. They said, “Al-Aqsa Mosque also refers to Jerusalem itself.”
(3) Al-Aqsa Mosque is the mosque of the boy in Qadian. They said, “This and the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) night journey to Al-Aqsa Mosque also indicates that when the power of Islam weakens, and the earth is covered with the darkness of abandonment of the Book of Allah, His religion and His law, and when the Muslims throw themselves under the control of the Crusader West... the blessings of the Chosen One (peace be upon him) will flow to a man from his nation... there in the furthest lands of Islam...” until they said, “And the glory and wisdom of Allah Almighty will appear in reviving and renewing Islam with the blessing of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in his second mission and at the hands of Imam Mahdi and the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him).”
In the third point,
the Qadianis tried to include the interpretation of their false servant regarding what is meant by Al-Aqsa Mosque in Surat Al-Isra, as the servant says in his book (Inspirational Sermon) the following:
I said : All this confusion only reflects the confusion of the minds of these people in their delusions, esotericism, and foolishness. I see no need to respond to such confusion, as presenting it to the people is sufficient to expose the perversion of its owners and their worship of their whims.
As for the first and second points at the beginning of my speech, I do not see the need to focus on them in responding to the Qadianis, because they are not characteristics of the Qadianis alone. Some people have said this before and after.
