Responding to the allegation of similarity between the birth of Mithras and the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him

 The claimant says:

The god Mithras was born under a tree and emerged from a rock near a flowing river. This is similar to the story of the Qur’an
about the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) , relying on the noble Qur’anic verses from Surat Maryam : “And the pangs of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, ‘Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten.’” (23) Then he called to her from beneath her, “Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.” (24) The first response : In the Noble Qur’an, we say that our master Jesus was born under a palm tree and from a woman, the Virgin Mary, and not from a rock. Second: Our Master Jesus is not a god, but rather a human being and a messenger from God Almighty - and there is no Muslim who says that he is God or resembles God. There is also an addition, which is that Mithras was born in a cave and not under a tree or near a river, as the liar claims in his book. More on the sources for this lie will follow.

 

This hypocrite cites Joseph Campbell's book,
one of the liars who claim to fight Islam,

and he mentions that the source is on page 260 of Campbell's book.

But let's come to what Campbell wrote.

Mithras was born near the sacred tree and the sacred river!!!
Apparently emerging from the rock!!
Holding a torch in one hand and a knife in the other!!!
So where is the similarity to the story of Jesus Christ in the Holy Quran!!!!
There is no sacred tree or river!!!
There is no child emerging from a rock and there are no
things in his hands or such nonsense.
By what right was the comparison made??!!
And Christ was a human and a messenger from God
. Mithras believed that he was a god!
So where is the similarity??!!
And let's not forget that the early Christians accused the Mithraists
of stealing from their beliefs
....
The most important question
is, did our master Muhammad meet one of the Mithraists or know about them??
Did he learn about their beliefs???
I challenge anyone to answer or provide us with evidence for this. The Mithraic religion became extinct hundreds of years
before Islam and was replaced by Christianity. So how did Muslims know about Mithraism???

we see that there are differences and ambiguity about the Mithraic religion,
