With foreign links: Professor ((John Boswell)) Saints Bacchus and Sergius were homosexuals!
A necessary introduction
The controversy has recently intensified in Christian religious circles around the world due to the worsening laxity of the priestly position of the major sects towards the increasing cases of homosexuality, not only among the congregation of the churches but also at the level of priests and pastors, reaching the level of the Archbishops after the appointment of the first bishop who openly declared his homosexual relationship as head of his bishopric in the United States of America in 2003 AD, which sparked more controversy again by announcing last June on television his ecclesiastical union with his partner in homosexuality.
Last week alone, the German media reported that the Pope had dismissed a priest from his priestly position and expelled him from the church after it was proven that he was involved in “blessing” a gay marriage contract inside the church itself, declaring them husband and wife!
The issue of homosexuality infiltrating the churches of the Anglican sect affiliated with the British crown has also been burning since this church split into several warring factions between the far right, the center, and the left. Some welcome homosexuality and even ordain gay and lesbian priests and give them the highest church ranks, as is the case on the American front of the Anglicans there, passing through a “moderate” trend that tries to play both sides, represented by the position of the mother church in Canterbury, Britain, and ending with affiliated churches in Africa, especially Nigeria, where the Anglicans there threaten annually to separate and form their own sect because of their “hardline” position opposing homosexuality and the integration of homosexuals into the ranks of the parish.

More fuel on the fire
Away from the huge file of Anglican schisms and the collapse of their church on the backsides of their homosexual priests, the American state of California had hammered the third biggest “knife” into the coffin of Western Christianization after its courts announced in late June that homosexuals would be allowed to marry civilly and ecclesiastically in a “marriage relationship,” thus becoming the third American state to recognize deviant forms of these corrupt marriages, thus turning things upside down and the picture even more so.
Thus, the pace of church schisms accelerated as many state churches , in accordance with the new law, opened their doors to receive dozens of homosexuals and lesbians and held their marriages with the “blessing of Jesus Christ” in front of the “holy altar” and the cross!!
The American missionary scene in particular was divided into supporters and opponents, while each group pelted the other with texts from their holy books, the Gospels, and the lives of those whom Christians call “saints,” as part of each group’s protest against their opponents with what it finds in the holy texts and the biographies of the great early church fathers.

The lightning topic
In the context of all the above developments in the controversy that is raging among Christian churches in the West and the churches that follow them in the Third World, comes this topic published on an American media site [ source ], under the title (( Gay Marriage and Christianity: Not Always in Contradiction )), and the topic opens more wounds and explodes all the exclamation and question marks over the heads of Christians themselves before Muslims and others.
The editor begins his topic with a statement from the greatest Western authority specializing in the history of homosexuality in Christianity, Professor John Boswell, the well-known historian at the prestigious American Yale University and former professor of the Department of History there, who confirms that the institution of marriage between homosexuals was a fashion in the early Christian era , but it is returning today with force to add a new page to its history, according to the expression of the academic professor.
The subject refers to Professor Boswell's assertion that the early Christians were - with the blessing of the great church popes - accepting of homosexual marriage patterns. The professor even asserts that they went so far as to decorate their churches and monasteries with plaster representations of males "in intimate relations"!!
Early Christians, including the Pope, were so cool with same-sex committed relationships, they even adorned their churches with frescoes of sweet man love.
Saint Catherine's Monastery [ From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ]
Saint Catherine's Monastery is located in South Sinai, Egypt, at the foot of Mount Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt, near Mount Moses. It is said to be the oldest monastery in the world, and is a major tourist attraction, visited by tourist groups from all over the world . It is a retreat run by monks from the Greek Orthodox Church who do not speak Arabic, as they are neither Egyptians nor Arabs, and the monastery is not affiliated with the Patriarchate of Alexandria, but rather they are of Greek origin, although the guardianship of the monastery was for long periods for the Russian Orthodox Church.
The monastery has a rare collection of icons and holy pictures , which is considered the greatest and richest collection of its kind in the whole world. It also surpasses in terms of quantity, quality, type and artistic styles other holy pictures and icons in other Egyptian monasteries. Its number is about 2,000 pictures and icons from different historical eras, and it represents one of the distinctive aspects of the religious rituals of the Orthodox Church.
A picture of the scandalous news, which contains an icon of the saints from St. Catherine's Monastery.
But what is the relationship between homosexual coupling and male-male marriage to this sacred icon whose image dominates the American issue and to which Professor John Boswell refers?
Christians should now prepare for the catastrophe, as Boswell confirms that the icon - which is an imaginary image captured by the painter's brush - contains signs and symbols in the drawing that symbolize the holding of a wedding ceremony / marriage of ((Saint Sergius)) with his lover and lifelong friend ((Saint Bacchus))!!
This reading of the icon is supported by the discoveries of ancient church writings that recorded the biographies of both saints, whose lines clearly stated a marriage relationship that brought the saints together in a sacred bond like the one that brings together a man and a woman in the traditional institution of marriage.
We will return to these ancient writings later in this post, but let us first pause a little and discuss the personality of these two ((saints)) who are highly revered in Christianity before passing by the scandalous icon and stopping at it carefully.

Sergius and Bacchus in women's clothing, why?
If you browse the dictionary of the Church Fathers and Saints included on the website of the Tanta Diocese and its dependencies / the scientific family of Pope Kyrollos, affiliated with the Egyptian Orthodox Church, you will find the following about the saints:
The Coptic Church commemorates Saint Sergius (Abu Serga) on the 10th of Babah, and Saint Bacchus or Bacchus on the 4th of Babah every year. In ancient Egypt, there is an ancient church named after Saint Sergius, called the Church of Abu Serga, which contains the ancient cave under the Qibli Temple, where the Holy Family fled . Saint Severus of Antioch gave us an article (57) about these two martyrs, which the late Deacon Youssef Habib translated and published in 1969. Before Maximianus, the two young men, Sergius, the commander of the Roman army in the region of Syria and the worker in the military school, and his assistant Bacchus (Bacchus), stood before Maximianus the tyrant, Diocletian’s partner and instigator against the Christians, bearing witness to the Lord Christ and refusing to offer incense to idols, for he had summoned them for this purpose. At first he treated them kindly, and took them as his friends to the Temple of Jupiter, where a table of meat sacrificed to idols was offered. He asked them to share the table with him, but they refused steadfastly. Then he ordered that they be stripped of the medals on their chests and that they be led through the city market dressed as women to break their spirits…
At the beginning of the fourth century, during the reign of Diocletian Augustus in the East, the tenth great persecution of Christianity, the last of its magnitude, took place, encouraged by his Caesar Galerius, who began persecuting his Christian soldiers before the persecution was officially declared. He killed a large number of them upon his victorious return from the Persian War. Among these officers were Sergius and Bacchus, whom the governor insulted and dressed in women’s clothing to mock them . Bacchus was martyred first, followed by Sergius after he suffered the torture of hot iron spikes nailed to his shoes and forced to walk long distances with them. They were martyred in the Euphrates province, so the nearby city was later called Sergiopolis in their honor (Rusafa). A luxurious church was built in their name, which was famous especially among the Arab Christians who used to make pilgrimages to it for many ages .
It is of particular importance because of the martyrdom of Saint Sergius in it, so the city became an important pilgrimage site for Christians in Syria and its surroundings. It was named Sergius (from the Greek - city of Sergius) in honor of the remains of the two martyr saints Sergius and Bacchus, who refused to offer sacrifices to the Roman gods and abandon Christianity in 305 AD [ source ].
In the book (( The Synaxarium according to the rite of the Antiochian Maronite Church )) we read under the entry ((Serkis and Bacchus
)):
The martyrs Sergius (Sergius) and Bacchus: They were among the nobles of the Roman Empire and its most loyal soldiers. They were victorious in the war waged by the Romans against the Persians in the year 297, so King Maximianus made them members of his court. On the day of the feast of idols in the city of Augustia in northern Syria, the king invited them to participate in this celebration, but they refused, declaring that they were Christians and that their religion forbade them from offering sacrifices to idols that were nothing but deaf stones from which no good could be expected. The king became angry and ordered that their badges of honor be removed and that they be dressed in women’s clothes in mockery and derision .
The emperor was extremely angry, and immediately ordered that their robes, rings, and all signs of high status be removed from them, and that they be dressed in women's clothing . Then they put chains around their necks and led them through the city to be mocked and ridiculed.
If this talk was true about the Roman arts of torture and killing, this would have extended to the person crucified in the Christian Gospels, whom they believe to be the Messiah, peace be upon him, according to their claim, and we would have read in their holy books about Jesus dressing in women’s clothing, especially since the Roman soldiers were taunting and mocking the crucified person [Luke 23:35]. So why did the Romans forget the harshest means of mocking the crucified person in the midst of the crowds of spectators, as they did not dress him in women’s clothing, while they tore his clothes and stripped him according to the confession of the Gospel accounts [Matthew 27:28]?
Why do we only hear about Saints Sergius and Bacchus in women’s clothing? Also, why do we not find them in the aforementioned sources and the rest of the Christian dictionaries and encyclopedias except with the first linked to the name of the second, never separated from it, like the linking of Adam to Eve?
Two icons in the head!
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in English, under the entry Saints Sergius and Bacchus, we find the icon - published in the American media website's article - of the saints accused of homosexuality, and we read the following text in English:
Sergius and Bacchus's close relationship has led many modern commenters to believe they were lovers. The most popular evidence for this view is that the oldest #### of their martyrology, in the Greek language, describes them as “erastai”, or lovers.
Yale historian John Boswell considers their relationship to be an example of an early Christian same-sex union, reflecting his contested view of tolerant early Christians attitudes toward homosexuality.
The artist Robert Lentz advocated this view, portraying the men as a gay couple in his religious iconography painting.
The close relationship between Sergius and Bacchus has led many modern biblical scholars to believe that they were lovers. The most popular evidence for this view is the oldest written Greek text from the official Martyrology of ####### which describes the saints as " lovers" [according to a Greek word that clearly conveys this meaning].
Yale University historian John Boswell considers the relationship [between Saints Sergius and Bacchus] an example of same-sex unions in early Christian society , a statement that reflects a disputed view of what the historian calls the tolerant attitudes of early Christians toward the issue of homosexuality.
The painter Roberts Lintz defended this point of view by drawing the two men [Sergius and Bacchus] as a homosexual couple in his painting , which is considered one of the sacred religious icons [among Christians today, especially in the Arab region ].
Icon of Littens: Gay Coupling Logo!
This is the link to the painting on the Wikipedia page, and now this is the icon of the same artist on the Arab Christian websites. Take from it, for example, but not limited to:
But you do not find the same icon in the most important Christian icon site , nor in some other icon exhibitions on Christian sites such as this site, for example, nor in the site of the Church that Desecrated the Soil of the State of Qatar, which confirms that Christians are in great embarrassment and avoid that scandalous icon despite their common people sanctifying it without knowing its truth!!
Regarding the importance of this icon and its status and others among Christians, it is necessary to read their writings on this subject. Take, for example, what His Grace Bishop Raphael wrote under the title (( Reflections on the Ritual of the Consecration of the Icon )):
The veneration of icons in our Orthodox Church is based on the most important doctrine in which we believe , and which has a direct impact on the issue of our salvation, which is the doctrine of the incarnation of God and His real presence among us . When we venerate icons, we are demonstrating our faith in the truth of the incarnation and human nature of our Lord Jesus Christ .
1- Consecration is dedication, i.e. sanctification and dedication to God... So, after its consecration, the icon becomes a holy tool for declaring the presence of God through the action of the Holy Spirit; therefore, it must be honored, incense burned before it, and kissed with all reverence.
2- The consecration ritual is performed by the bishop and no one else.
3- In the prayer that the bishop prays to consecrate the icon, he mentions the scriptural and theological basis for making icons...
Therefore, the Church considers the consecration of the icon a blessing and glorification of the Holy Name of God ... For when the faithful look at the dignity and glory of the saints, their eyes are raised to heaven to glorify and bless the name of God. Glory be to you in all the saints of God.
It is a port of salvation and a stable harbor for every weary soul in the turbulent sea of the world that disturbs our peace and security, and threatens us with drowning in sin, problems and worldly worries.. So the soul turns to the icons of the saints to see in them the rays of divine light.. and sees in them the inspiration of victory and purity [!!], so the soul is encouraged and ascends to the heavens, holding on to the hope of glory, looking to the leader of faith and its perfecter, the Lord Jesus.
The danger of these icons increases when reading what Archimandrite Panteleimon Farah wrote , where he admits, saying under the title “Theology of the Orthodox Icon” [ source ]:
It is natural to bow down to an icon in reverence . Respecting and honoring an icon brings thousands of blessings to the faithful:
- The icon is a book for those who cannot read . It reminds us of the whole history of salvation, of God’s work and of the mysteries of His divine plan.
- It is a silent teaching to imitate the example of the saints [underline this phrase a million times].
-It is a channel for the outpouring of divine graces. It is a link to grace and through it and through which God distributes His favors and gifts to us. It shares, in a way, the power and goodness of the first model which it represents. We can say that divine grace and divine action reside and dwell in the icon as they do in the holy relics.
The saints from their life on earth were filled with the Holy Spirit and after their death the divine grace in the Holy Spirit did not depart from their souls, nor from their bodies in the graves, nor from their holy icons. Not because it accompanies them essentially, but because through them the blessings work.

Painter before icon
If a Christian says that the icon is sacred regardless of the intentions of the painter, or that icons are not about intentions, and therefore the intentions or ideas of the painter Lintz in depicting the perversion of Sergius and Bacchus are not important to him, then I dedicate to this Christian among the common people this article establishing the status of the icon and the one who paints it so that he may contemplate, may God guide him, the following paragraph from this great Christian website for Christians of the East [ Church Forums ] under the title ((How to Read the Coptic Icon)) we read:
Of course, ritually, the icon has its importance in churches and many miracles have occurred from it, the most famous of which was when the mother of Saint Marmina stood before the icon of the Virgin Mary to ask for a son, and suddenly the Virgin Mary’s compassionate voice came to her, “Amen” from the icon, and we all stand before the icon, praying devoutly and lighting candles, but have we ever contemplated the icon and learned the rules of how to draw the icon? Today, Lord, I can help you by explaining the art of Coptic icons.
First: The one who draws the icon must have a high spiritual level, and after prayer and guidance he draws the icon because the icon here is a doctrine or verses from the Holy Bible or the biography of a saint, but in colors and not words, so it must be drawn correctly. I heard a story about Pope Shenouda that when he saw an icon in which there was the hypostasis of the Father, and the artist had drawn him as an old man, and the hypostasis of the Son in the image of a young man, Pope Shenouda commented that this icon was Arian because it depicted the Father as advanced in time over the Son, and this is a theological error because the Son is equal to the Father in essence and has been with Him from eternity to eternity…
What if I told you that Catholic and Orthodox Christians believe that the souls of saints are present with them through these icons that they have depicted for them? Read what is stated in “ The Shepherd’s Word ” issued by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Byblos and Batroun [ Sunday, March 16, 2008, Issue 11]:
Icons are placed in churches first because the saints are present with us in worship and we incense them as we incense the faithful. They and the angels share in the service with us. We place them in homes because the family is a small church as the Bible says.
The icon is the symbol of Christian homosexuals.
These are foreign Christian websites that celebrate the homosexuality of saints and openly declare it as an accepted fact, raising the icon of the painter Leitner as their slogan:
The last site is for the Franciscan Christians who support homosexuals, where they put up an icon of the painter Leitner on the front page and acknowledged on the introduction page the “Mission of Saint Sergius” with the following text in English, very clearly:
Mission St. Sergius has as his primary goal “to foster a spirit of community and fellowship among gay Catholics so that.”
They can offer and receive mutual support in living our lives of faith with the Church. (Cardinal Roger Mahoney, (2-
2-86).
It is no wonder that a priestly organization has emerged that makes these two “saints” a symbol for all deviant Christians and operates under their names, which are always linked, as they are linked in most of the icons that depict them. This is the title of this new priestly organization and its website:
Regarding the tasks of this sacred organization, we read this explicit confession in its original English text:
The United Order of Saints Sergius and Bacchus has an open and accepting attitude towards homosexuality. While welcoming all seekers after Truth, we have a special mission to spiritual seekers of same-sex orientation.
Also, don't miss the icon of the painter Leitner, which has become an icon for homosexual Christian marriage!! See a picture from the front page of the priestly organization's website:
The United Community of Saints Sergius and Bacchus on Homosexuality!
This is the site of an apostolic Catholic church in the name of Saints Sergius and Bacchus that has obeyed the Pope of the Vatican to open its doors wide to welcome all Catholic Christians, gays and lesbians. Also, do not be surprised if you see the Linz icon that has become the banner of this gay church.
This is a blog specialized in monitoring homosexuals and lesbians among Christian saints throughout history, where we see the Letnes icon again on a page dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus:
Thus, the icons of saints are transformed into a symbol for Christian deviants. Here are the new “People of Lot” who have begun to wear these icons on their shirts, declaring their immorality and debauchery in Western societies:
These discovered icons are not the only thing that this group of Christians who confirm the perversion of the saints have. Father Antoine Malki wrote a long article entitled “An Orthodox Position on Homosexuality” in which he admitted the following [ source link ]:
During our research, we came across a webpage whose owners call themselves Orthodox from the Greek Church of North America. They embrace the call of the Orthodox Church to bless homosexual and lesbian relationships [ 17 ]. They base their argument on the verses we mentioned earlier from Ruth 1 and 2 and others such as verse 11:4 from Ecclesiastes: “If two lie together, they will have warmth; but how can one alone keep warm?” They go on to interpret as they please, adding some quotations as follows, taken from the first passage in Enos, the Feast of Saints Sergius and Bacchus (October 7): “Bound not by a natural relationship, but by a faith.” They interpret the lack of a natural relationship as an indication that the saints had a different kind of relationship, and conclude that it was a homosexual relationship.
- Greek Orthodox Church in North America Calls for Blessing of Gay and Lesbian Relationships
- The followers of this church based their beliefs on passages from the Bible.
Returning to the subject of the investigation published on the American media website for which I opened this blog post, the most important thing that came in it is this paragraph:
This is another site that confirms the existence of this manuscript with these phrases:
Recent attention to Greek manuscripts has also revealed that they were openly gay men and that they were erastai, or lovers. The manuscripts are found in various libraries in Europe and indicate an earlier Christian attitude toward homosexuality…
The feast of these saints is October 7…
For nearly a thousand years they were the official patrons of the Byzantine armies, and Christian Arabs continue to revere them as their special patron saints.
Returning to the scandalous manuscript, it was fully translated into English by the aforementioned Professor Boswell, who is considered a reference in the perversion of Christian saints, both male and female, and who specialized in it academically, so that his name, writings, and scientific research will be mentioned by every researcher and student of this subject. Here is the link to the full translation of the manuscript.
But are there other Christian saints who were known for homosexuality or were married to each other in corrupt marriages? Are there female saints who were married to each other in a ((holy)) lesbian relationship? The answer, unfortunately, from Arab Christians, if they were fair and investigated well, is that yes, it is as big as homosexuality today in their degenerate societies. And there is nothing more eloquent than this calendar/calendar that the Christians who perform homosexuality have created to remember the male and female saints who are homosexuals, and not only that, but also those who have transformed from male to female or vice versa, who are called ((the third gender))!! That is, a saint and an effeminate!! Or a tomboyish saint!! I seek refuge in God from the misguidance and immorality of Christians!
Today, with the publication of this blog post on August 28, I found it dedicated to the celebration of the feast of Saint Augustine, who is considered ((one of the most important influential figures in Western Christianity. The Catholic and Anglican churches consider him a saint, one of the prominent church fathers, and the patron saint of the Augustinian monastic order. Many Protestants, especially Calvinists, consider him one of the theological sources of the Protestant Reformation teachings on grace and salvation. Some Orthodox churches, such as the Coptic Orthodox Church, consider him a saint, while others consider him a heretic because of his views on the issue of emanation)) [ Wikipedia ].
The Christian Calendar page indicated Augustine's confession of his homosexuality, based on church documents that were revealed and mentioned in Western encyclopedias. The calendar published it in full, translated into English, with the book number and part number, for those who wanted documentation about the truth of the greatest priestly figure after Paul in the history of Christianity. The beauty of the calendar is that it refers you to the links to the Christian reference sites approved by the major sects so that you do not have the slightest doubt about the issue regarding what the church fathers hid in their references and concealed from the ((sheep of ####) and the misguided Christian common people.
The famous historian Will Durant, author of The Story of Civilization , says about the book Confessions written by Augustine:
He himself said - after he reached the age of sixty-four and became a bishop - that the old erotic image [meaning his homosexual relations] , “ is still alive in my memory, rushing into my thoughts… It comes to me in my sleep not only to please me but it may even lead me to accept it and agree to it and like to bring it out of thought into action ” (87).
“ If what Adam needed was medical companionship, it would have been much better to have been arranged by two men living as friends than by a man and a woman .”
