Was the prophet of Islam really without miracles?

We often hear this question from orientalists, missionaries and enemies of the trustworthy Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. They say that the Prophet of Islam had no miracles and that he had no miracles worth mentioning. It is very strange that they cite the Qur’an and say that the Qur’an mentioned miracles for prophets and messengers before Muhammad but did not mention any miracle for him, although this is a corrupt argument that has no evidence, because the entire Qur’an came full of miracles and news that support the truthfulness of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in his call and that he is the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers and the one sent as a mercy to the worlds. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, had many great miracles that God performed at his hands to support him. Indeed, God Almighty performed many miracles at the hands of his companions that are similar to miracles that occurred with prophets and messengers. There was a miracle for the saint and a miracle for the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Therefore, I call upon my beloved ones to delve deeply into what I will mention now of miracles that God performed at the hands of His beloved, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. I mention first that The miracles of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, exceeded a thousand miracles. If we wanted to say that Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is the owner of a thousand miracles, then our statement would be correct, as the scholar and hadith scholar Abu Ishaq al-Huwaini, may God protect him, said. However, there are matters that I must clarify first before mentioning the miracles of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, knowing that there is not enough space to mention them all, but we will mention what God has made easy for us and we will diversify in mentioning them so that the benefit is widespread.

First, what does the word miracle mean?

A miracle is an extraordinary thing that God performs through His prophets and messengers to support them before the people. This custom may be performed by a saint or a follower of the prophets and messengers, so it is a blessing for the saint to demonstrate the virtue of his following this prophet and a miracle for the prophet. For example, the pebbles glorifying God in the hands of Abu Bakr, Omar and Othman, drinking poison and not being affected by it as happened with Khalid bin Al-Walid, seeing angels as happened with Asid bin Hudhair and Imran bin Husayn, and walking on water with a horse as happened with more than one of the companions of the Messenger of God and his followers, such as Abu Muslim Al-Khawlani, who was not tortured in the fire when he was thrown into it by the followers of Al-Aswad Al-Ansi, may God curse him. Omar would kiss him and say, “Praise be to God who made from the nation of Muhammad those who were not tortured in the fire like Abraham, peace be upon him.” Therefore, the righteous predecessors and divine scholars used to say, “By God, we do not say anything about a man until we see his doctrine, even if he walked on water or flew in the sky, because there are those who do some extraordinary things by the actions of jinn or devils, such as magicians.” And fortune-tellers and astrologers

Secondly, there is no prophet who performed a miracle except that it ended and came to an end with his death.

Like Jesus, peace be upon him, he used to revive the dead, heal the blind and the lepers, and tell them what they stored in their homes by God’s permission. This ended with his death. The miracle of the sea splitting for Moses, peace be upon him, and the spring of water from the rock ended with the death of Moses, peace be upon him, and the she-camel of Saleh, and other miracles that ended with the death of the prophets and messengers except for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The miracles continued to occur and were fulfilled even after his death, as he, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us before his death, as modern science has proven that whenever a person ascends to the sky, he feels tightness in his chest due to lack of oxygen. God Almighty said: We will make his chest tight and constricted as if he were ascending into the sky.

Thirdly, the miracles of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, were diverse.

It came from it in the Qur’an and it came from it in the authentic Sunnah and the authentic news and narrations were transmitted from it that there is no doubt about it, including its news of unseen matters.

It happened during his life and after his death, including the greeting of stones and trees to him, his speaking to animals and cattle, and many others.

Now let us move on to talk about the miracles that the Generous One usually performed through the hands of His beloved, His Chosen One, and the best of His creation, Muhammad ibn Abdullah. So lend me your hearing and heart. May God accept His obedience from us and from you.

1- The first miracle

It is the eternal miracle that will remain until the Day of Judgment because the Holy Quran is the word of Allah Almighty, whose recitation is an act of worship. Our Lord, the Almighty, revealed it to His beloved and chosen one. The trustworthy spirit Gabriel, peace and blessings be upon him, brought it down successively and in succession, in accordance with events and as a teacher, guide and supporter of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for twenty-three years, which is the duration of the Prophet’s mission, peace and blessings be upon him. The Holy Quran is miraculous in its letters, words, meanings, structures and news of the unseen that came as it was reported. It is miraculous in the legal rulings and rational issues that humans cannot bear to match, with the challenge that exists today, even until the Day of Judgment, for humans or the jinn to produce something like this Quran, or even if they gathered together on this matter, they would not be able to do so because it is the word of Allah. Allah the Almighty said: Say: If mankind and the jinn gathered together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants. Allah the Almighty said: Or do they say, “He has fabricated it?” Say: Then produce ten fabricated surahs like it. Allah the Almighty said: In doubt about what We have sent down upon Our servant, then produce a surah like it and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. But if you do not - and you will not - then look, my beloved in Allah, at this challenge. Allah, the Exalted, challenges mankind and the jinn and says, “Do it.” Then He says, “You will not do it.” Allah is Great. How many attempts have been made to produce a surah, or rather a verse, but they were unable to do so? The most famous of them is the attempt mentioned by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil in his book, “Why Did My Friend Convert to Islam?” He is a Christian. When he learned that Allah challenges mankind and the jinn to produce a single surah that is similar to the Quran, he was encouraged and said, “Now we prove Muhammad’s lie.” He addressed more than two thousand organizations, universities, and institutions in the world to produce a surah that is similar to the Quran. He continued on this matter for four years, but they did not answer him and they were not able to do so. He stood in front of more than eight thousand letters and said, “All of these letters and they did not answer me. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” This is the head of disbelief. He was an eloquent and articulate man, knowledgeable in the language and speech of the Arabs, Al-Walid bin When Al-Mughira heard the Qur’an, he said words that could be written in gold, even though he was an unbeliever. He said, “By God, it has a sweetness and a freshness to it, its top is fruitful and its bottom is abundant, it rises and nothing rises above it.” This is not the saying of a human being.

2- The second miracle that the Qur’an has proven in response to the fact that the Qur’an has not proven a miracle for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the splitting of the moon. God Almighty said in a surah called Surah Al-Qamar: “The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split.” And if they see a sign, they turn away and say, “Continuous magic.” Ahmad, Al-Bukhari, Muslim, and others narrated that the people of Mecca asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to show them a sign, so he showed them the moon in two. Mut’am bin Jubayr said: The moon split during the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and became two parts, one part on this mountain and one part on that mountain. They said, “Muhammad has bewitched us.” So the hearts that knew the truth and denied it would never believe, even if God performed a miracle for them every day. The Children of Israel came out of the sea and their feet were wet. Then the ignorant among them said when they saw a people worshipping an idol, “O Moses, make for us a god as they have gods.” Glory be to God! We have placed coverings over their hearts, lest they understand it, and deafness in their ears. And if you call them to guidance, they will never be guided. American space research has proven from the pictures it took of the moon that there is a rocky wall separating the middle of the moon, which confirms that it split one day. When they knew that the Qur’an says that, they concealed the matter and the case of Pharaoh’s drowning, which was the reason for the conversion to Islam of Maurice Bucaille, the French professor of anatomy and French oceanographer who acknowledged the prophethood of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he knew the interpretation of the Almighty’s saying, “He has released the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress.” He said, “This is not the word of Muhammad, but rather the word of God.”

3- The third miracle

Rain falling by his supplication. Is there a more truthful sign and miracle than this? Rain falling from the sky by the supplication of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace? Al-Bukhari and others narrated that the country was afflicted with a severe drought, so a man entered the Prophet’s mosque while the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was standing delivering a sermon. He said, “O Messenger of God, wealth has been lost and the roads have been cut off, so supplicate to God for us to help us.” The Messenger of God raised his hands and said, “O God, give us rain. O God, give us rain.” Anas said, “By God, there were no clouds, not a speck of rain, nor anything. There was no house or dwelling between us and Sal’a, a mountain on the edge of Madinah. A cloud rose from behind it like a shield. When it reached the middle, it spread and rained, and we did not see the sun for six days.” Then a man ran from that door the next Friday while the Messenger of God was standing delivering a sermon. The man faced him and said, “O Messenger of God, wealth has been lost and the roads have been cut off. Supplicate to God to withhold it.” The Messenger of God raised his hands and said, “O God, around us, not on us. O God, on the hills and mountains and the valleys and where trees grow.” Anas said, “It stopped and we went out walking.” In the sun, God is greater. What miracle is stronger than this? By his supplication, the rain fell, and by his supplication, it stopped except in the places he requested, until God stopped it. The rain fell by his supplication, which was repeated many times, and the Quraysh sought rain through him while he was a child. Abu Talib said, “And white, the clouds seek rain with his face, the support of orphans, the protection of widows.”

4- The fourth miracle

The spring of water from between his hands is a miracle stronger in the soul than the miracle of Moses. The spring of water from the depths of the earth is something that is known, the eye sees it and the soul is familiar with it. As for from between the fingers, this is an amazing thing and its power is only for God Almighty. Al-Bayhaqi narrated in “Dala’il Al-Nubuwwah” from the hadith of Anas bin Malik, the servant of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: “I saw the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and the time for the afternoon prayer had come and the people were looking for ablution but they did not find any water. So the Messenger of God put his hand in that vessel and ordered the people to perform ablution. I saw water springing from between his fingers, and the people performed ablution to the last one. Qatadah said to Anas, “How many were you?” He said, “About three hundred men.” This is a miracle that humans cannot bear, since water does not spring from between the fingers, but rather from stones, the depths of the earth, and the sky. However, it is a sign that indicates the truth of his prophethood, peace and blessings be upon him.

5- The fifth miracle

A cup of milk that is not enough for a child to satisfy a group of people. Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that he said: By God, I was leaning my liver on the ground due to severe hunger. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by me and knew what was wrong with me, so he called me. I entered his house and found a cup of milk that was not enough for a man. It was given to him as a gift. Abu Hurairah said: Call the people of the Suffah for him, and they are the poor who do not have anything and are constant in the Prophet’s mosque. So I called them and he said to me: Give them something to drink. I said: There will not be any milk left. So I gave it to each of them and they all drank. They were close to sixty companions. The milk overflowed and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: Drink, Abu Hurairah, drink. So I drank until I was satisfied and gave it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he drank from it and the milk remained as it was.

6- The sixth miracle

The flooding of the well of Al-Hudaibiyah after it had dried up. When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was at Al-Hudaibiyah concluding a peace treaty with the Quraysh, the companions drank from the well and there was nothing left in it. They were afraid of thirst, so they informed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He called for a cup of water, took a little of it and put it in his blessed mouth, then spat it into the well and said, “In the name of God.” The water overflowed from it until they all drank and watered the animals and carried a lot of water thanks to the blessing of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

7- The Seventh Miracle

The multiplication of food, and the miracles of multiplying food happened from the Messenger of God many times and the companions witnessed them, including what Abu Hurairah narrated that they were with the Messenger of God on a military expedition and the food ran out, so they asked the Messenger of God for permission to slaughter camels, so he gave them permission. Omar said, O Messenger of God, the camels carry them on the journey, why don’t you pray to God for us to bless what is left of the food? The Messenger of God approved of that and called for the food containers and put his hand in them and prayed to God, so they were filled with food, so they ate and were all satisfied, and the food overflowed.

8- The eighth miracle

Paying off Jabir’s debt, which consumed all his money, thanks to the supplication of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The story was narrated by Abu Na’im in Al-Hilya and Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Dala’il, on the authority of Jabir, who said: My father died and he owed a lot of money, and he took all of his money, and we had nothing left but a few palm trees. So I went to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and complained to him. He said: Come with me. He walked around the date threshing floors, that is, the place where the dates were collected, and he extended his hand to them and supplicated for me to be blessed. So the dates paid off my father’s debt, and a lot of them flowed to me and my brothers.

9- The ninth miracle

The trees obeyed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The trees that neither see nor speak recognize the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Muslim narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him: We were with the Messenger of God until we stopped in a fertile valley. The Messenger of God went to relieve himself, so I followed him to some water. He looked but did not find anything to cover himself with. There were two trees on the bank of the valley, so he walked towards them and took hold of some of the branches of one of them and said, “Come to me.” So it walked like a frightened camel that obeys its owner, shaking the ground with the Messenger of God until he came to the other one. He took hold of some of its branches and said, “Come to me,” so it walked like the other one. He said to them, “Come together with God’s permission.” So they did until he relieved himself, then each tree returned from where it came.

10- The tenth miracle

The trunk yearned for him. Ahmad, Al-Bukhari, and others narrated that the Messenger of God was delivering a sermon on a trunk in his mosque, and a woman stood from behind the curtain and said, “O Messenger of God, should I make you a pulpit?” He said, “Do so.” It was brought to the Prophet’s mosque the following Friday, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood on it. The trunk cried with longing and yearning for the separation from the Messenger of God, like a child crying. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came down and embraced it, and said, “By God, if I had not done this, it would have continued to cry until the Day of Resurrection.” The trunk is an inanimate object cut off. How can it cry with longing and yearning for the separation from the Messenger of God? Isn’t it a miracle that makes the body shudder?

11- The eleventh miracle

The pebbles in the hand of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Al-Bayhaqi narrated in “Dala’il Al-Nubuwwah” on the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, that I was a man who used to follow the private moments of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. One day, I followed him, and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman entered and sat down. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, held seven pebbles and they glorified God in his hand, and we heard them make a sound like the groaning of palm trees, meaning the trunk that wept for the separation from the Messenger of God. Then he placed them in the hand of Abu Bakr and they glorified God, then in the hand of Umar and they glorified God, then in the hand of Uthman and they glorified God. Then he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “This is the succession of the Prophet.”

12- The Twelfth Miracle

The camel prostrated to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The story was mentioned by Ahmad and al-Nasa’i with a good chain of transmission. It says that a family of the Ansar had a camel on which they used to bring water to their garden. It attacked them and blocked their way to the garden. It became like a rabid dog. They came to the Messenger of God and told him the story. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up with them, along with a group of his companions. They entered the garden. When the camel saw the Messenger of God, it quickly approached him and fell prostrating before him. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, held it, and it was as humiliated as it could be until he gave it to its owner. The companions were amazed and said, “O Messenger of God, this is an animal prostrating to you, and we are more deserving of prostrating to you than it is.” He said, “No. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone other than God, I would have commanded a woman to prostrate to her husband because of the great right he has over her.”

13- The Thirteenth Miracle

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, learned the language of animals and livestock. Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih that the Messenger of God was in one of the Ansar’s enclosures with his companions when a camel entered upon the Messenger of God as if he knew him. It dragged its feet and its eyes welled up with tears. The Messenger of God wiped away the camel’s tears and stood with it and said, “Who owns the camel?” A young man from the Ansar said, “I do, O Messenger of God.” He said, “Fear God regarding the camel, for it has complained to me that you starve it and make it work tirelessly .”

God Almighty said: “We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. Even the animals have received some of this mercy.”

14- The Fourteenth Miracle

Reverence of the beast for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad that the family of the Messenger of God had a beast, that is, a wild animal that was not domesticated. When the Messenger of God went out, it would play and run wild, coming and going. When it sensed that the Messenger of God had entered a resting place, it did not retreat for fear that it would harm the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. The beast respected it, and you, O worshippers of the cross, are arrogant towards it. By God, this matter will be a cause of regret and remorse for you on a day when no remorse will be of any use, a day when neither wealth nor children will be of any use, except for he who comes to God with a sound heart.

15- The fifteenth miracle

The speech of the gazelle and its loyalty to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Abu Naim, Al-Yahqi and others narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of God passed by a tent in which there were a group of people who had hunted a gazelle and tied it up. It said, “O Messenger of God, I have captured two young suckling deer, so ask permission for me to nurse them.” The Messenger of God said, “Who owns the gazelle?” A man said, “I do.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Let her suckle her young deer, then she will return.” So he set her free and she did, then she returned. The Messenger of God passed by them again while she was tied up after she had returned. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Where is the owner of the gazelle?” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “At your service, Messenger of God.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Will you sell her?” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “She is yours, O Messenger of God.” So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, set her free. This is one of the greatest signs of the prophethood of Muhammad.

16- The sixteenth miracle

Healing was done by the saliva of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, during the Battle of Khaybar when the conquest was difficult. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Tomorrow I will give the banner to a man who loves God and His Messenger and whom God and His Messenger love. God will grant victory through his hands.” When morning came, he said: “Where is Ali?” He was told that he was sick and complaining about his eyes. He said: “Bring him to me.” So he was brought to the Messenger of God, and he spat in his eyes, meaning he wiped them with his saliva. He was healed immediately and his eyes did not become sick until he died, may God be pleased with him, by virtue of the blessing of the saliva of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

17- The Seventeenth Miracle

The restoration of Qatada’s eye. In the Battle of Uhud, Qatada, may God be pleased with him, was injured in his eye until it fell on his cheek and hung down. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, restored it with his blessed hand, and it became the best of his eyes. This is a miracle similar to the miracle of the healing of the sick by Jesus, peace be upon him.

18- The Eighteenth Miracle

A stump of firewood turned into a sword in the hand of Ukasha bin Mohsen. In the Battle of Badr, Ukasha’s sword broke, so the Messenger of God gave him a stump of firewood and said, “Strike with it.” It turned into a white sword with a strong back. He fought with it and it remained with him until he was martyred in the Ridda Wars, may God be pleased with him. Isn’t this an eternal miracle of the miracles of prophethood ?

19- The nineteenth miracle

The truth of his news, may God bless him and grant him peace, about the unseen events that occurred during his life and after his death

- His news of the deaths of the infidels of Quraysh in the Battle of Badr: Abu Jahl, Utbah, Shaiba, and others. Their deaths did not miss the finger of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

His saying about Al-Hassan bin Ali: This son of mine is a master, and perhaps God will fix a matter between two groups of Muslims through him. This is great. And when Al-Hassan, may God be pleased with him, voluntarily and willingly abdicated the caliphate in favor of Muawiyah, may God be pleased with him, in order to spare the blood of Muslims.

- His news that the Rightly-Guided Caliphate after him was thirty years, and the period of the caliphate of Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman and Ali was twenty-nine years and six months, to which is added the caliphate of Al-Hasan bin Ali, may God be pleased with them both, six months before his abdication, so it would be thirty years, as the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, informed us. Therefore, Al-Hasan bin Ali is the fifth of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, not Omar bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him.

- His saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to someone who was shaken and trembling, “Stay steadfast, no one, for you have nothing but a prophet, a friend, and two martyrs.” The prophet is Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the friend is Abu Bakr, and the two martyrs are Umar, who was killed by Abu Lu’lu’ah Fayruz the Magian, may God curse him, and Uthman, who was killed by Al-Ghafiqi bin Harb and a group of revolutionaries, upon them from God is what they deserve.

- His news about the great strife that befell the nation between Ali and Muawiyah, may God be pleased with them. The Hour will not come until two groups are killed, their claim being one, that is, the truth. And it was.

- His news about the location of Abu Righal’s grave is evidence of Abraha, and the evidence for that is that he had a golden rod with him, so the companions searched and found it as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had said.

- His news that from the descendants of Abu Jahl there are those who will enter Paradise. He said: I saw a bunch of dates for Abu Jahl in Paradise. This was due to the conversion of the martyr and immigrant, Ikrimah Ibn Abi Jahl.

- He was told that he was killed by a blow to the head that made his beard wet with blood.

- He informed his companions about the conquest of the Levant, Egypt and Persia.

- He informed Suraqa bin Malik that he would wear the bracelets of Kisra. During the time of the Commander of the Faithful, Omar bin Al-Khattab, he brought Suraqa and made him wear the bracelets of Kisra, as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had commanded.

- Khabbab informed him that God Almighty would complete the matter until a rider would travel from Sana’a to Hadramaut fearing none but God and the wolf for his sheep.

- The news of Fatima, may God be pleased with her, that she was the first to join God after his death, and she had joined her father to the highest companion after six months.

- His news of the short caliphate of Abu Bakr and the long caliphate of Omar, may God be pleased with them both.

- His news of the killing of Uthman when he said to Abu Musa, “Open for him and give him the good news of Paradise despite the affliction that will befall him,” and he had been…

- He informed him of the conversion to Islam of Suhayl ibn Amr, and he said to Umar, “Leave him alone, perhaps he will take a stand in this religion for which you will praise him.” And when the Messenger of God died and the Arab tribes apostatized, Suhayl stood among the people of Mecca as a preacher, urging them to adhere to Islam and the guidance of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

- His news that the nation will be divided into three and seventy sects, all of which will be in Hell except one, which is the one that follows the path of the Messenger of God and his companions.

These are a few of the miracles of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. I ask God Almighty to gather us and you with him in the highest paradise.

the Qur’an acknowledged many miracles of the beloved Mustafa, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,

as Allah the Almighty said : {How can Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had testified that the Messenger was true and clear proofs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (86) Such - their recompense is that upon them is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of mankind, all together. (87) Abiding therein eternally. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be averted.} {They are given respite (88) except for those who repent after that and reform. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.} [Al Imran]

The Sheikh of the commentators, Abu Ja`far al-Tabari, said in his interpretation of the Almighty’s statement, “And clear proofs came to them,” meaning, the arguments came to them from Allah and the evidence for the truth of that. In al-Jalalain, it is the apparent arguments for the truthfulness of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. They are nothing but the miracles of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. And

Allah the Almighty said, {And there does not come to them a sign from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away from it.} [al-An`am: 4]

And Allah the Almighty said, {And if they see a sign {They turn away and say, “It is an ongoing magic.”} [Al-Qamar: 2]

In Al-Jalalain: {And if they see} meaning the infidels of Quraysh {a sign} a miracle of his, may God bless him and grant him peace, {they turn away and say} this {is an ongoing magic} strong from the word “mara”: strength or permanent.}

So whoever says that the Qur’an said that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, had no miracles, then he does not know anything about the Qur’an, for among the miracles of the Chosen One mentioned in the Qur’an is the

saying of God Almighty: {When you sought help from your Lord, and He answered you, “Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another.”}

And in Imam Muslim from the hadith of Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: While a Muslim man was chasing a polytheist in front of him that day, he heard the sound of a whip above him and the voice of a horseman saying, “Come on, Hayzum!” So he looked at the polytheist in front of him and fell down lying down. He looked at him and saw that his nose had been cut off and his face had been split like the blow of a whip, and it had all turned green. Then he came… Al-Ansari narrated that to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “You have spoken the truth. That is from the support of the third heaven.” So they killed seventy on that day and took seventy captive... The hadith [narrated by Muslim, Al-Bayhaqi, Ibn Al-Mundhir, Al-Bazzar, Abu Nu`aym in Al-Dala’il, and Ya`qub bin Shaibah]

and the Almighty’s saying: {Or do they say, “We are all victorious?” (44) The assembly will be routed and they will turn their backs. (45) Rather, the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more grievous.} And more bitter (46)} [Surat Al-Qamar]

The Surah is Meccan by consensus, and Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said about these verses: “It was revealed to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Mecca, while I was still a girl playing. {Rather, the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more grievous and more bitter.} [Narrated by Al-Bukhari], and according to Imam Al-Bukhari, from the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said while he was in his tent on the day of Badr, “I ask You by Your covenant and Your promise, O God, if You will, You will not be worshipped after this day.” Never. Abu Bakr took him by the hand and said, “Enough, O Messenger of Allah, for you have insisted upon your Lord.” He was in his armor. He went out saying , “
The host will surely be routed and will turn their backs. Rather, the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter.
