in the region of the Gerasenes (or the Gerasenes or the Gergesenes), so Jesus ordered the demons to leave him and enter a herd of pigs that were grazing nearby (2000 pigs),
so the pigs rushed to a cliff located on the Sea of ​​Galilee and jumped from it into the sea and drowned.

It is clear from the encyclopedia that they are trying to suggest that the region of the Gadarenes is the same as the region of the Gergesenes, which is not true. They ignored the third name mentioned in the story, which is the region of the Gerasenes. This is the way of the people.

Where are the regions of the Gadarenes and the Gerasenes located?
They are located southeast of the Sea of ​​Galilee, i.e. not directly on the sea, and this represents one of the problems in the story. How
did the pigs fall into the sea, and the region of the Gadarenes is about six miles (ten kilometers) from the Sea of ​​Galilee?

. Who put the name of the town of the Gergesenes in the text of Matthew?
The one who put it in the text of the Gospel of Matthew is the Christian scholar Origen, a theologian from the third century AD.

Origen found that the regions of the Gadarenes and Gerasenes were not directly located on the Sea of ​​Galilee, so he chose a town that was actually located on the shore, which is the town of Gergesa.

It is very clear that the distances between the regions of the Gadarenes, Gerasenes, and Gergeses are many miles, and the difference in the texts here has no meaning except distortion or error.
For example, if a certain incident occurred in Alexandria, it is of no use for one witness to say that it occurred in the Apis region and the other in Amiriya, and is it all Alexandria!!
Because the argument that defenders of the Bible hum around is that the regions are close to each other, so what about them being ten or fifteen miles apart, for example?
Or the Encyclopedia of the Bible says that the reason is that Matthew wrote to the Jews who knew their country well, the name of the village in which the miracle occurred, while Luke and Mark wrote
to the Gentiles, so they were satisfied with mentioning the name of the region in which the village was located!! To answer this statement (which is any statement), review the table again, then ask them whether the town of the Gergesenes
is located in the region of the Gadarenes or the region of the Gerasenes? Review the maps again to know the locations of all.
Another question, why after Origen put the name of the Gergesenes in Matthew, do some translations of Matthew (the common and Catholic) mention the Gadarenes? Wasn’t Matthew
writing to the Jews who knew the name of the village?

Finally, an answer to every Christian who asks about who distorted the Gospel and when? This is an example of a clear distortion of the name and time (Origen in the third century).

and there is no phrase (“I adjure you by God”) in the other texts.
If Christ is God incarnate, why does he adjure him by God
? Is this the word of God????
