The Truth About the Miracle of the Holy Light (Holy Fire) - Easter and the Appearance of Light from the Tomb of Christ 2011 - 2014

 {O you who have believed, indeed many of the rabbis and monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [people] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.}

[At-Tawbah: 34]

This is a detailed topic about a miracle that many Orthodox Christians
around the world believe in, which is the emergence of what looks like light from the ( alleged ) tomb of Jesus Christ :sallah: annually in the Church of the Resurrection on Holy Saturday as part of the celebrations of the Feast of the Resurrection.

The Truth of the Miracle of the Holy Light (Holy Fire) Resurrection and the Appearance of the Light of Christ 2011 2014

1- Definition of the Holy Light (Holy Fire), the date and place of its occurrence, and its importance for different Christian sects: The appearance of the light from the tomb of Jesus Christ: It occurs in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the city of Jerusalem . The miracle occurs every year on the Eastern Orthodox Easter. This miracle occurs annually in the spring after the Jewish Passover . The Orthodox Easter differs from the Catholic and Protestant churches , depending on a different calculation The miracle of the emergence of the Holy Light from the tomb occurs annually at the same time and place since the resurrection of Christ, in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where a light appears from the tomb of Jesus Christ on Holy Saturday of Easter every year, and candles are lit from it and distributed to all present from church representatives. [Years with people's emails! - Questions of theology, faith and doctrine] * It is known - as mentioned - that: Orthodox Easter differs from the Catholic and Protestant churches, depending on a different calculation . As shown in the following table [ * ]: And therefore this miracle is not known in Western European countries? Because Protestants do not believe in miracles. But the Catholic Church believes in its tradition of miracles, but this miracle is not known because there is a church policy. Therefore, the celebration takes place annually without official Catholic participation. How does the Holy Light emerge from the tomb of Christ? The miracle of the emergence of the Holy Light (Holy Fire) occurs from within the holy stone on which the pure body of Christ was placed. This Holy Light is blue in color and then changes to several colors. The appearance of the Holy Light occurs annually in different forms, as it repeatedly fills the room in which the holy tomb of Christ is located. The most important characteristic of the Holy Light is that it does not burn, and I have received this Holy Light for sixteen years, and my beard has not been burned. The Holy Light lights some of the candles of the pious believers by itself, and lights the high, extinguished lamps in front of all those present. This Holy Light flies like a dove to all parts of the church. ========== =

2- How the Holy Light (Holy Fire) came out and occurred, and is it really a miracle or a trick and a game:

In 2005, in a debate on Greek television with a group of Orthodox priests , the writer and religious historian “ Michael Kalopoulos  dipped some candles in “white
phosphorus . ” The candles ignited spontaneously after about 20 minutes due to the self -ignition properties of white phosphorus due to friction with air. This light does not burn or cause harm, as it is unable to generate any kind of heat. [ * ]

The writer and religious historian Michael Kalopoulos commented " If white phosphorus is dissolved in suitable organic solvents self -ignition may be delayed until the organic solvents have almost completely evaporated. Repeated experiments have shown that ignition may be delayed for half an hour or more, depending on the density of the solution and the action of the solvents " [ * ]

This is confirmed by the London Encyclopaedia ( 1829) Volume 16 - Page 499

It says that the Greek Patriarch enters the tomb alone, perhaps with some phosphorus hidden in his pocket ... Then after the fire is lit, the Patriarch says that it has happened by a miracle, so he lights his torch and goes out to give it to the person he agreed with in advance, and the rest of the torches are lit in order according to who pays the most. ( * )

Some scientific websites deduce the historical knowledge of some people of phosphorus before Brand's discovery, from the existence of evidence proving its use inside churches, thus confirming what Saint Porphyry mentioned in his memoirs, saying:

Phosphorus and its compounds may have been known before Brand's discovery. Old manuscripts refer to materials that glow in the dark. The word used for such materials today is phosphorescent. Early Christians noted the use of "perpetual lamps" that glowed in the dark. The lamps may have contained phosphorus or one of its compounds. [ Phosphorus, Chemical Element - Chemistry Explained ]

Translation: Phosphorus and its components may have been known before Brand's discovery , as ancient manuscripts refer to it as a substance that glows in the dark. The name used for it at that time was " phosphorescence ". It has been noted that ancient Christians used "perpetually glowing lamps", which glowed in the dark. These lamps may have contained phosphorus or one of its components. [*]

Indeed, the scientist " Michael Kalopoulos" himself explained this in his experiment, saying: This type of reaction was known in ancient times , quoting what was recorded by the Greek historian, geographer and philosopher [*] "Strabo" , who says in his famous encyclopedia " Geographica ":
Poseidonius says that there are springs of naphtha in Babylonia, some of which produce white, others black, naphtha; The first of these, I mean the white naphtha, which attracts flame, [152] is liquid sulphur; the second, or black naphtha, is liquid asphaltus, and is burned in lamps instead of oil. [ Strabo's Geography - Book XVI - Chapter 1 Translation: Posidonius says that there are springs of naphtha in Babylon , some of which yield white naphtha, and some of which yield black naphtha: the first of these, I mean the white naphtha, which attracts flame , is liquid sulphur, while the second, or black naphtha, is liquid asphaltus, and is burned in lamps instead of oil. Michael Kalopoulos goes on to say:It is reported that phosphorus was used by Chaldean magicians in the fifth century BC, also by the ancient Greeks, and is currently used in the same way by the Eastern Orthodox Patriarchs in Jerusalem. [*]

3- What is the secret behind this miracle: And how does this holy fire not burn those who touch it!

The speaker says : "
The appearance of the holy light occurs annually in different forms, as it repeatedly fills the room in which the holy tomb of Christ is located. The most important characteristic of the holy light is that it does not burn ." This is nothing but a continuation of the previous series of deception and forgery. Just as it was explained how this light or fire appears and ignites scientifically , the technology used in this game was revealed by Orthodox monks and priests, which makes the fire not burn those who touch it. Rather, it is a game that children in the West master - who certainly do not know anything about this myth as mentioned previously - and

it is as follows: * It is known that combustion is a chemical reaction that produces heat and light. Combustion often includes the rapid mixing of oxygen with fuel to generate ignition Sometimes some chemicals such as fluorine and chlorine replace oxygen in the combustion process . Here the fuel is a piece of cotton cloth and the added liquid replaces oxygen . When you add the liquid to the piece of cloth wrapped with thread, the combustion occurs inside the piece and not outside it - because of the oxygen and the added liquid ( Ronsonol: a volatile liquid such as alcohol ) inside the piece - so the piece does not need oxygen from the air: the heat inside the piece is greater than on its surface and it is the light that appears around the piece . That is, the heat spreads from inside the ball until it is weak on its surface and it is the light that comes out as we see it. When this fuel runs out, the fire returns to its burning nature as actually happens in the celebration: A video explaining how the trick works practically:

4- The statements of the scholars and Christian clerics themselves about this phenomenon:

1- The famous English historian "
Edward Gibbon " : in

his book "
The History of the Decline and
Fall of the Roman Empire : which is considered one of the most important and greatest references on its subject. [ * ]:

Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Vol. 5 , by Edward Gibbon, [ 1788 ]: Chapter LVII : The Turks. Part III :

Adaptation
The miraculous flame which was kindled on the eve of Easter in the holy sepulchre. This pious fraud, first devised in the ninth century, was devoutly cherished by the Latin crusaders, and is annually repeated by the clergy of the Greek, Armenian, and Coptic sects, who impose on the credulous spectators for their own benefit, and that of their tyrants. [*]

Translation: The Holy Fire that burns on Easter Eve in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is a kind of pious fraud , first invented in the ninth century , and was recognized by the Latin Crusaders, and is repeated every year by a group of Greek

, Armenian and Coptic clergy, who impose it on the gullible spectators for their own benefit, out of their tyranny. [ * ] 2- The Greek humanist Adamantios Korais :

Adamantios Korais considered the Holy Fire a kind of religious fraud in his treatise On the Holy Light of Jerusalem . He referred to the event as " machinations of fraudulent priests " and the light as " unholy " and only " a profiteers ' miracle from the simpletons. * ] 3- Pope Gregory IX : In 1238 Pope Gregory IX denounced the Holy Fire and described it as a fraud and deception , and banned Catholics from participating in this fake celebration. [ * ] 4- London Encyclopaedia (1829) Volume 16 - Page 499 says that the Greek Patriarch enters the tomb alone, perhaps with some phosphorus hidden in his pocket ... 5- Conclusion:

The Holy Fire is only known and recognized by one of the three main Christian sects, the Orthodox Christians, which is considered the smallest sect in the world compared to the other sects ( Catholic and Protestant ). The " myth of the Holy Fire " is nothing but a kind of trick, deception and lies to collect donations from the naive and simple.

* The historian and religious writer Michael Kalopoulos , in a debate on Greek television with a group of Orthodox priests , revealed this trick through the self -ignition technique of white phosphorus due to friction with air.

* A type of combustion can be produced using an element other than oxygen ( Oxygen ) such as chlorine ( Chlorine ) or fluorine ( Fluorine ), with a piece of cloth moistened with a special type of fuel ( Fuel ) such as Ronsonol ( Ronsonol ), which is a volatile liquid like alcohol, so that combustion occurs inside the piece and not outside it, so the heat inside the piece is greater than on its surface and only light appears around the piece.

* This trick has been denied by many scientists, theologians and thinkers throughout the ages such as
the famous English historian Edward Gibbon the Greek humanist Adamantios Korais and Patriarch Father Gregory IX and they considered it nothing but a trick to deceive the simpletons and seize their money and donations. ======================= The best way to conclude, after what has been shown and previously mentioned, on the distortion and falsification of many of the clergy and monks, by their own admission, in order to seize the money of the simple Christians, is to ponder the words of Allah, the Most High: {O you who have believed, indeed many of the rabbis and monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [people] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.} [At-Tawbah: 34] After Allah, the Almighty, explained to us what is going on in their souls, and their deviation from the path of Allah, the Almighty, and their drowning in the love of this world and the love of desires , and they have purchased the verses of Allah for a small price, and distorted the teachings of heaven in order to eat people’s money unjustly, but is money eaten? Of course not, rather we buy the food that we eat with money, so why did Allah, the Almighty, use the phrase {that they may eat the wealth of people} ?

Allah the Almighty wanted to draw our attention to the fact that they do not take money according to their need for food and drink, but they take more than they need to hoard it. Therefore, Allah the Almighty says in the same verse that {And they hinder [people] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment . } They have thus eaten people’s money unjustly, in accordance with the words of God Almighty: “They certainly devour people’s wealth unjustly.” This means that there is eating people’s money unjustly in the exchange of benefits. The merchant takes your money to give you merchandise. The merchant goes to buy goods with it, and so on. The precautionary rule here is that there should be monks and rabbis who adhere to the teachings of the religion and do not eat people’s money unjustly. This is clear in the words of Allah, the Most High: {Indeed, many of the rabbis and monks devour people’s wealth unjustly.} Allah, the Most High, did not say: All rabbis and monks devour people’s wealth unjustly, but rather He said: {Indeed, many of the rabbis and monks} ; because there may be a limited number of rabbis and monks who are committed, and Allah does not wrong anyone; therefore, He came with the possibility. So if Allah, the Most High, had generalized and there were those among them who were committed to the religion. This means that the Holy Quran did not cover all possibilities, and God forbid that this should be the case; because the Truth, Glory be to Him, in His Quran protects all possibilities. Therefore: the seizure of people's money by some of these rabbis and monks is not by right, meaning that they do not only get what is enough for them, but also by falsehood, meaning more than they need. They take money to turn people away from the path of Allah, and in order to obtain worldly money, they change Allah's method in a way that is consistent with their desire for money, and what achieves for them the abundance of money that they obtain.
