Statement of the story of the marriage of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Umaimah bint al-Nu’man ibn Shurahil

This hadith is used by the worshippers of the cross to claim that the Messenger was a polygamist and used to take women against their will,
and they go much further than that.

Abu Naim narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghasil narrated to us, on the authority of Hamza ibn Abi Usayd, on the authority of Abi

Usayd, may God be pleased with him, who said: We went out with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, until we went to a wall
called Ash-Shawt, until we reached two walls and sat between them. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
: Sit here. He entered and Al-Juniyah had been brought and she was accommodated in a house in a palm grove in the house of Umaymah bint
An-Nu’man ibn Shurahil, and her wet nurse was with her. When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered upon her,
he said: Give yourself to me. She said: Does a queen give herself to a commoner? He reached out with his hand to put his hand on her
so that she would calm down. She said: I seek refuge in God from you. He said: I have sought refuge with Mu’adh. Then he came out to us and said: O Abu Usayd, clothe her with
two zaqeeqahs and send her back to her family.

Al-Husayn ibn Al-Walid said: Al-Naysaburi, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Abbas bin Sahl, on the authority of his father
and Abu Usaid, said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, married Umaimah bint Shuraheel, and when she was brought to him, he
extended his hand to her, and it seemed that she disliked that, so he ordered Abu Usaid to prepare her and clothe her in two Raziq garments.
Abdullah bin Muhammad told us, Ibrahim bin Abi al-Wazir told us, Abd al-Rahman told us, on the authority of Hamza,
on the authority of his father, and on the authority of Abbas bin Sahl bin Saad, on the authority of his father, with this:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:

Rather, We cast the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is woe for that which you describe. ) Al-Anbiya’ 18

Ladies and gentlemen, the enemies of religion continue to spin their rotten yarn around issues that do not exist in
reality except in their book, which in turn wove them in their imaginations and hearts. , so the chests began
to ooze with every kind of rot and impurity.

And it is sufficient for us to refute this rot, Bukhari’s classification in his Sahih!!

Bukhari mentioned this hadith under the title:

Chapter: Who Divorced and Should a Man Confront His Wife with Divorce?

I believe that the name of the chapter alone is enough to refute the doubt, as Al-Juniyah, who is Umaymah bint Al-Nu’man, was
his wife, but he divorced her. So the chivalry and good character of the master of creation struck the bodies of
the doubters against the wall, making them the third of three!!

Al-Juniyah is Umaymah bint Al-Nu’man bin Sharaheel. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in his explanation of the hadith:

The correct thing is that her name is Umaymah bint Al-Nu’man bin Sharaheel as in the hadith of Abu Usaid.
(Fath Al-Bari fi Sharh Sahih Al-Bukhari - Chapter: Who Divorced and Should a Man Confront His Wife with Divorce?)

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married her, but he separated from her.

Al-Awza’i said: I asked Al-Zuhri which of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sought refuge from him?
He said: Urwa told me on the authority of Aisha, may God
be pleased with her, that when the daughter of Al-Jun was brought to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he came close to her, she said: I seek refuge in God from you
. So he said to her: (You have sought refuge in something great. Go back to your family.)
(Fath Al-Bari fi Sharh Sahih Al-Bukhari - Chapter: The one who divorces and should a man confront his wife with the divorce?)

Ibn Abd Al-Barr said:They agreed that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, married Al-Juniyah. (Previous source)

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in his explanation:

He had already married Umaimah and then divorced her.

We will add another narration in Tabaqat Ibn Saad, which Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar included so that it may be the straw
that we can poke the eye of the spiteful one, God willing. It is on the authority of Abu Usaid, also the narrator of the hadith of Al-Bukhari.
Praise and thanks be to God:

Al-Hafiz said: On the authority of Abu Usaid, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, married a woman from Banu Al
-Jun and he ordered me to bring her to him, so I brought her to him and I put her down behind a fly in a roof, then
I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and told him, so he went out walking and we were with him.

And Dhubab with the damma of the voiced letter and two unified letters, lightened, is a well-known mountain in Medina, and
Al-Atam
Al-Husun is also Al-Ajam, and the plural is Atam and Ajam like Anq and Anaq. And in a narration by Ibn Saad, Al-Nu’man Ibn Al-Husun is also Al-Ajam, and the plural is Atam and Ajam like Anq and Anaq. And in a narration by Ibn Saad,
Al-Nu’man Ibn Al-Jun Al-Kindi came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as a Muslim and said:
Shall I not marry you to the most beautiful widow among the Arabs? So he married her and sent with him Abu Asid Al-Sa’idi. Abu Asid said:
So he settled her in Bani Sa’idah, and the women of the neighborhood entered upon her, happy with her, and they went out and mentioned her beauty.
(Previous source)

So she was his wife, and this is the first point that we wanted to prove, and let the infidel die of hatred and rage!!!

The story is clear, which is that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her, he knew that she had
recently lived in the Age of Ignorance and did not know his value, so she behaved in that repulsive manner. The Master of Humanity was
the most merciful of all people, compassionate towards her, appreciating her feelings and forgiving her for not knowing about this
honor that would come from her marriage to him.

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said:

His saying: “Give yourself to me” etc. The word “souqah” with a damma on the “seen” is used to refer to one of the subjects,
the group. They were called that because the king drives them and they are driven to him and he directs them according to his desires. As for
the people of the market, each one of them is a vulgarian. Ibn Al-Munir said: This is from the remnants of what was in her from
the Age of Ignorance, and the vulgarian among them is someone who is not a king, whoever he may be. So it is as if she thought it unlikely that the queen would marry
someone who is not a king, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had been given the choice of being a king and a prophet, so he chose
to be a servant and a prophet out of humility towards his Lord.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not hold her accountable for her words, and she was excused for her recent history of her ignorance.
(Previous source)

And for this reason, the Prophet of Mercy wanted to reassure her and bring joy to her soul, so he extended his blessed hand
towards her and began to caress and tease her in the hope that she would change her mind.

Al-Hafiz said:

His saying: “So he inclined his hand” means he inclined it towards her.... And his saying: (Give me yourself) was to please
her and win her heart. (Previous source)

However, she did not realize this degree and this honor in her marriage to him, so she said what made the Prophet
feel that she did not want this marriage. So the Merciful, may God bless him and grant him peace, was an example to be followed
in respecting the desire of others, as he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to her: “Is there anyone seeking God’s protection?”
(Narrated by Ibn Saad - Fath Al-Bari in the explanation of the hadith).

The mercy bestowed did not stop there, but it exceeded the limit, by the Lord of the Kaaba!!
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, divorced her, granted her a gift, and gave her a gift, as evidence of his good
fulfillment of his covenant, and of his righteousness, generosity, and infinite mercy.!!!

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said: His saying: “Then he came out to us and said: O Abu Usaid, clothe her with two raziqeen”
Bara’ then Zay then Qaf in the dual form is a description of a described word that was omitted because it was known, and the raziqeen are
long white linen garments, said Abu Ubaidah.
Another said: There is blueness inside its whiteness, and the raziqeen is the thick one. (Previous source)

Ibn al-Tin said: He granted her that either as an obligation or as a favor. (Previous source)
Ibn al-Munir said: This was proven in the hadith of Aisha, the first hadith of the chapter. (The previous source)

Then Al-Hafiz commented saying: It is understood that he said to her: Go back to your family, then when he went out to Abu
Usaid he said to him: Go back to her family, so there is no contradiction, as the first meant divorce and the second meant the true meaning
of the word, which is to return her to her family, because Abu Usaid was the one who brought her as we mentioned.

So would a spiteful person dare to call this creation anything other than the creation of a prophet sent as a mercy to the worlds!! And if
the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a lover of the world and its pleasures as the
spiteful Christians who worship the world claim, he would not have divorced her, and she was the one whose beauty was talked about in the land of the Arabs!!

And it was mentioned in a narration by Ibn Saad “On the authority of Abu Usaid, he said: So he ordered me, so I returned her to her people”
(The previous source).

And this woman is not from the Mothers of the Believers, as the Mothers of the Believers are those whom the Prophet married
and lived with and imposed a veil on them and they were known as the Mothers of the Believers and the Prophet died while they were like that.

Ibn Saad narrated from Hisham bin Urwah from his father that Al-Walid bin Abdul Malik wrote to him
asking him, so he wrote to him: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not marry a Kindi woman except the sister of Banu Al-Jun, so he owned her.
When she came to Madinah, he looked at her and divorced her but did not consummate the marriage with her. (Previous source)

If the spiteful knew how much this woman regretted what she did with the presence of the Messenger of God, they would have retreated
like a retreating snake!!

Abu Usaid said when he returned Al-Juniyah to her people:

When I reached her, they shouted and said: You are not blessed, what happened to you? She said: You were deceived.
Usaid said: She died during the caliphate of Uthman. Then he said: Hisham bin Muhammad told me from Abu Khathima
Zuhair bin Muawiyah that she died of grief (Fath Al-Bari, quoting Ibn Saad in Al-Tabaqat).
