Corruption of the baptism text in Matthew 28:19
Many Christians deduce the existence of the concept of the Trinity in the New Testament based on the text of Matthew 28:19, which contains the baptismal formula.
We read from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 28, the common Arabic translation
: 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
However, his reasoning is invalid for one reason:
the text is distorted and the text was: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations in my name .
We have several proofs for this:
First: Eusebius of Caesarea (one of the fathers of the Church at the end of the third century and the beginning of the fourth century) when he quoted the text in his book History of the Church, he quoted it in this form: Go and make disciples of all nations in my name) :
We read from Eusebius of Caesarea’s book History of the Church, translated by Markos Daoud, page 100, Book Three, Chapter Five: The Last Siege of the Jews after Christ:
((As for the rest of the apostles, against whom the conspiracies continued with the intention of exterminating them, and they were persecuted from the land of Judea, they went to all nations to preach the Gospel relying on the power of Christ who said to them: Go and make disciples of all nations in my name ))

And if this indicates anything, it indicates that in the time of Eusebius the text of Matthew 28:19 did not contain this phrase ((and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit)) and thus this phrase is a later addition to the text!!
Second: We do not find this baptism formula (in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) in the sayings of the disciples. On the contrary, we find that the disciples were baptizing in the name of Jesus only in more than one text in the New Testament.
We read from the Book of Acts, Chapter 8
: 14 Now when the apostles who were in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John,
15 who, when they came down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16 for he had not yet fallen on any of them, except that they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus .
17 Then they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
And we read from the Book of Acts, Chapter 2,
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs, which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know.
23 This man you took, being delivered by the deliberate plan and foreknowledge of God, and by the hands of wicked men you crucified and killed,
24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it...
36 Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
37 When they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And we read from the Book of Acts, Chapter 19:
4. And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in him who was coming after him, that is, in Christ Jesus .”
And we read from the Book of Acts, Chapter 8:14.
And the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the Samaritans had received the word of God, so they sent to them Peter and John.

The truth of this distortion has been acknowledged by a group of critics and interpreters of the Holy Book, some of whom hinted without stating it explicitly :

And we read from the book Christian Theology and the Contemporary Man by Father Salim Bustros, part two, page 48:
(( Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit : Bible commentators believe that this commandment, which the Gospel put on the tongue of Jesus, is not from Jesus himself, but rather a summary of the preaching that prepared the catechumens for baptism in Greek circles. In the early years of Christianity, baptism was given “in the name of Jesus Christ” (Acts 2:38, 10:48) or “in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 8:16, 19:75). In Jewish circles, to distinguish Christian baptism from other rituals of purification and cleansing, it was sufficient to pronounce the name of Jesus Christ over the baptized person as evidence that he had become a part of Christ and was sealed with his seal.

The church of the first days did not observe this world wide command, even if they knew it. The command to baptize into the threefold name is a late doctrinal expansion In of the words "baptizing.... And the authors of the modern interpretation of the Bible tried to patch things up when they said that as long as we do not have Which manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew only mentions the name of Jesus in the text of Matthew 28:19!!!

The response to this patchwork is simple:
1. There is no papyrus from the New Testament papyri before the Sinaiticus manuscript (beginning of the fourth century) that contains a single text for the entire Gospel of Matthew, chapter 28. .
2. The oldest manuscript of the Bible currently available is the Sinaiticus manuscript, which was written approximately in the middle of the fourth century. How did they assert that Eusebius did not copy from other manuscripts or papyri that were available at the time and are not available now???
3. What is the conclusive evidence that Eusebius abridged the text? Baptism??? Why did he abbreviate it??? Did he abbreviate other texts in his other quotations???
4. What is the relationship between the current unavailability of manuscripts and the assertion that Eusebius abbreviated the text??? If manuscripts become available in the future, will your opinion change??? Is the matter Is it asserting something without evidence until evidence is presented against it??? So where did the logic of the burden of proof on the claimant go!!!!
