Qadianiyya in the service of the West and Israel
• The movement emerged as a result of planning by British colonialism in the Indian subcontinent, with the aim of distancing Muslims from their religion, and from the duty of jihad in particular.
• (Ghulam Ahmad) claimed that he was the awaited Mahdi and the promised Messiah, then he claimed prophethood, and claimed that his prophethood was higher and more sublime than the prophethood of our master Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace.
• The Qadiani believes that prophethood did not end with Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - but rather it is ongoing, and God sends the Messenger as necessary.
• (Ghulam Ahmad) is, in their view, the best of all the prophets, and they believe that he received revelations, and that his inspirations are like the Qur’an.
• They believe that they are the followers of a new religion and an independent law, and that the companions of (the boy) are like the companions, and that (Qadian) is like Medina and Mecca; and even better than them!! Its land is sacred, and it is their qibla, and to it they make their pilgrimage.
• They called for the abolition of jihad, and demanded blind obedience to the British government, because it is - according to their claim - the guardian of the matter according to the text of the Qur’an, and every Muslim is an infidel to them until he enters Qadianism.
• The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prevents them from entering its territory, because of their deviant thinking and their clear disbelief, and this is what the Islamic Fiqh Council in Mecca issued a fatwa on.
* * *
No one denies that deviant sects are a malignant cancer in the body of the Islamic nation, especially those sects that threw themselves into the arms of colonialism, and arose and worked under its care, blessing and support. They are nothing more than a (fifth column) in the nation, and an evil spreading over the faith, religion, present and future of the nation.
Among these groups is the Qadiani sect, which is based in Pakistan, and whose members are spread across many countries of the world, especially Britain. It announces itself from time to time, trying to carry out subversive operations in the Islamic world, and to spread its deviant ideas and beliefs. I remember that we heard two years ago about those attempts that took place before the Hajj season, and they were represented by the attempt of 1,700 Qadiani thought bearers to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as pilgrims; to spread their ideas and beliefs among the masses of pilgrims. This is a conspiracy that was hatched by the leaders of Qadiani thought in Pakistan with the help of the Pakistani government.
The plot was to have the Pakistani government cancel the identification of its citizens’ sects on passports before the Hajj season, so that the Qadianis could enter the holy lands. However, it failed after it was revealed by the Pakistani newspapers themselves, as the Pakistani Muslim masses reject the Qadiani ideology, and the Pakistani parliament had previously issued a decision in the 1970s considering the Qadianis a sect outside the religion.
It is well known that the Saudi government has strictly prohibited the entry of Qadianis into its territory because of their deviant ideology and their clear disbelief. The Fiqh Council of the Muslim World League has issued a fatwa declaring them disbelievers because of the corruption of their beliefs, even if their names are similar to the names of Muslims.
Corrupt beliefs:
Qadiani: A religious movement that emerged in 1900 AD in the Punjab region of India - currently Pakistan - and was also called Ahmadiyya, after its founder Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, and it was named Qadiani after Qadian, a village located in the Punjab region, about sixty miles from Lahore, and where the founder of this movement was born in 1839 AD.
This movement emerged as a result of planning by British colonialism in the Indian subcontinent, with the aim of distancing Muslims from their religion, and from the duty of jihad in particular, so that they would not confront colonialism in the name of Islam. The mouthpiece of this movement was the “Magazine of Religions” published in English.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Al-Qadiani was considered the main tool for the establishment of Qadianism. He belonged to a family that was known for betraying religion and country, and therefore he grew up loyal to colonialism, obeying it in every situation. He was chosen for the role of the prophet so that Muslims would rally around him and be distracted from the struggle against British colonialism. The British government had many favors for them, so they showed loyalty to it. Ghulam Ahmad was known among his followers for his mood swings, frequent illnesses, and drug addiction!
Conspiracy against Islam
This group is in reality a religious and political conspiracy against Islam, which was embraced by the British when they colonized India. It infiltrated the ranks of Muslims and began to direct its call to the Arab countries. It appeared in Syria, Iraq, and Indonesia, and it was desperately hoping for someone to listen to it in the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf, but it was unable to do so at that time, and Qadianiyyah emerged as a powerful agent of the British in the name of Islam.
With this doctrine, Britain caused great strife among Muslims, from which Muslims are still suffering. It divided their word and created agents in every Islamic country from among the people of that country.
Britain found that the Qadianis were the best to achieve their goals and betray the Islamic nation to which they belong.
Qadianiyyah followed the steps drawn for it by the English. Here is the Qadiani saying: “I spent my life supporting and aiding the English government. I wrote books, announcements and pamphlets prohibiting jihad and the obligation of obedience to the English rulers. If they were collected together, they would fill fifty libraries!! I published all of these books in the Arab countries, Egypt, the Levant and Turkey. My goal was always for Muslims to become loyal to this government, and for the emotion of jihad that corrupts the hearts of fools to be erased from their hearts”!!
He also said: “Since my early youth - and I am now approaching sixty - I have been struggling with my pen and tongue to turn the hearts of Muslims towards loyalty to the British government, and to abolish the idea of jihad that some of their ignorant people believe in, which prevents them from loyalty to this government. I see that my writings have affected the hearts of Muslims and brought about a change in hundreds of thousands of them.”
Al-Qadiani was extremely hostile to the Sunnis. He saw the revolutions they were carrying out against the colonists as the work of rigid minds and foolishness. He discouraged them with all his strength and tricks to prevent them from waging jihad against the invaders, and he shouted at them: “Jihad is forbidden, and it must be abandoned and one must submit to the government that God has commanded us to obey.”
He also said: “By God, we saw under its shadow a security that is not to be expected from the government of Islam these days, and therefore it is not permissible for us to raise the sword against them in jihad, and it is forbidden for all Muslims to fight them; this is because they have been kind to us with all kinds of gratitude.”
Then they attack those who say that they abolish the idea of jihad, saying: “The Qadianis and the Qadianis do not abolish the idea of jihad, and the jihad that they claim to abolish is not jihad against the infidels, but rather that jihad that suggests that the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - was a tyrant who killed people; because Islam abolishes embracing religion out of fear and greed; rather, Islam is the first religion to establish freedom of belief.”
Then they decide that religious wars are only permissible against those who prevent Muslims from saying “Our Lord is Allah,” and that such wars do not aim to destroy temples and churches; rather, they aim to defend all other religions and sects, and to preserve their temples, and that jihad is to fight those who force Muslims to apostatize from Islam, so fighting someone for crimes other than these is absolutely impermissible.
God (Qadiani) English!!
If we look at the ideas and misguided beliefs of the Qadianis, we find that (Ghulam Ahmad) began his activity as an Islamic preacher; so that supporters would gather around him, then he claimed that he was a reformer and inspired by God, then he took another step; he claimed that he was the awaited Mahdi and the promised Messiah, then he claimed prophethood, and he claimed that his prophethood was higher and more sublime than the prophethood of our Master - Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace!!
The Qadianis believe that God fasts and prays, sleeps and wakes up, writes and makes mistakes and has sexual intercourse!!! - God is far above what they say - the Qadiani also believes that his God is English because he addresses him in English, and that prophethood did not end with Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - but is ongoing, and God sends the messenger when necessary, and that (Ghulam Ahmad) is the best of all the prophets!!
They believe that Gabriel used to descend upon (Ghulam Ahmad), and that he used to inspire him, and that his inspirations are like the Qur’an. They say: There is no Qur’an except that which was presented by the Promised Messiah (the boy), and no Hadith except that which is in the light of his teachings, and no Prophet except under the sovereignty of (Ghulam Ahmad).
They believe that their book is revealed, and its name is (The Clear Book), and it is not the Holy Quran, and that they are the followers of a new, independent religion and an independent law, and that the companions of (the boy) are like the companions, and that (Qadian) is like Medina and Mecca; and even better than them!! Its land is sacred, and it is their Qiblah and to it they make their pilgrimage, and they called for the abolition of the doctrine of Jihad, and they demanded blind obedience to the British government; because - according to them - it is the guardian of the matter according to the text of the Quran!! And every Muslim is an infidel to them until he enters Qadianism, and whoever marries or is married to a non-Qadian is an infidel, and they permit alcohol, opium, drugs and intoxicants!!!
Among those who confronted him and his malicious call was Sheikh ( Abu al-Wafa Thana al-Amritsari ), the leader of the (Ahl al-Hadith Association) throughout India. He debated him and defeated his argument, and exposed the malice of his inner self, and the blasphemy and deviation of his sect. When Ghulam Ahmad did not return to his senses, Sheikh (Abu al-Wafa) challenged him to a challenge, demanding that the liar among them would die during the lifetime of the truthful one. Only a few days passed until (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiani) died in the year 1908 AD, leaving behind more than fifty books, pamphlets and articles. Among his most important books are: “Izalat al-Awham”, “I’jaz Ahmadi”, “Bahāreen Ahmadiyya”, “Anwar al-Islām”, “I’jaz al-Masih”, “Al-Tablīgh”, and “Tajalliyat al-Ilāhiyya”.
After the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in 1908, he was succeeded as head of the movement by Hakim Nooruddin, the first Caliph of Qadian. The British placed the crown of the Caliphate on his head, and the disciples followed him. He presented a distorted translation of the Holy Quran into English. Among his works are “The Truth of Difference,” “Prophethood in Islam,” “The Islamic Religion,” and “The Decisive ...
The first : It was led by “Bashir al-Din Mahmud bin Ghulam Ahmad”, and it is the (Qadian) branch. Those affiliated with this branch preserved the ideas of (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) and were strict in implementing them literally.
The second : It was led by “Muhammad Ali Al-Lahori” and it is the (Lahore) branch, and is known as (Ahmadiyya).
Among their beliefs:
1- They did not deny the inspirations of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, but they denied his claim to prophethood, and interpreted the texts he mentioned in this regard as (metaphorical expressions).
2- They avoided calling Muslims who did not believe in their call infidels, but called them (the wicked).
These two branches (Qadian branch, Lahore branch) are called the Ahmadiyya movement, and they have extensive activity in many parts of the world, represented in building mosques and establishing cultural centers.
Among the leaders of this deviant sect are also:
- Muhammad Sadiq: Mufti of Qadiani, one of his works is “The Seal of the Prophets.”
- Bashir Ahmed bin Al-Ghulam: Among his works are “The Biography of the Mahdi” and “The Final Word.”
Mahmoud Ahmed bin Al-Ghulam: Among his works are “Anwar Al-Khilafah,” “Tuhfat Al-Muluk,” and “The Truth of Prophethood.”
The appointment of Zafarullah Khan Al-Qadiani as the first Pakistani Foreign Minister had a great impact in supporting this deviant group, as he allocated a large area in the Punjab region to be a global center for this sect, and they named it (Rabwah), borrowing from the text of the Qur’anic verse: { And We sheltered them on a high ground, having level ground and flowing springs } [Al-Mu’minun: 50].
Fighting Qadiani thought
The Qadiani sect is a deviant sect by consensus of Muslim scholars. Numerous fatwas have been issued to this effect by a number of legal councils and bodies in the Islamic world, including: the Fiqh Council affiliated with the Muslim World League, the Islamic Fiqh Council affiliated with the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the fatwas issued by scholars in Egypt, the Levant, Morocco, India, and elsewhere.
Muslims in Pakistan have stood up to fight and expose the Qadiani thought. In 1953, a popular revolution took place in Pakistan, demanding the dismissal of Zafarullah Khan, the foreign minister at the time, and considering the Qadiani sect a non-Muslim minority. About ten thousand Muslims were martyred in it, and they succeeded in dismissing the Qadiani minister.
In the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1394 AH, corresponding to April 1974 AD, a major conference was held by the Muslim World League in Mecca, attended by representatives of international Islamic organizations from all over the world. The conference declared this sect to be infidels and outside of Islam, and called on Muslims to resist its danger, not to deal with the Qadianis, and not to bury their dead in Muslim graves.
The decisions of the Islamic Fiqh Council stated the following: “After examining the referendum submitted by the Islamic Fiqh Council in Cape Town, South Africa, regarding the ruling on both the Qadianiyya and the sect branching off from it called the Lahoriyya, in terms of considering them as Muslims or not, and in light of the research and documents presented to the members of the Council on this subject about Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiani, who appeared in India in the last century, and to whom the Qadiani and Lahori sects are attributed, and after contemplating the information mentioned about these two sects, and after confirming that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed prophethood by saying that he was a prophet sent to him with revelation, and this was proven from him in his writings, some of which he claimed were revelations sent down to him, and throughout his life he continued to spread this call, and he asked people in his books and statements to believe in his prophethood and message, and it was proven from him that he denied much of what was known of religion by necessity, such as jihad.
The Council decided: What Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed of prophethood, messengership, and revelation being sent down to him is an explicit denial of what has been proven in the religion by necessity, with absolute and certain proof, that the message and prophethood were sealed with our Master Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - and that no revelation will be sent down to anyone after him. This claim by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad makes him and all those who agree with him apostates outside of Islam. As for the Lahoris, they are like the Qadianis in the ruling that they are apostates, and what Mirza Ghulam Ahmad described as a shadow and emergence of our Prophet Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace.
The National Assembly of Pakistan (the central parliament) discussed the leader of the sect (Mirza Nasir Ahmad), and Sheikh (Mufti Mahmood) - may God have mercy on him - responded to him. This discussion lasted for about thirty hours, during which (Nasser Ahmad) was unable to answer, and the veil of disbelief of this sect was exposed. So the council issued a decision to consider the Qadianis a non-Muslim minority.
The following are among the reasons for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s disbelief :
1- His claim to prophethood.
2- Copying the obligation of jihad in the service of colonialism.
3- He cancelled the Hajj to Mecca and transferred it to Qadian.
4- Comparing God Almighty to humans.
5- His belief in the doctrine of reincarnation and incarnation.
6- He attributed the son to God Almighty and claimed that he was the son of God.
7- His denial of the seal of prophethood with Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - and his opening of its door to anyone who comes along!!
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif's position
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif formed a committee headed by Sheikh (Abdul Majeed Al-Labban) - the first dean of the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion in the 1930s - which investigated the case of two students affiliated with this group, who were promoting their doctrine in Egypt. The decision issued by this committee stated that the Qadianis were infidels, and it also decided to expel the two students from Al-Azhar.
The ruling that those who embrace the ideas of this sect are infidels is based on what its founder (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) claimed, that Christ was not raised to heaven physically, but rather with his soul, and that his body is buried in India. This was the first opinion in which he differed from the majority of Muslims. Then he claimed that the soul of Christ had resided in him, so the return of Christ, in which Muslims believe, was achieved by the soul of Christ residing in his body. He also claimed that he is the awaited Mahdi, and he is sent to renew the matter of the Islamic religion. What he says is the truth, and no one has the right to deny it, since he is speaking on behalf of God - the Most High.
He did not stop there; rather, he claimed that the divinity had taken up residence in his body, and that miracles had appeared at his hands; he is a messenger from God, and his message does not contradict the fact that Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - is the Seal of the Prophets; he interprets the Seal of the Prophets in the words of God Almighty: { Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of God and the Seal of the Prophets } [Al-Ahzab: 40], as meaning that every messenger who comes after him will have his seal and approval, and will revive and renew his law.
Among his opinions that contradict the teachings of Islam:
1- He abolished the obligation of jihad, explaining that it had exhausted its purposes; therefore, there was no need for it after the strife in religion had disappeared.
2- It is not permissible for an Ahmadi to pray behind a non-Ahmadi imam.
3- Judging those who do not believe in his call as infidels.
4- It is not permissible for an Ahmadi woman to marry a non-Ahmadi woman.
Qadiani and Israel
Qadianiyya has close relations with Israel. Israel has opened centers and schools for them, and enabled them to publish a magazine that speaks in their name, and to print books and pamphlets for distribution around the world. Qadianiyya has also been influenced by Christianity, Judaism, and esoteric movements in their beliefs and behavior, despite their outward claim to be Muslim.
Most of the Qadianis now live in India and Pakistan, and a few of them in Israel and the Arab world. They seek, with the help of colonialism, to obtain sensitive positions in every country in which they settle. The Qadianis are very active in Africa and some Western countries. In Africa alone, they have more than five thousand guides and preachers, who are dedicated to calling people to Qadianism. Their extensive activity confirms the support of the colonial authorities for them.
The British government embraces this doctrine and facilitates its followers’ employment in global government departments in company administrations and commissions, and employs them as high-ranking officers in its secret intelligence. The Qadianis are active in calling for their doctrine by all means, especially cultural ones, as they are educated and have many scientists, engineers and doctors. There is a satellite channel in Britain called Islamic Television that is run by the Qadianis.
