Satan's progression in the Bible from holiness to divinity
The progression of Satan in the Bible from holiness to divinity:
The great transformation in the nature of God in the pages of the Bible:Satan is an ugly creature, always depicted as a black creature, indicating material and moral darkness, with a foul odor, and provided with horns or hooves.
Christians believe that Satan was originally the chief of the angels, and his name was Lucifer, and because of his pride he was expelled from heaven to transform from an angel into a devil. However, this contradicts what we read in their Bible of veneration of Satan, which made Satan enjoy a rank close to God, and a deification that approached the rank of God himself, but rather surpassed it.
And ( Lucifer ) is a Latin word meaning "light bearer" or "light bringer" and is a Roman astronomical term referring to the "day planet", the bright planet Venus . It is also a direct translation of the Greek original meaning "bringer of dawn, or light, or light", and the Hebrew Hillel which means "shining" and carries the same mythological meaning of the thief of fire for mankind, Prometheus . (Wikipedia, paraphrased)
This means that Satan here has the attribute of a defender of man, who drives away darkness from him, with what darkness means of evil and fear, and it is a 100% positive attribute. This is while the Lord describes himself as the creator of darkness and light, that is, evil and good, that is, only part of him is positive, Satan only has the good side, despite the Lord expelling him from heaven: (7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil , I am the Lord who does all these things.) Isaiah 45:7
Lucifer was the chief of the angels, but arrogance and pride took hold of him and he was expelled from heaven, to transform and become Satan. He was called Lucifer because he was the most beautiful, intelligent and wisest of the angels, as the Lord describes him in the Book of Ezekiel. Then his name was changed to Iblis, meaning (deceiver, liar), and his name remained Iblis.
The Lord addresses Satan in the Book of Ezekiel as the prince of Tyre, saying: (1And the word of the Lord came to me: 2[Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord God: Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the heart of the seas, though you are a man and not God, even though you make your heart like the heart of gods. ..... 12..... Thus says the Lord God: You are a seal Perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering: the red sardius, the yellow ruby, the white sardius, the beryl, the onyx, the jasper, the blue sapphire, the emerald, the emerald, and gold. In you they fashioned the workmanship of stones and their settings in the day that you were created . 14 You are the anointed cherub who covers. . And I established you . You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked among the stones of fire . 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until iniquity was found in you . (Ezekiel 28:1-15)
In the interpretation of Father Tadros Yacoub, he says about this prophecy that it refers to Satan himself: ( Saint Jerome believes that the word “Tyre” means “trial [255]”, so what was mentioned regarding the prince or king of Tyre was intended to refer to Satan as the one who pushes people into trials and temptations. Many of the fathers believed that what was mentioned in this chapter describes Satan’s fall from his angelic rank. This description was identical to what was mentioned in (Isaiah 14:12) about Lucifer.)
As the text above explains, Lucifer was the most powerful spirit that God created. His name means morning star. He belonged to the “Cherubim” angels, and God chose him to carry out special responsibilities that took him into the presence of God.
Isaiah speaks about him, saying: (12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How are you cut down to the ground, who did weaken the nations? 13 And you said in your heart, I will ascend to the heavens; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of the assembly, in the sides of the north . 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High .) Isaiah 14:12-14
It was a plan Satan, then, is like God Most High, or even higher than Him, controlling and ruling the world and the heavenly kingdom. Did Satan succeed from the point of view of the Bible?
The Lord commanded His prophet Aaron to cast lots between two goats, one to be slaughtered for the Lord, and the other to be offered to Azazel. Imagine that the Lord, with all His power and majesty, was unable to choose between the two goats, and preferred to cast lots so that Satan would not be angry at the Lord’s distinction for Himself!! Imagine
the Lord’s awe of this Azazel, so that He would offer him a goat! Imagine
the power and dominance of Satan, so that the Lord would record in His book his courtship of Satan, or his payment of a tribute, or a declaration of His submission to him, or surrender to the position of this Satan in the Lord’s kingdom and life!
Read: Aaron offers a male goat to appease Satan at the command of the Lord: (5And from the congregation of the children of Israel he shall take two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. 6And Aaron shall present the bull of the sin offering which is his, and make atonement for himself and for his house. 7And he shall take the male goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tent of meeting. 8And Aaron shall cast upon the male goats Two lots: one lot for the Lord and one lot for Azazel . 9And Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for the Lord and offer it as a sin offering. 10But the goat on which the lot fell for Azazel shall be presented alive before the Lord to make atonement for it, to send it away to Azazel into the wilderness .) Leviticus 16:5-10
Who is this Azazel? (8: Azazel is a demon who resides in desolate places) as the margin of this paragraph says in the Arabic translation shared by all major Christian sects: Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant. After writing this meaning in the margin, he wanted to confuse the reader, so he said: (There is another opinion that says that the word Azazel is derived from the verb “azal” which also means “far away” in Arabic). But let us translate what he said last and put it in the text to see if these words will make sense!!
Of course, if this Azazel was not the devil, the great Satan, it would have been a disaster for the Lord to submit to a local devil. How would He have acted and submitted to the devil himself?
Let us return to the Catholic translation to see what it says: The margin of this paragraph says: (It seems that Azazel, according to the Syriac translation, is the name of a devil whom the ancient Hebrews believed inhabited the wilderness. The wilderness is a barren land where God does not practice His fertile work (see verses 22 and 17v7+).)
How is there a place in this universe where the Lord does not practice His work, and over which He has no control? Is this not an admission that the Lord of this book is an imperfect god, and that Satan competes with Him for rule and has taken the earth and the desert from Him?
Here are the places where the Bible acknowledges that Satan is the master of this world, the god of this age, and the prince of the power of the air. So refer to them! “ The god of this age ” (2 Corinthians 4:4), “ the prince of the power of the air ” (Ephesians 2:2), “ the prince of this world ” (John 12:31; 16:11),
(4 in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them. ) 2 Corinthians 4:4
(31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out .) John 12: 31; 14:3; 16:11
(11 But concerning judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.) John 16:11
(2 In which you once walked according to the ways of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience .) Ephesians 2:2
And do not be surprised that the Lord Himself defends idols and calls for sacrifice to them, as He did with Azazel. He chose many of His prophets with His eternal knowledge, knowing that they would forsake Him and worship idols and lead His worshipers astray. So what did the Lord do with some of them? Solomon was judged to be wise, and Amaziah was judged to have done what was right in his sight. Is righteousness in idolatry?
And finally, Satan got the better of the Lord, and captured Him and imprisoned Him in the desert for forty days: (1 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit through the wilderness , 2 forty days being tempted by the devil . And during those days He ate nothing. And when they were over, He was hungry. 3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 And Jesus answered and said to Him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” 5 Then the devil took him up on a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 Then the devil said to him, “All this authority I will give you and their glory, for it has been given to me, and I give it to whomever I want. 7 If you will worship me, you will have all the kingdoms you have .” everyone8Then Jesus answered him, “Get out of here, Satan! It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” 9 Then he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here. 10 For it is written, ‘He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you, 11 and in their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” 12 But Jesus answered, “It has been said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 And when the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a season . Luke 4:1-13
Here is the Scripture that says about Solomon that he worshipped idols, built altars for them, and called people to worship them: (4 And it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods ; and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father was . 5 So Solomon went after Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians . 6And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not wholly follow the Lord, as David his father had done. 7Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, on the mountain that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon . (1 Kings 11:4-7)
And here is Jesus (the Lord you have) judging him as wise, and that he is great, even though he died in his blasphemy, and the Lord forbade any of his descendants to sit on the throne of David: (42The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, one greater than Solomon is here !) Matthew 12:42
And behold, Amaziah worships the idols of the children of Seir: (14And after Amaziah had come from the smiting of the Edomites, he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and made them his gods, and bowed himself before them, and burned incense to them. ) 2 Chronicles 25:14
And here is the Lord praising him, and counting him among the people of good deeds and uprightness that please the Lord: (3 Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. 4 And he did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that Amaziah his father had done. ) 2 Chronicles 25:3-4
Is idolatry pleasing to the Lord?
Or was this Satan's control over the Lord, His book, and His scribes?
If so, then we know what religion you are calling for?
If not, why did He choose prophets whom He knew in His eternal knowledge would go astray and worship idols?
Why did He praise some of these prophets?
Why did He even demand that Aaron sacrifice two goats, one for Him and one for Azazel?
But why did the Lord demand that the sons of Aaron kill all those who worshipped idols? Didn’t the Bible say that Aaron was the one who made the calf for them and led them astray from worshipping God to worshipping idols?
(21And Moses said to Aaron, “What have these people done to you, that you have brought such a great sin upon them?” 22And Aaron said, “Let not the anger of my lord burn! You know that the people are wicked. 23And they said to me, ‘ Make us gods who will go before us, for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him. 24And I said to them, ‘Who has 25When Moses saw that the people were stripped naked ( for Aaron had stripped them naked to mock them among his enemies), 26Moses stood at the gate of the camp and said, “Whoever is on the Lord’s side, come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered to him. 27And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Put down all the “And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men fell of the people that day .” (Exodus 32:21-28)
If Aaron was the maker of the calf, who caused the deaths of 3,000 men of the children of Israel at his hands and his sons, how would the Lord reward them by giving them the priesthood forever? (11 “ Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away my wrath from the children of Israel, because he was jealous for me among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in my jealousy . 12 Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give him my covenant, a covenant of peace . 13 And it will be to him and to his descendants after him an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for God and made atonement for the children of Israel. ».) Numbers 25: 11-13
If this had happened, the Lord would not hold a person accountable except for his own sin, i.e. no soul shall bear the sin of another. The Lord would have held accountable the one who sinned, and the prophecy would have continued with Moses, the brother of Aaron the Levite!!
According to the writers of the Old Testament, the Lord was not a being who lived alone and moved only in his company, like the lord of the court or the mayor of the village, if we may say so: (1 God stands in the assembly of God; He makes judgment in the midst of the gods. ) Psalms 82:1
And this Satan was in the company of this God, if we may say so, and he was not the dominant and controlling one, or at least equal to this God. We saw this in the Lord’s command to Aaron to make Satan equal to Azazel in the sacrifices offered to the Lord, and to offer him a sacrifice without distinguishing the Lord, but rather to draw lots so that the devil would not be wronged or at least without him realizing it, and the Lord’s feelings would not be hurt.
The Lord held an advisory council to take revenge on his servant Ahab; because the Lord alone failed to find a solution to this temptation of Ahab. However, you are surprised, even shocked, to find Satan among those sitting and conversing in the company of the Lord without disturbing this Lord or any of his soldiers:
Read : The Lord of Lords agrees with Satan to take revenge on his prophet : (19And he said: [Hear therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right and on his left. 20And the Lord said: Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And he said this, and he said that . 21 Then the spirit went out, and stood before the LORD, and said, “I will entice him.” And the LORD asked him, “How?” 22 And he said, “I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.” But he said, “You will entice him, and you will prevail. Go out and do so .” 1 Kings 22:19-22
The Lord and Satan met with Zechariah, and Satan did not fear God Almighty or His might, and he condemned the priest Joshua: (1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him . 2 And the Lord said to Satan , [ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire? ]) Zechariah 3: 1-2
This is exactly what Father Yacoub Tadros said in his interpretation: (Satan stood at Joshua's right to resist him, but Joshua realized that the war was against God Himself, so he said, "The Lord rebuke you.")
Rather, you find him more than that challenging the Lord, or correcting his understanding or proving to him his knowledge of the secrets of the soul more than this God, who does not deserve this position in Satan's opinion, or if you like, betting him that Job will worship him and be loyal to him for the sake of God's honor and gifts to him. So did the Lord win the bet and Job be loyal to him? Or did Satan win and Job disbelieve, and thus the Lord gained from Satan's knowledge and corrected his opinion of his servant Job?
Read : The Lord of Lords Agrees with Satan to Seduce His Righteous Servant Job : (6 And it came to pass one day, when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them7Then the LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered, “From touring the earth and walking around in it.” 8Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and eschews evil.” 9Then Satan answered, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10Have you not made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock has increased in the land. 11But now stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face . 12Then the LORD said to Satan, “ Behold, all that he has is in your hand; only do not stretch out your hand against him .” Then Satan went out from before the presence of the Lord. Job 1:6-12
This challenge diminishes the power of the Lord and raises Satan above the Lord, since the process of illness and healing is not in the hands of Satan, but in the hands of God. So how did Satan cause Job to become ill? Or did the Lord give up this attribute, even temporarily, and grant it to Satan? Or did Satan take it away by virtue of his power that surpassed the power of the Lord mentally and materially, as he imprisoned him for forty days in the desert (Matthew 4:1-11)? Or did Satan possess these same divine attributes?
Is this a case of the Lord and Satan cooperating in goodness or in sin and aggression?
Did the Lord convince Satan to be on his side and adopt his constructive principles, or did Satan convince the Lord of his destructive principles, and thus they joined together to mislead the righteous servant and the perfect man?
( My son, if you are sick, do not be negligent, but pray to the Lord, and He will heal you .) Sirach 38:9
So was Job praying and the Lord did not heal him? Or did the writer of Sirach lie in what he said about the Lord? Or did the Lord lie in what the writer said? Or did the Lord go back on his promise?
( And you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from you .) Exodus 23:25
Did Job disbelieve, so the Lord left him in the hands of Satan, trying to lead him to disbelief to see who would win the bet? Or was he among the believers, and the Lord lied in His promise to remove his sickness until Satan triumphed and achieved his goal?
Or was the Lord paving the way for people to know their true, most knowledgeable and most powerful God, that is, Satan, to pave him to rule the world?
Didn’t the Bible later say that Satan held Jesus captive in the desert for forty days to tempt him (Matthew 4:1-11)?
Didn’t the Lord Himself acknowledge that Satan is “ the god of this world ” (2 Corinthians 4:4), “the ruler of this world ” (John 12:31; 16:11), and “ the prince of the power of the air ” (Ephesians 2:2)?
(11Keep therefore the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today to do them. 12“And because you listen to these judgments, and keep them, and do them, the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the love that he swore to your fathers. 13And he will love you and bless you and multiply you, and he will bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground, your grain, your wine, your oil, and the increase of your crops. Your herds and the females of your flock, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you. 14 Blessed you will be above all peoples; there will not be any barren or childless among you or among your livestock. 15 The LORD will turn away all disease from you, and none of the sore diseases of Egypt that you knew will he put on you, but will put them on all who hate you. (Deuteronomy 7:11-15)
How did the LORD agree to this challenge? Doesn’t this diminish the Lord’s pride and self-confidence before His servants?
Doesn’t it contradict the Lord’s description of Himself as being aware of the deeds and hearts of His servants?
(O LORD Almighty, who tests the righteous, and knows the secrets of people) Jeremiah 20:12
(For you know his heart, for you alone know the inner thoughts of men) 2 Chronicles 6:30
(Therefore he knows their deeds ) Job 34/25
(But the LORD knows the motives of the spirits ) Proverbs 16:2
(But the LORD knows (The motives of the hearts.) Proverbs 21:2
(But I know your movements and your stillness, and your rage against me.) Isaiah 37:27
So what made him trust in Satan’s words, and deny his knowledge and one of his attributes, or at least give the possibility of Satan’s truthfulness in exchange for showing an error he himself fell into, and denying his divinity and attributing it to Satan?
What made him enter into a dialogue with Satan regarding the work of the Lord, His divinity, and His appreciation of people and their faith?
What made God enter into a dialogue with Satan to modify His knowledge and understanding of people, and His appreciation of them?
Didn’t the Lord put the possibility of Satan’s lying and that he only wanted to mislead the believing servant of the Lord? So how could the Lord obey him and fall into the trap that Satan set for him?
Didn’t the Lord say that He defends His believing servants, and does not leave them prey to any of their enemies?
So where is His defense of Job? Or did the Lord judge his servant and prophet Job that he was not among the believers?
Or did the Lord conspire with Satan against Job to make him reach the level of despair and hopelessness of his mercy, violating his teachings and principles in ruling the world?
Didn’t the Lord himself say that diseases and healing are in his hands?
(And you shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you .) Exodus 23:25
( And the Lord will turn away from you every disease, And none of the evil diseases of Egypt that you have known will he put on you, but he will put them on all who hate you. Deuteronomy 7:15
( And every disease and every plague, which is not written in this book of the law, the LORD will bring upon you until you are destroyed .) Deuteronomy 28:61
(And the latter generation, your children who rise up after you, and the stranger who comes from a far country, will say, when they see the plagues of that land and its diseases with which the LORD makes it sick .) Deuteronomy 29:22 So has the LORD afflicted it
? His servant Job was afflicted with diseases, and the writer was led astray and thought he was Satan himself?
Is this writer who confuses between the Lord and Satan a faithful writer whose transmission of the Lord’s revelation to him we can rely on?
Or was this book the book of Satan who lowered himself to the rank of the Lord, as he himself had previously threatened the Lord: (13And you said in your heart, “ I will ascend to the heavens; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of the congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north . 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High .”) Isaiah 14:13-14
Is not Satan himself the one who says that the Lord sits in the assembly of gods, considering himself one of these gods that rule the world? (1 God stands in the assembly of God; He judges in the midst of the gods. ) Psalm 82:1
Is it not He who says of Himself that He is the eternal God (2 Cor. 4:4) , the Lord of this world (John 12:31; 16:11), and “ the prince of the power of the air ” (Ephesians 2:2)?
How can the Lord be true in His words that He will deliver His faithful servants?
( Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commandments are my delight .) Psalms 119:143
( For the Lord is gracious and merciful; He forgives sins and saves in the day of trouble .) Sirach 2:13 [Catholic translation]
( Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. ) Psalms 34:19
( Because he has set his trust in me, I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I am with him in trouble, I will deliver him and glorify him; I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation . Psalms 91:14-16
(Blessed is he who has regard for the poor. The LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive. He will be joyful on earth, and will not give him over to the desires of his enemies. The LORD will uphold him on the bed of weakness. You have made his bed in his sickness. ) Psalms 41:1-3
So why did he not keep The Lord saved Job, His faithful servant, from Satan and his actions. Why did He deliver him to the will of his enemies? Why did He not support him?
Did the Lord forget that Job was one of His faithful servants?
And do not be surprised that he forgets, for these are the sayings of his faithful servants about him that the faithful writer recorded:
(1 How long, O Lord, will you forget me completely ?) Psalms 13:1
(9 I will say to God, my rock, Why have you forgotten me? Why should I go away grieving because of the oppression of the enemy?) Psalms 42:9
(24 Why do you hide your face and forget our affliction and our distress ?) Psalms 44:24
(24 Then God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham and Isaac And Jacob .) Exodus 2:24
And perhaps the Lord did not remember and forgot his servant during his sleep or his nightly drunkenness, and this is of course as the pagan writer imagined who wrote these words inspired by Satan, whom the book never mentioned sleeping or drunk as it was said about the Lord of Lords:
(65 Then the Lord awoke as one who sleeps, as a mighty man crying out with wine ) Psalms 78:65
And this is the text of the agreement between the Lord and Satan on sin and aggression against the believing servant of God, Job, and if you like, say: This is what the pagan writer imagined who wrote this story:
(1 And it came to pass one day, that the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself Before the Lord. 2 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered, “From touring the earth and walking around in it.” 3 Then the Lord said to Satan , “ Have you considered My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and eschews evil. And until now he holds fast to his integrity, and you have stirred me up against him to swallow him without cause . 4 Then Satan answered and said, “Skin for skin, and all that a man has he will give for his life. 5 But now stretch out your hand and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will blaspheme you to your face .” 6 Then the Lord said to Satan , “ Behold, he is in your hand; but take care of his life .” 7 Then Satan came out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head . 8 So he took a potsherd to scrape himself with it as he sat in the ashes. 9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Blaspheme God and die!” 10 “You speak like one of the fools,” he said. Shall we accept good from God, and shall we not accept evil?] In all this Job did not sin with his lips.) Job 2:1-10
And yes, women! A prophet's wife orders him to blaspheme God and die for his disbelief! Isn't this Satan's greatest wish, to have all people with him in Hell? Do you think that the writer of this story is different from Satan himself? By God! What else would Satan have written to convince the naive that the result of illness or trials is despair, hopelessness, and blasphemy against God, i.e. disbelief in Him?
Read the extent of Job's despair of God's mercy! And think, would a believer despair of God's mercy? And is this evidence of Satan's victory over God as usual?
(1 After this Job cursed his day, 2 and began to speak, saying, 3 “ Oh that the day would perish in which I was born, and the night in which it said, ‘A man has been conceived !’ 4 Let that day be darkness ; let not God from above regard it, and let not the day shine upon it. 5 Let darkness and the shadow of death rule it; let a cloud come upon it; let the eclipses terrify it. day . 6 But let darkness seize that night, And let it not rejoice among the days of the year, And let it not enter into the number of the months. 7 Behold, let that night be barren; Let no shout be heard in it . 8 Cursed be he that curseth the day, Who are ready to wake the dragon . 9 Let his twilight stars be darkened; Let him wait for the light, but it be not, And let him not see the fringes of the morning. 10 For he hath not He shuts the doors of my mother's womb, and has not hidden misery from my eyes . 11 Why did I not die from the womb? When I came out of the womb, why did I not give up the ghost? 12 Why did the knees help me, and the breasts, that I should be nursed? 13 For now I was lying still. Then I slept at ease, 14 with kings and counselors of the earth, who built themselves pyramids, 15 with princes who had gold and filled their houses with silver, 16 or like hidden unfinished goods, and I was not like fetuses who have never seen the light. 17 There the wicked cease their turmoil, and there the weary rest. 18 The prisoners are at peace together. They do not hear the voice of the taskmaster. 19The small and the great are there, and the servant is free from his master. 20Why is light given to the wretched, and life to the bitter in soul? 21Who look for death, when it is not, and dig for it more than for treasures , 22who are glad until they rejoice, who are glad when they find a grave. 23For the man whose way is hidden, and God has made a hedge around him. 24For my groaning comes like my bread, and my groaning is poured out like waters. 25For I was terrified, and it came to me, and that which I feared came upon me. 26I was not at ease, nor was I at rest, nor did I rest, for wrath has come.] Job 3:1-26
And here he blasphemes the Lord, and declares Satan’s victory over his God: (18Behold, he puts no trust in his servants, and charges his angels with folly .) Job 4:18

(For Job said, “ I am justified, and God has taken away my right. ”) Job 34:5
What is more amazing is that the Lord proudly and proudly records His defeat before Satan and His happiness with the disbelief of His perfect, faithful servant and righteous prophet, and His return to what he was after several years of psychological pain, disbelief and transgression against God, and causing people to lose confidence in the Lord, and people following the example of this disbelieving prophet! Not to mention wasting Job's time, God's time, and Satan's time, as God changed everything Satan had left to do, and wasting the reader's time with a story that disgusts him!
After Job's description of God as the one who misleads His believing servants, the oppressor who does justice to every injustice, and persecutes His believing servants, the fool who considers His enemies to be the believers, and His believing servants to be His enemies, and He protects them, strengthens them, expands for them, and extends; I repeat: after Job's description of God with all these shameful attributes, is he considered one of God's believing servants, let alone one of His close prophets?
(7And it came to pass, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and against both your friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has . 8Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer a burnt offering for yourselves and for my servant. Job prays for you, for I will accept his face, lest I deal with you according to your folly , because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has .) Job 42:7-8
In fact, the following sentence caught my attention: (3 Then the Lord said to Satan , “ Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and eschews evil. And until now he is He clings to his perfection, and you have stirred me up against him to swallow him up without cause .]) Job 2:3
So the Lord commanded Satan and charged him with misleading the most faithful of his faithful servants, and the most perfect and powerful of them, and the Lord admits that Satan stirred him up against him without cause!! So what is this weak-willed, airy god that Satan is toying with? Don’t you agree with me that this is the whim and delusion of the writer of this novel?
The Lord says in the Book of Tobit: ( But the Lord allowed this trial to befall him, that he might be an example of his patience to those who come after him, like the righteous Job ) Tobit 2:12
and also: ( And the Lord blessed the latter part of Job more than the beginning ) Job 42:12
and ( And these three men were in it, Noah, Daniel, and Job, for they save themselves by their righteousness, says the Lord God.) Ezekiel 14:14 and also Ezekiel 14:20
But how did the righteous Lord understand all these words spoken in the Book of Job as written by the very faithful writer? (Job 42:7-8)
(1 My soul hates my life; I let my complaint pass; I speak in the bitterness of my soul , 2 saying to God, ‘Do not condemn me; make me understand why you contend with me. 3 Is it better for you to do wrong, to despise the work of your hands, and to shine on the counsel of the wicked? .... 6 so that Do you search for my iniquity and seek out my sin ? 7 Knowing that I am not guilty, and that there is none to deliver me out of your hand. .... 14 If I sin, you mark me, but will not acquit me from my iniquity . 15 If I sin, woe is me !
Did Job succeed in teaching us patience? Rather, did Job himself have patience as the Lord understood and said? No. He disbelieved, cursed the Lord and accused Him of injustice: ( God does not take notice of injustice .) Job 24:12
Rather, he said it explicitly that the Lord was the main motive for him to commit injustice: (11 God has delivered me to the oppressor, And into the hands of the wicked he has cast me . 12 I was at ease, and he shook me; He took me by the scruff of the neck and crushed me, And set me up as a target for Himself .) Job 16:11-12
Doesn't he accuse Him of not noticing what His servants do? Doesn't this mean that he is a god who does not deserve to be deified, that he is a sleeping god or a god who is unaware of the conditions of his servants? Doesn't this strip him of necessary attributes of God, and does it not consider him to be new in divinity?
And he accused him of violating his right: (For Job said, I am justified, and God has taken away my right ) Job 34:5
And he accused the Lord of not trusting his servants, and of course he trusted Satan with his opinion and raged against his servant without reason, and even attributed foolishness to his angels: (18 Behold, he does not trust his servants, and attributes foolishness to his angels ) Job 4:18
And he accused him of persecuting and defaming him: (20 I cry to you, but you do not answer me. I rise, but you do not pay attention to me . 21 You have turned harsh toward me . By the strength of your hand you persecute me . 22 The wind has lifted me up, and has made me ride on it, and has melted me with disfigurement .) Job 30:20-22
Didn’t he address the Lord, reproaching Him, denying Him, that He is unjust and that His works shine on the wicked? (3 Is it better for you to do injustice, to despise the work of your hands, and to shine on the counsel of the wicked? )? Job 10:3
Who is more unjust than he who denies the favor of God Almighty to people! Who is more ungrateful than he who attributes to the Lord what He is innocent of! Who is more of a liar than he who accuses the Lord of being unjust and slandering His believing servants! (19 He carries away the priests as captives, and overthrows the mighty . 20 He cuts off the speech of the faithful, and takes away the taste of the elders . 21 He brings contempt upon the nobles, and looses the belt of the mighty . 22 He uncovers the depths out of darkness, and brings the shadow of death into the light . 23 He multiplies the nations, and then destroys them ; He enlarges the nations, and then scatters them . 24 He takes away the understanding of the wise . The princes of the people of the land, and he leads them astray in a wilderness without a way . 25 They grope in darkness, but there is no light ; he makes them stagger like a drunkard. (Job 12:19-24)
He also accused the Lord of being the one who crooked him, and that he wronged him in doing so, and he does not respond to him to remove this injustice, but rather he destroyed and ruined it, and he considered it ignorance from his enemies: (6 Know then that God has crooked me, and has wrapped his net around me. 7 Behold, I cry out in oppression, but I am not answered; I call, but there is no justice. 8He has encircled my way, so that I cannot pass through; He has set darkness on my paths . 9 He has taken away my honor from me, and taken away the crown of my head . 10 He has destroyed me on every side, so I am gone, and he has uprooted my hope like a tree . 11 He has kindled his anger against me, and he counts me as one of his enemies .) Job 19:6-11
This is the Lord’s confession that he humiliated Job, the upright man and the perfect man of God, who feared God and shunned evil, and oppressed him, made him sick, and took away his right for no reason, except Satan’s incitement against him: (3 Then the Lord said to Satan , “ Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man.” He fears God and shuns evil. Yet until now he holds fast to his integrity, and you have stirred me up against him to swallow him up without cause .] Job 2:3
Did not Satan triumph over his God? Did not Job blaspheme his God and despair of His mercy? Did not Job accuse the Lord of being unjust, of persecuting him and of acting unjustly and aggressively against him?
Doesn’t this story show that Satan has deeper knowledge, more comprehensive understanding, and more complete vision than the Lord?
Doesn’t this story indicate that Satan is more deserving of deification than his God?
Doesn’t this story indicate that its writer did not get rid of the idolatry that filled the children of Israel, and caused them and their prophets to deviate from the worship of God and replace their God with idols?
Doesn’t this story indicate that Job is from the devil because he did what he did? ( Whoever commits sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil . ) 1 John 3:25
And if Jesus’ saying that whoever is angry with his brother is subject to judgment, and whoever says to him, “You fool,” is subject to hell fire is true: ( Everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, “Raca,” shall be subject to the council. And whoever says, You fool, he shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22
So what about the one who is angry with the Lord Himself and transgresses against Him?
( Malice and anger are both abominations, and a sinful man clings to them) Sirach 27:33 (
For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God) James 1:20 So
how did Job’s anger produce the righteousness of the Lord in him? Was it because the Lord knew that this was his mistake from the beginning, so He atoned for it by forgiving Job and considering him among the righteous?
Doesn’t this story indicate the foolishness of the Lord whom Satan incited against His faithful servant, so he let him mislead him until he reached the point of disbelief?
Doesn’t this story indicate that the Lord has no sportsmanship and is a liar who did not admit his defeat before the devil, but rather changed the face of the truth and claimed that Job was a believer?
Is it possible to follow the example of the Lord in this action of Job and to have Satan warm him up in daily life? What if a boss at work followed the example of someone who warmed him up against a colleague? Wouldn’t that doom him to failure?
In fact, the position of the unbelieving writer may be clearer than his writing of the same event twice, in which he confuses God and Satan. I mean the census of the children of Israel. Once he attributed the command to David to number the children of Israel to the Lord Himself, and once he attributed it to Satan:
(1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and tempted David to number Israel .) 1 Chronicles 21:1
(1 And the anger of the Lord was kindled again against Israel, and he stirred up David against them, saying, Go, number Israel and Judah .) 2 Samuel 24:1
So did the writer not make a difference in the name he gave to the Lord, since the essence was the same? That is, did the very faithful writer consider the Lord to be Satan, and merely changed the names, since they referred to the same named?
Was it that simple that David responded to Satan’s command and carried out this command? Does Satan inspire or command the prophet and he responds?
If the census of the children of Israel was evil, why did the Lord not protect his prophet from falling into it? Is it the Lord’s habit that he is unable to save his faithful servants from the clutches of Satan? And if it was good, how does Satan command good? Did he change his nature and become a commander of good and a forbidder of evil?
Did the Lord and Satan agree on righteousness and piety? Or did the Lord and Satan agree on sin and aggression again? Did they lower the Lord to the level of Satan, or did they raise Satan to the level of the Lord? Or are the two sides of the same coin? If so, then what is the role of Satan in the Trinity? Or was he the inventor of the Trinity, to ensure that he would be worshipped instead of God? Whoever does not worship the One and Only God, worships Satan!
Or did the Lord command Satan to inform David of this act, and David did not object by doing this act; knowing that this matter came from the same lamp, and there is no difference between saying the Lord or Satan, as both are names for the same person?
Or did David follow what was due, and sanctify Satan and his commands, because Satan is one of the sanctified ones who occupy their place of constant companionship with the Lord everywhere? He is always in the Lord’s company and company, and he is the one who ordered the Lord’s prophet Aaron to present him with a goat, casting lots so that the Lord would not win a goat that might please the devil, or to avoid the Lord’s complaint of Satan, or as a wish from the Lord that Satan would win the best, which he deserves? And so David obeyed Satan.
Or perhaps David knew of Satan’s power, which exceeded the Lord’s power, or he knew that Satan’s position in ruling and commanding is higher than the Lord’s, so he preferred safety and remained with the stronger side?
And with the passage of time, Satan’s image became more positive, and his negative image gradually disappeared, and this only happens in a pagan, infidel society.
However, in the end he left the Lord’s company and his company, and this does not mean that his status has fallen or diminished, but on the contrary, his status in what they call the New Testament has increased, and has reached the rank of the god of this age, the master of the world, and the prince of the power of the air, and the Lord did not become incarnate and descend except to save the world from the grip of Satan and inherited sin. Did the New Testament want to hide the image of Satan, who was subordinate to the Lord and his companion, so that Satan could enjoy being the ruling god alone in divinity, and remove the Lord himself from the company of Satan?
Perhaps this is true! Otherwise, why did the company of the Lord and his group, under which Satan was included in the Old Testament, disappear, and Satan became the god of this world and its master?
(1God stands in the congregation of God; He judges in the midst of the gods. ) Psalm 82:1
In order for people to forget the imperfect image of Satan as one of the Lord’s companions in His heavenly assembly, and to remember only that he is the god of this age and the master of this world, Satan suggested that he was captured by one of the Lord’s angels, not by the Lord Himself. He still insists on showing the Lord’s weakness and inability to do anything to him, and he made people believe that there is no longer Satan or the devil, that he has been bound for a thousand years, and that the god of this present age is the good god, the devil in his new guise.
(9 And the great dragon was cast out, that ancient serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him .) Revelation 12:9
(2 And he laid hold of the dragon, that ancient serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years .) Revelation 20:2
Therefore the New Testament insists on calling Satan the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4) and the ruler of this world (John 12:31; 16:11), and “ the prince of the power of the air ” (Eph. 2:2). The Gospels insist that Satan is stronger and more effective than God.
Didn’t Satan capture his god and imprison him in the desert for forty days despite being filled with the Holy Spirit?
(1 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit through the wilderness , 2 forty days being tempted by the devil . And during those days he ate nothing. And when they were ended, he was hungry. 3 And the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘It is not bread that shall be made.’” Man does not live by himself, but by every word of God.” 5 Then the devil took him up on a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 Then the devil said to him, “All this authority and their glory I will give you, for it has been given to me, and I give it to whomever I want. 7 If you will worship me, all will be yours .” 8 Jesus answered and said to him, “Get out, Satan! It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” 9 Then he brought him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple . “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here,” he said. “For it is written, ‘He will give his angels charge over you to guard you,’ 11and they will bear you up in their hands so that you will not be harmed.” Strike your foot against a stone.” 12 Jesus answered, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 When the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a season . Luke 4:1-13
Reread the last sentence: The devil did not leave him completely, but left him for a season.
When did the angels come to serve the Lord after Satan left Him? This means that the Lord and His angels were unable to defeat Satan, and were forced to remain without any reaction, until Satan allowed them to separate him from the Lord!!
( Then the devil left him , and behold, angels came and ministered to him ) Matthew 4:5
All this happened to Jesus despite His words that fight Satan and encourage people to resist him! Is this logical? Is it logical that ordinary people defeat Satan at the same time that Satan defeated his God?
( You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own source, for he is a liar and the father of it .) John 8:14
( Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you . ) James 4:23
( Wake up! And be alert. For your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour . 1 Peter 5:24
( Whoever commits sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil . 1 John 3:25
( In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil : everyone who does not practice righteousness ( Then the angel Raphael seized Satan and bound him in the wilderness of upper Egypt.) Tobit 8:3 Where was this angel when the Lord was arrested and tortured in the hot, desolate wilderness? And why was he imprisoned in Upper Egypt? Is the writer of these words from the Delta who hates
Upper Egypt and its people ? Did the writer of these words want to insult the people of Upper Egypt? Or did he want to humiliate Satan and imprison him among the mighty warriors of Upper Egypt? Or did he want to prove that the angel of the Lord is stronger than the Lord Himself, and that the Lord without His angels is nothing, and that He was able to defeat Satan who captured the Lord, and could not escape from him? Why does the New Testament insist on proving that Satan is the effective controlling force in life, to the point that he captured Jesus the God among them for forty days, during which he carried out his complete will, absolute authority, and effective power in the Lord and in testing Him, despite the lie of the Lord’s claim that He cannot be tempted? ( For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone .) James 1:13
Did Ibis deny Jesus' divinity by tempting him? Or did the deification of Jesus and his trinity gradually develop later, and none of Jesus' disciples or faithful followers deified him?
There is no evidence that the one who returned from captivity was Jesus himself. Satan may have gotten rid of Jesus and slaughtered him while he was under his authority, fed him to wild beasts, and incarnated himself in his form, and returned to command you to worship him and bow down to him; although this is not mentioned in the Bible, but these are the commands of your fathers.
It is within Satan's ability to incarnate in the form of a luminous angel to mislead whoever sees him: ( And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light !) 2 Corinthians 11:14
Then came the vision attributed to John, in which he saw that Satan was gotten rid of, not by killing, but by imprisonment for a thousand years! This was his hope that the earth would remain free of evils, wars, or demons for a thousand years, and this dream did not come true! And he did not tell us what the devil would do in the second millennium and beyond! John's holy dream has ended!
(9 And the great dragon was cast out, that ancient serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him .) Revelation 12:9
(2 And he laid hold of the dragon, that ancient serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years .) Revelation 20:2
(7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be loosed. From his prison ,) Revelation 20:7
The meaning of this vision or the buried wish inside John to whom this vision is attributed is that neither Jesus nor the Lord nor any of his soldiers defeated Satan, which interacted within John and came out in the form of a dream, i.e. a wish!
The strange thing is that the defeat was temporary, as none of them did anything to Satan except that he was only chained for a thousand years. Why did the Lord not deliver us from him once and for all, and declare his eternal victory over him, and take revenge for what he did to him, throughout his companionship with him? And what happened after the first millennium ended? Did Satan return to his seat in rule and leadership of the world again?
Or did the Lord fail to rule the world in the first millennium because he was not just, but rather was unjust to his believing servants, so he relinquished rule to Satan and ordered his release?
Was the Lord able to rule the world without resorting to Satan, as happened when he tempted Ahab? Or did the Lord learn wisdom from Satan and follow his path?
How can we trust in the judgment of the Lord alone, who could not bear the cooperation of people in righteousness and piety, so He came down from His heights and confused their languages and divided them, which is the doctrine of “divide and conquer,” which the wicked adopt to eliminate all righteousness and piety: (1 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech . 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them whole.” So they had bricks instead of stones, and there was a They have reds instead of clay. 4And they said,Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top reaching to the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over the face of the whole earth .” 5 Then the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the sons of men had built . 6 And the Lord said, “Behold, the people are one, and they all have one language; and this is the beginning of what they will do. Now nothing they intend to do will be impossible for them . 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand one another’s speech .” 8 So the Lord scattered them from there over the face of the whole earth, and they left off building the city . 9 Therefore its name was called Babylon, because the Lord there confused the language of the whole earth . And from there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth .) Genesis 11:1-9
And remember the Lord’s saying in the plural form that they will go down and confuse the tongues of the people!
What is even stranger is that the devil, to whom evil deeds are supposed to be attributed, we find them attributed to the Lord, like the previous and following example:
Read: The Lord commands Moses to command the children of Israel to steal the gold of the Egyptians when they leave Egypt : (21 And I will give favor to this people in the sight of the Egyptians . And it shall come to pass, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed . 22 But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who sojourns in her house, articles of silver, and articles of gold, and clothing, and you shall put them on your children . And your daughters. And you shall plunder the Egyptians . ) Exodus 3:21-22
(35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses. They asked of the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing . 36 And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent them . And they plundered the Egyptians .) Exodus 12:35-36
Read: The Lord deliberately gives unfit statutes: (25 And I also gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances by which they could not live . (Ezekiel 20:25
) For the LORD commanded to nullify the good counsel of Ahithophel, that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom . (2 Samuel 17:14)
Read the picture of the LORD when he is angry, and how he takes revenge on people with evil and wickedness: (27Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar; his anger is kindled, and the conflagration is great. His lips are full of fury, and his tongue is like a devouring fire. 28And his breath is like a mighty river that reaches to the neck, To sift the nations with a sieve of wickedness, And on the jaws of the peoples is a deceitful bridle . Isaiah 30:27-28
Read how the Lord sends the evil spirit (Satan) to possess his prophet Saul: ((14And the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. 15And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold, an evil spirit from God troubles you .”) 1 Samuel 16:14-15
Read : The Bible encourages colonialism, usury, and racism: (19“Do not lend to your brother on interest, on interest of money, on interest of food, or on interest of any thing that is lent on interest. 20 To a stranger you may lend on interest, but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that the Lord your God may bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land which you are entering to possess .) Deuteronomy 23:19-20
Read : The Lord of the Bible urges racism and selling the flesh of the dead to strangers: (21“ You shall not eat any carcass that you give to a stranger who is within your gates , and he may eat it or sell it to a stranger, for you are a people holy to the Lord. Your God.) Deuteronomy 14:21
Isn’t it in Satan’s interest to tarnish the image of the Lord to all who read the book that belongs to him? Do you think, O wise man, that the children of Israel were killing the prophets of God because of their teachings to them, so they killed them and left the teachings of the Lord intact?
And do you think, O wise man, that the Lord who failed to defend himself and his life will be able to defend his book?
Isn’t it in Satan’s interest to appoint a prophet of the Lord who will be an instrument of humiliation for the Lord throughout this prophet’s life?
Read: The Prophet of God, Jacob, wrestles with the Lord and defeats Him : (22And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two maidservants, and his eleven sons, and crossed the ford of Jabbok. 23And he took them, and brought them over the brook, and brought over that which was his. 24And Jacob was left alone; and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day . 25And when he saw that he did not prevail against him, he touched the socket of his thigh, and it was dislocated . The socket of Jacob's thigh as he wrestled with him . 26And he said, "Let me go, for the day has broken." But he said, "I will not let you go unless you bless me." 27And he asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Jacob." 28And he said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed." 29And Jacob asked him, "Tell me your name." And he said, “Why do you ask my name?” And he blessed him there. 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “Because I have seen God face to face, and yet my life is preserved .” Genesis 32:22-30
Is a god who was struck by someone who forced him to bless him and inspire him and consider him a prophet a mighty, powerful, and almighty god, or a humiliated and lowly god? For whose benefit is this story found in a book attributed to the Lord? Is it not for the benefit of Satan and his worship?
Not to mention that the writer of this book was able to show the Lord in all forms of failure, stupidity or close cooperation with Satan: Read how the Lord chose his prophets and the best of his creation from the worst of people! Whose interest is there in these stories except for Satan and to show his superiority over the Lord and his prophets at every moment of the call and the presence of prophets on earth?
This is the prophet of God, Abraham, who traded in the honor of his beautiful wife Sarah (Genesis 12:11-16), and this is Jacob who lied to his father and stole the blessing and prophecy from his brother, and thus forced the Lord to inspire him (Genesis chapter 27) , and even struck the Lord and forced him to bless him (Genesis 32:24-30), and this is Lot who committed adultery with his two daughters and had children from them (Genesis 19:30-38), and this is Reuben who committed adultery with his father’s wife (Genesis 35:22; 49:3-4), and this is Judah who committed adultery with his son’s wife and had children from her (Genesis chapter 38), and this is Moses and Aaron who betrayed the Lord and did not sanctify Him before the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 32:48-51), and this is Aaron who made the calf and called the children of Israel to worship it, and Moses left him and did not punish him (Exodus 32:1-6), and this is David who committed adultery with his neighbor’s wife and killed him and betrayed his army (2 Samuel 11), then he killed his five sons from his wife Michal to please the Lord (2 Samuel 21:8-9), and that he slept in the lap of a virgin girl in his old age (1 Kings 1:1-4), and despite that, the awaited Messiah, who is considered the seal of God’s messengers, and whose law will be the everlasting law, will come in their view from David, after all they said about him, and this Absalom, son of David, committed adultery with his father’s wives (2 Samuel 16:22), and this Amnon, son of David, committed adultery with his sister Tamar (2 Samuel 13), not to mention the prophets who forsook the Lord and worshipped idols, and even called for their worship and built altars for them, and offered sacrifices to them like the prophet of God, the wise Solomon (1 Kings 11:4-7).
It is strange that John dreamed of this at a time when Satan proved his skill in getting rid of Jesus! He took control of one of his disciples and delivered him to destruction:
(3 Then Satan entered into Judas, who was called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve .) Luke 22:3
(27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. And Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly .”) John 13:27
According to the words of the Bible, they did not need to bind Satan or even give him weight in life. It is possible to get rid of Satan according to the Bible, without being in the company of the Lord or His protection or care. It is enough for you to burn the liver Whale:
( And in that night, if you burn the liver of the fish, Satan will be defeated . ) Tobit 6:19
As for his fall from heaven, it happened several centuries later, especially when Jerome (345-420 AD) translated the Bible into Latin. Of course, he did not know that Satan was chained in Upper Egypt and what John said in his vision, or that he considered this vision like the dreams of other people, so it is not sacred. Otherwise, how did he fall while he was chained in his prison? And did evil end from the world with the chaining of Satan and his gang even in the first millennium after Jesus?
We see that he linked Isaiah’s words about the fall of the King of Babylon from heaven: (12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How are you cut down to the ground, who did weaken the nations? ) Isaiah 14:12, with Jesus’ words: (18And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. ” Luke 10:18
The two sentences have nothing to do with each other. The point of contact between them is Isaiah’s statement about the king of Babylon (the morning star), who is known in Roman mythology as Satan (Lucifer), which means (bringer of light). This is a glorification of Satan to be the morning star that shines his light and illumination on creation, and is the reason for the growth of crops, lighting the way, and removing fear from the hearts of those who fear the darkness, and even all the good that people reap from his work in the light of day. It is the same work of the pagan goddess Venus who appears before the sun in the darkness, bringing light with her.
Jesus’ statement means that Jesus saw Satan descending from heaven like lightning. So what was he doing in heaven? Is this a confirmation of his companionship with the Lord’s congregation throughout this life until the Lord expelled him from his company in the time of Jesus? But why was Satan expelled after this long service in which he served the Lord and helped Him rule the world? And why did He not expel him before that?
Jesus says that he saw Satan descending from heaven like lightning, and the text of Isaiah says that it was the morning star that fell, so Jerome replaced (the morning star) with (Satan), and thus Satan became the bringer of light and the dispeller of darkness, and he transformed from a negative, frightening, unwanted being, cursed by the cursers, into a positive, desired being, whose closeness and presence all people desire.
However, Satan in the New Testament, when he came down to earth, was a disaster for the Lord. When he came down incarnate, he detained him (Luke 4:1-11) in the desert for forty days, denied him any help from his soldiers or angels, and did not allow him to eat or drink. He led him wherever he wanted, and stopped him as a disciple tests him. Rather, he stopped him as a servant to his Lord, and ordered him to bow down to Him!
During this period of time, he only conducted three tests. If we were to calculate their time, we would say that they only took five or ten minutes. So why did the writer write that his detention lasted for 40 days? Wasn’t it enough for Satan to whisper to him or test him in his room, for example? Did the writer of this novel want to embody the extent of the humiliation and degradation that the Lord suffered at the hands of Satan? Did he want to portray the strength and greatness of Satan, in contrast to the weakness and humiliation of the Lord?
And what happened between them in the desert for forty days? How did Jesus urinate, defecate, or bathe? Did he do this in front of Satan’s eyes without shame, or was he forced to do so? Or did Satan not let him relieve himself, so he relieved himself on his clothes? Did he take a bath or did he remain in this hot weather that the wilderness is famous for without bathing until his smell became bad?
Or did Satan know that the Lord would descend to earth in the form of a man, so he waited for him, hunted him after he was filled with the Holy Spirit, and kidnapped him to the desert, where he slaughtered him and fed him to the wild beasts, then returned in his form and ordered you to worship and bow down to him?
Or did he wait for him on earth after he expelled him from his company in heaven, and killed him in the desert after he kidnapped him, and fed him to the wild beasts, then ascended to heaven and occupied the throne of the Lord? And do not forget that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God and cannot be separated for a moment, so with the death of Jesus the Father and the Holy Spirit died.
Or do you think that this idea did not occur to Satan’s mind, and he preferred to send Judas Iscariot to betray him and hand him over to the Jews and have the Romans kill him at the insistence of the Jews?
Thus, Satan became an enemy of God and even an enemy of humanity! But he and his soldiers are bound, and despite that, he is the god of this age and the master of this world!! That is, he occupied the throne of God in ruling the world with a new name and a new form. As for his name as Satan or Iblis, it has been preserved for a thousand years since the time of Jesus!
And this powerful Satan was able to seduce women, who are the first foundation in the formation of society. So women were Satan’s allies, and were described with all the characteristics of evil, and were treated with all contempt.
( As the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness ) 2 Corinthians 11:3
( And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and fell into the transgression ) 1 Timothy 2:14
( By one man sin entered the world, and death by sin, and thus death passed upon all men, because all sinned .) Romans 5:12
(18 Therefore, as by one man's trespass judgment came upon all men to condemnation ) Romans 5: 18
Until they researched in the fifth century in the Council of Bacon whether she had a soul or was created without a soul and they were discussing: (Is woman a pure body or is she a body with a soul that is entrusted with salvation and destruction?) And it was decided that woman is devoid of the saving soul that saves her from Hell, and there is no exception among all the daughters of Eve from this stigma except Mary, peace be upon her.
Another council decided that women are unclean animals that must be kept away from, that they have no soul or immortality, and that they are not taught the principles of religion because they do not accept their worship, and they do not enter heaven and the kingdom, but they must serve and worship, and their mouths should be gagged like a camel or a rabid dog, to prevent them from laughing and speaking because they are the devil’s snare . ”
In the fifteenth century, “a social council was formed in Britain in the year 1500 to torture women, and new methods were invented to torture them, and thousands of them were burned alive, and boiling oil was poured on their bodies just for fun .”
(According to English common law - until about the middle of the last century - women remained not counted among the “persons” or “citizens” that the law agreed to call them by this name, so they had no personal rights, no right to the money they earned, and no right to own anything, even the clothes they wore .)
Therefore: (The French Civil Code (after the French Revolution) stipulated that Minors are the boy, the insane, and the woman , until it was amended in 1938, and it still has some restrictions on the actions of the married woman.) (The Return of the Veil, Part Two, p. 46)
Therefore: It was common in Britain until the end of the tenth century a law that gave the husband the right to sell his wife, lend her, and even kill her if she was afflicted with a terminal illness .
Therefore: ( The English law in 1801 AD and until 1805 set the price of the wife at six pence, provided that the sale was made with the wife’s consent .)
Therefore: Pope (Innocent VIII) declared in his bull (1484) that the human being and the woman appear to be two stubborn opposites .
Therefore: Schopenhauer said (Woman is an animal, a man must beat her, feed her and imprison her . That
is why Luther said: ( A woman is like a nail driven into the wall ).
That is why Aristotle said: ( The male is the model or the standard, and every woman is a defective man ).
That is why the philosopher Nietzsche said: ( She is not worthy of friendship , she is nothing but a cat, and she may be a bird, and if she rises, she becomes a cow - and the heart of a woman is for him the source of evil, and she is a riddle that is difficult to solve, and a man is advised not to forget the whip if he goes to women ).
Therefore Luther said: ( If women get tired, or even die, all that does not matter, let them die in the process of childbirth, for they were created for that ) (The Multiple Wives of the Prophets, p. 235)
Therefore Jerome said, humiliating women and their rights: ( If we abstain from sexual intercourse, we honor our wives, but if we do not abstain: Well, what is the opposite of honor except humiliation )
Jerome also said: " Since woman was created for childbirth and children, she differs from man, as the body differs from the spirit. But when a woman desires to serve Christ more than the world, then she will cease to be a woman, and will be called a man " (Jerome's Commentary on Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians)
It is enough for us not to prolong the quotation of Philip Rappaport:
Philip Rappaport said: (( Perhaps, there was no period in human history, in which the position of woman was more lowly and degraded than at the beginning of Christianity. According to the sayings of the Fathers The Church; woman was an unclean being, and she is the temptress who brought sin into the world, and from whom it is good and holy to stay away .))!!
Philip Rappaport, Looking Forward: A Treatise on the Status of Woman and the Origin and Growth of the Family and the State, p.48
Satan succeeded in tormenting half of humanity, i.e. women, and placing the burden of oppressing and tormenting women on the other half!
Thus, the image of Satan changed in his journey from the Old Testament as a companion of the Lord and his companion in his rule and meetings, until the Lord himself became in the New Testament: “ the god of this age ” (2 Cor. 4:4) and “the ruler of this world ” (John 12:31; 16:11), and “ the prince of the power of the air ” (Eph. 2:2)?
It is impossible for the Lord to acknowledge that Satan is the god of this age and the ruler of the world, so who wrote that? And where was the Lord at that time?
Didn’t I tell you that Satan got rid of the Lord in the wilderness?
We conclude from this that these books that you call sacred are human books, written by people with this culture, this imagination about God and Satan, this religion and understanding, and even the thinking of the society in which they lived at that time: a shallow thinking, full of illusions, and dominated by folk tales and imaginary myths. It does not know the truth of God, nor does it value Him. If you like, say: that it was written by infidels who wanted to fight the true religion of God in His books that He revealed to His believing servants, to His pure prophets, until one of them described Pharaoh’s paradise as sweeter, more beautiful and greater than God’s paradise, meaning stick with Satan and Pharaoh and you will gain a paradise greater than God’s paradise! Infidelity is more beneficial for you! And Satan is more lasting for you!
(7And he was beautiful in his greatness, and in the length of his branches, because his root was by many waters . 8The cedars in the garden of God did not surpass him , nor the cypresses his branches, nor the plane trees his branches. None of the trees in the garden of God were like him in his beauty . 9I made him beautiful in the multitude of his branches, so that all the trees of the garden envied him . Eden, which is in the garden of God .) Ezekiel 31: 7-9
