Circumcision: A medical and legislative miracle in the final message
Circumcision... is one of the legislative and medical miracles in the final message.
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: [Five things are natural dispositions: circumcision , shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, trimming the moustache, and clipping the nails] (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
. Circumcision is a divine law whose source is revelation. Christianity suspended it, but Islam came and restored it. It is one of the natural dispositions that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, urged Muslims to follow. The British newspaper, Daily Mail, quoted Professor Brian Morris , who conducted the academic study, as saying that the health benefits of male circumcision reduce the risk of disease by a hundredfold. The study, conducted by a joint medical team from the United States and Australia, found that half of men who are not circumcised suffer from poor health conditions during their lives. The percentage of male newborns who are circumcised in the United States was 83% in the 1960s, but this percentage has decreased to 77% today. Morrison, who works at the University of Sydney in Australia, said: “There are two reasons for the decline in the rate of circumcision among newborns. The first is demographic changes and the increase in the percentage of ethnicities that do not practice circumcision in the United States. The other reason is the absence of medical assistance for the poor in 18 American states, as the rate of circumcision in these poor states is about 24%.” Morrison added, “ The study found that circumcision of children should be treated equally with the issue of vaccinations and immunizations that children receive, and should become a routine offer to parents regardless of their ethnic origins .” He continued, “Delaying this puts the health of children at risk,” noting that the biggest and most important benefit of circumcision is “protection from urinary tract infections that can cause damage to the kidneys.” References http://www.alarabiya.net/ar/medicine...%A7%D9%8B.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...dy-claims.html Abstract study http://www.mayoclinicproceedings.org/article/S0025-6196%2814%2900036-6/abstract Centers for Disease Control http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/pdf/prevention_research_malecircumcision.pdf Source of the news in Arabic http://www.alarabiya.net/ar/medicine...%A7%D9%8B.html
So you believe that babies are naturally inclined to let their foreskin be circumcised by their parents when they are born? None of us consented to that, it's not in our natural disposition to remove our foreskin, otherwise, if it truly was, don't you think that every man who still has his foreskin would have circumcised it off merely due to natural inclination even if they are atheist? That would actually be the case, also this disproves that Fitrah means Natural Inclination, it doesn't, of course. Fitrah just means nature, Nature that is created by Allah. So if Fitrah is Nature, then the male body is one of the natural creations of Allah. Verse 30:30 says that Allah created mankind upon His Nature (Al-Fitrah) and that there is no changing/altering The Nature (Al-Fitrah): “So set thou thy face towards the doctrine, inclining to truth: — the nature of Allah with which He created people — (there is no changing the creation of Allah) that is the right doctrine, (but most men know not)” (Qur'an 30:30). The Qur'an also says that Allah has created us perfect: “We have created man in the best form,” (Qur'an 95:4), and that is the Shaytan who wants to change us as he says “I will misguide them, and I will entice them, and I will command them so they would slit the ears of livestock, and I will command them so they would alter Allah's creation." Anyone who takes the Shaytan for an ally instead of Allah has indeed lost; a clear loss. (Qur'an 4:119), also the Qur'an does say that Allah created us weak: “Allah desires to make lighter for you; and man was created weak.” (4:28), it would be a bad interpretation to say that this verse contradicts the perfect creation verse, because creating man weak is an intentional part of his design, not a fatal flaw on his design, so since you may consider having foreskin as a kind of weakness, should men remove it, no, because that's how Allah wanted them to be, the men who do have their foreskin, most of them don't consider it as a weakness, especially in comparison to being circumcised, infact they would hesitate to be circumcised, unlike us who are circumcised at birth without our consent, unless it was for a "religious reason" basically emotions, desires, subjective judgement at play, dogma taking over, basically shaytan enacting his influence on people to alter the way Allah has created them for religious approval and/or conveniency, basically cheating the test Allah has placed us in.
ReplyDeleteTo further clarify, the only time a person could get circumcised is if the foreskin is already damaged, extremely infected or causing major problems to the rest of the penis, if that's the only remedy, by consent from the man himself, as a last resort of course. Because Allah does not burden a soul.
