Where is the Gospel of Christ acc to Christanity
in the first chapter of Paul’s letter to the Galatians
6 I am amazed that you are turning so quickly from him who called you in the grace of Christ to another gospel
7 which is not another, but there are some who trouble you and want to change the gospel of Christ.
Which proves that
1- that in the time of the apostles there was a gospel called the gospel of Christ
2- that there was another gospel that was different from the gospel of Christ in the time of Paul
3- that the distorters were in the process of distorting the gospel of Christ in the time of Paul.
Among the evidence that proves the existence of a gospel specific to Christ
is what is stated in “The Gospel of Mark 1:14-15”:
“Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the good news of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’”
Likewise, what is mentioned in the Gospel of Mark also "8:35": "Whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it."
Likewise, what is mentioned in "Matthew 26:13" from the words of Christ about the woman who poured perfume at his feet: "Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her."
Indeed, the "Paulian Epistles" that were written in the second half of the first century speak in many texts about the "Gospel of Christ", and do not mention anything about the four gospels, as none of them were written during the life of "Paul", as he was killed in
the year "62 AD", while Christian investigators believe that "Mark" wrote his gospel - which is the oldest of the gospels - in the year "65 AD", and as for "Paul", he mentioned the "Gospel of Christ" more than once in his letters, such as what he mentioned in his letter to the people of "Galatians 1:6-8", and his first letter to the people of "Corinthians 9:12-14".
All these texts are conclusive of the existence of the “Gospel of Christ,” not as some claim that it does not exist; because they claim that “Christ” is the Lord who reveals, not the one to whom revelation is revealed. These mentioned texts invalidate what they claim about the non-existence of the “Gospel of Christ” and that he is the Lord. Rather, they prove that Christ is
a servant and messenger who preached the Gospel that he was sent with from God, and in which the disciples believed.
Just to clarify,
we are talking here about a written gospel and not about a gospel as some inventors claim
. Matthew 26:13 Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.
We are talking here about a written gospel, for Christ said (by this gospel)
that from Jerusalem and around as far as Illyricum I have completed the preaching of the gospel of Christ. And I was careful to preach where the name of Christ was not yet known, lest I build on the foundation laid by someone else, but as it is written, those who have not been preached about Him will see, and those who have not heard will understand. (Romans 15/19-21)
In this text, he is talking about the gospel of Christ, and he says that he completed the preaching of it from Jerusalem to Illyricum, and he says that he was careful to preach in places where Christ had not been preached about Him, lest I build on the foundation laid by someone else. Then he cited a text from the Old Testament as it is written! If we consider that the Gospel of Christ means a special book, why was this book lost and not preserved, especially since Paul does not mean the four Gospels in this text because they were written decades after his letters?
And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ. (Romans 15/29)
In this text, Paul repeats the talk about the Gospel of Christ that will go in the fullness of its blessing to Rome. However, the Gospel of Christ that Paul went in the fullness of its blessing to Rome is not present, so where did this Gospel disappear to?
We also notice that the word Gospel in the text has disappeared from the second Arabic version and the English version!
What is the reason that made the publishers delete the word Gospel in the second and third versions or write it in the first version?
If we have sown for you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap from you carnal things? If others share in the power over you, are we not the more so? But we have not used this power, but bear all things lest we hinder the Gospel of Christ. (1 Corinthians 9:11-12)
In this text, and in the whole chapter, Paul defends himself before those who criticized him from the early disciples, including Peter, for taking a wife and relying on his followers to manage his livelihood, food, drink and clothing. He says that these things were his right if he had done them, but he did not use this right so as not to create an obstacle to the Gospel of Christ. Here, he may mean by the Gospel of Christ the linguistic meaning, which is preaching about Christ, or he may mean a special book. If he means preaching about Christ, then this means that the disciples, including Peter, were not satisfied with the way he preached about Christ! But if he means a special book, which is a Gospel of Christ that he had, then the question that arises here is why did these disciples, and the churches after them, put obstacles in the way of the Gospel of Christ that Paul had and were eventually able to hide it from the people? What
is my reward, since while I preach the Gospel of Christ I make it free of charge, so that I did not use my authority in the Gospel? (1 Corinthians 9:18)
This text talks about the Gospel of Christ that Paul preached without pay. What is this Gospel? He certainly did not mean the four Gospels. Why did the churches not keep this Gospel?
But when I came to Troas for the Gospel of Christ and a door was opened to me in the Lord, I had no rest in my spirit because I did not find Titus my brother. (2 Corinthians 2:12-13)
From this text we understand that Paul was preaching the Gospel of Christ and that doors were opened for him because of that. So where is this Gospel and why did the churches hide it and not keep it as they kept the four Gospels?
Because by experiencing this service they glorify God for your obedience to confessing the Gospel of Christ and the generosity of distribution to them and to everyone. (2 Corinthians 9/13)
In this chapter and from it this text Paul calls his followers from the Corinthians to donate to the saints in Jerusalem, and he says that they will glorify God for these donations because they are evidence of their obedience to the Gospel of Christ. This confirms the existence of a special Gospel for Christ other than the four Gospels because they had not been written at the time Paul wrote this letter. So why did the churches not keep the Gospel of Christ that bore witness to the Corinthians about their obedience?!
Because we do not extend ourselves as if we do not reach you, since we have also reached you in the Gospel of Christ, ....
to preach to those beyond you. (2 Corinthians 10/14-16)
In this text, Paul talks about the Gospel of Christ that he used to reach his followers. Why did the churches not keep the Gospel of Christ that Paul used to reach his followers? I am amazed that you are turning away so quickly from him who called you in the grace of Christ to another Gospel.
However , there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we preached to you, let him be accursed, as we said before. Now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you received, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1/6-9) In this text, we read a talk about the Gospel of Christ that some are trying to convert or, as in the second version, distort it and turn the Galatians away to another Gospel, which is not a Gospel, as Paul says! He is talking about the disciples of Christ because after this text he begins to narrate the facts of his relationship with them and considers himself equal to them and how he presented his own gospel to them... etc. In this text he considers that the gospel of Christ that he preaches is the true gospel and that everything else is not a gospel, so why did the churches not keep the gospel of Christ that Paul considers that whoever does not preach it is cursed? Just live as is worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand firm in one spirit, striving together with one mind for the faith of the gospel. (Philippians 1:27) In this text Paul confirms the existence of a gospel of Christ that is not the four known, so where is the gospel of Christ and why did the churches not keep it? Therefore, since we could no longer endure, we thought it good to be left alone in Athens. So we sent Timothy, our brother and servant of God and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, that he might establish you and exhort you for your faith. (1 Thessalonians 3:1-2) In this text there is another talk about the gospel of Christ, so where is this gospel? And you who are troubled, rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his powerful angels, in flames, taking vengeance on those who do not know the Lord and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8) This is another text about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the question that arises is why did the churches not keep the Gospel of Christ that was with Paul and kept the four Gospels that were written decades after him, two of which were written by his disciples Mark and Luke?!
For the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it is in the whole world, and is bearing fruit, as it is in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth. (Colossians 1:5-6)
In this text, Paul says that the word of truth is preserved in the gospel. If the four gospels have not yet been written, what gospel is Paul talking about, and why did the churches not preserve the gospel that contains the word of truth that Paul was preaching?
Which I would have kept with me, that he might serve me in your stead in the bonds of the gospel. (Philemon:13)
So what gospel is Paul talking about in this paragraph, and he certainly does not mean the four gospels, and why did the churches not preserve the gospel for which Paul was bound?
So what is it to me that I am ready to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. (Romans 1:15)
In this text, Paul says that he wants to preach the gospel to the people of Rome. What is this gospel, and why did the churches not preserve the gospel that he was preaching with eagerness?
Because of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now. (Philippians 1:5)
In this text, Paul says to his followers from the Philippians that he always remembers them in his prayers and supplications because of their participation with him in spreading the gospel. If the four gospels were not written yet at this time, which gospel did the Philippians contribute to spreading, and why did the churches not keep it?
I have the right to think this about all of you, because I keep you in my heart, in my bonds, in the defense of the gospel and in its confirmation, you are all partakers of my grace. (Philippians 1:7)
So where is this gospel that the Philippians defend, as Paul says, and the four gospels had not yet been written, since they were written dozens of years later, as is known??
John 2:22 says,
“When he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.”
we are talking here about a written gospel and not about a gospel as some inventors claim
. Matthew 26:13 Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.
