, the best of creators
in this verse?!!
The most important thing, as some confused people have cited, is that this verse indicates the Trinity, and that God is one of three, because when you say: God is the best of creators , it is as if you said: So-and-so is the best of workers, and so-and-so must be one of the workers, and workers is a plural word, and the minimum plural in Arabic is three, and it is as if you said: So-and-so is one and better than three, and this is correct from a linguistic perspective, and the verse does not contradict this linguistic meaning, yes: God is the best of creators, so God is One, Individual, Eternal, and better than all creators, and is there anyone who creates other than God? Yes, there are those who create other than God, and they are many. The Arabic language is the language of the Qur’an, the Hebrew language is the language of the Torah, and the Syriac Aramaic language is the language of the Bible. In the past, they had one language, the mother Semitic language, which was spoken by Shem, son of Noah, peace be upon them, and after them, our master Abraham. These languages, in which the heavenly books were revealed, use the verb “to create” and the verb “to originate.” The verb “to create” means: to bring something into existence from elements present on earth, while the verb “to originate” means: to bring something into existence from nothing.
Accordingly, every maker is a creator, but the one who brings into existence from nothing is only God, the Creator.
“So blessed be God, the best of creators.” The end of a long verse that talks about the development of human creation, then the verse is concluded by the Almighty saying: So blessed be God, the best of creators. We return to the question again, is there anyone who creates humans other than God? Yes, and in our present age it is called (cloning).
Cloning is the creation of a human being by another human being from elements present on earth. How?
God’s creation is known , from male and female. The man has the sperm, and the woman has the egg.
As for the creation of man (cloning) from a female only without a male, how is that? He takes the woman’s egg and then fertilizes the egg with a living cell from the woman’s body, such as a skin cell, for example.
The result of God’s creation: a male or female fetus, nine months old from the date of fertilization, with very strong immunity.
The result of the creation of man (cloning): only a female, a duplicate of the mother, with very weak immunity, her age is the same as the mother’s age, I mean: if the mother is thirty years old, the fetus’ tissues will also be thirty years old.
It is known that the first clone on earth was Dolly the sheep.
If we make a comparison between God’s creation and man’s creation, we will say: Blessed be God, the best of creators, because God’s creation includes populating the earth, unlike cloning, which destroys life.
The logical question here is, why did God give this science to the European and American world, because it is a message from the Lord of the servants, which is: If you now believe and see it with your own eyes that a human being can (through cloning) create a fetus from a female only, then how can you not believe that God is able to create Jesus, peace be upon him, from Mary only?
Was the revelation only sent down to the Messenger of Islam?
Certainly the revelation was sent down to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and we have not heard anyone claim otherwise... Otherwise, let him bring us evidence... If Allah decrees for someone to agree with a word of revelation, then it is a blessing and light from Allah for him... This is called in the reasons for revelation the agreements, meaning the companions' agreement with the revelation... as happened with Omar ibn al-Khattab...
Then with our definition of revelation, the debate over this question ends... Revelation is what Allah inspires to a prophet, establishing it in his heart, so he speaks it and writes it down, and it is the word of Allah. There is also what he does not speak about or write for anyone, nor does he command it to be written down, but he speaks it to the people and explains to them that Allah commanded him to explain it to the people and convey it to them.
Is "Blessed be Allah, the best of creators" the saying of Abdullah ibn Abi Sarh???
Certainly not... it is not his saying... it is the saying of Allah the Almighty... and this news is not authentic from Abdullah bin Abi Sarh... and it is authentic from others... Also, if Allah the Almighty decreed for a man to coincide with a verse of revelation, it does not mean that something was revealed to him, for revelation has its signs and does not come according to the amount of a verse and then stop... and what happened may have been a lure and a test from Allah the Almighty.
Then this verse specifically was revealed to the Messenger of Allah and was written before the companion uttered it, as will be detailed later ... so perhaps the companion would succeed in saying it, and it was revealed but did not reach him yet... then he would mention it to the Messenger, and the Prophet would inform him that it was indeed revealed as a Quran to be recited.
Al-Qurtubi and the reasons for revelation say the opposite of what you said:
The reason for that, according to what the commentators mentioned, is that when the verse in “Al-Mu’minun” was revealed: “And We have certainly created man from an extract of clay” [Al-Mu’minun: 12], the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, called him and dictated it to him; When he reached the words, “Then We created him as another creation ” [Al-Mu’minun: 14], Abdullah was amazed at the details of the creation of man, so he said, “Blessed be Allah, the best of creators.” So we see that the Messenger of Islam finished dictating the verse to: “Then We created him as another creation.” After Abdullah was amazed and said, “
Then Blessed be Allah, the best of creators,” it was added to the Qur’an . This is what Al-Razi narrated in his interpretation: It was also narrated that Abdullah bin Saad bin Abi Sarh used to write the revelation for the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. When the words, “ And We have certainly created {Man is from an extract of clay } [Al-Mu'minun: 12] dictated by the Messenger, peace be upon him. When he reached the words: {Then We produced him as another creation}, Abdullah was amazed by him and said: Blessed be Allah, the best of creators! The Messenger said: “This is how the verse was revealed.” Abdullah remained silent and said: If Muhammad is truthful, then it was revealed to me, and if he is lying, then I have contradicted him. This is what is meant by his words: {I will send down the like of what He sent down}. But what is more amazing is that he used to write whatever he wanted, and this is what was mentioned in the Seerah and Al-Tabari: He used to write for the Prophet, peace be upon him, and among what he dictated was “ Mighty, Wise ,” so he would write “ Forgiving, Merciful .” Then he would change it, then he would read to him such and such for what he had changed, and he would say: “Yes, it is the same.” So we see that Abdullah was writing other than what the Messenger of Islam dictated to him , and he would even write whatever he wanted, according to Abdullah’s saying: “I will write for him whatever I want, and thank you.”

Firstly , to prove that the one who agreed with the revelation of this verse is not Abdullah bin Abi Sarh.
Three narrations have been mentioned regarding the verse “So blessed be Allah, the best of creators” ... and all of them were mentioned by the commentators.
A story says that it was said by Omar Ibn Al-Khattab... and this is correct... [1]
Another one says that it was said by Muadh bin Jabal ...and this is not true.
And the third one believes that the one who said it is: Abdullah bin Abi Sarh ... and this is a lie.
Al-Qurtubi, may God have mercy on him, says in his interpretation, Volume 7, p. 40:
The reason for this, as mentioned by the commentators, is that when the verse in “Al-Mu’minun” was revealed: {And We have certainly created man from an extract of clay} [Al-Mu’minun: 12], the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, called him and dictated it to him. When he reached the verse {Then We produced him as another creation} [Al-Mu’minun: 14], Abdullah was amazed at the details of man’s creation and said: { Blessed be God, the best of creators } [Al-Mu’minun: 14]. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “And this is how it was revealed to me.” Abdullah then doubted and said: If Muhammad is truthful, then revelation has been sent down to him, and if he is lying, then I have said as he said. He turned away from Islam and joined the polytheists. This is what Allah said: {And whoever says, “I will send down the like of what Allah has sent down”} narrated by Al-Kalbi on the authority of Ibn Abbas.
This narration that Al-Qurtubi, may God have mercy on him, mentioned... is not correct because its narrator, Al-Kalbi... admitted that he lied in it:
Al-Kalbi himself admitted that... as Sufyan Al-Thawri narrated... saying: Al-Kalbi said... “Whatever you narrated from me, from Abu Salih, from Ibn Abbas, is a lie, so do not narrate it.” [2]
Its narrator is a liar whose narration is to be abandoned, and he is Al-Kalbi...
“.. Al-Asma’i narrated that he heard Qura bin Khalid say: They used to think that Al-Kalbi was a liar. I said to Al-Asma’i: What is tasrif according to him? He said: I heard Ibn Hammad say: Al-Sa’di said: Muhammad bin Al-Sa’ib is a liar and a loser. Al-Nasa’i said: Muhammad bin Al-Sa’ib Abu Al-Nadr Al-Kalbi is abandoned in hadith. Al-Saji told us: I heard Ibn Al-Muthanna say: I did not hear Yahya bin Abd Al-Rahman narrating anything on the authority of Al-Kalbi. Al-Saji told us: Muhammad bin Musa told me: Yazid bin Zari’ told us: Al-Kalbi was told by him, and he was a Sabian .” [3]
So this news about Ibn Abi Sarh was only mentioned from one source, which is the liar al-Kalbi... Al-Wahidi and al-Qurtubi included this news in their interpretations and attributed it to the narration of al-Kalbi on the authority of Ibn Abbas, and al-Kalbi is accused of lying, and his narration is invalid. The story has a basis with Abu Dawud and al-Nasa’i. [4 ]
As for attributing it to Muadh, may God be pleased with him... it is rejected because the hadith is weak... it includes Jabir al-Ju'fi..!!
Ibn Abi Hatim narrated it on the authority of al-Sha'bi on the authority of Zayd ibn Thabit, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, dictated this verse to me: {And We have certainly created man from an extract of clay} until His saying: {another creation} Muadh ibn Jabal said: {So blessed be God, the best of creators} so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, laughed, so Muadh said to him: Why are you laughing, O Messenger of God? He said: With this I concluded! [5]
The truth remains that it was proven that the one who said it was Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him:
So Ibn Abi Sarh did not say it, but rather the one who said it from the companions of the Messenger of God is: Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and not Abdullah bin Abi Sarh... And in that, Ibn Taymiyyah says:
“One of the things that weakens this narration is that it is well-known that the one who said this was Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him.” [6]
Omar’s narration is authentic , its chain of transmission is authentic. Its men are just, reliable and trustworthy.
Al-Suyuti mentioned this when he said in Al-Itqan:
The tenth type: What was revealed from the Qur’an on the tongues of some of the Companions: It is in reality a type of reason for revelation, and the origin of it is the agreements of Umar, and a group has classified it separately.
Al-Tirmidhi narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God has placed the truth on Umar’s tongue and heart.” Ibn Umar said: “No matter has ever befallen the people and they said: ‘He said:’ except that the Qur’an was revealed in the manner in which Umar said it.”
Ibn Mardawayh narrated on the authority of Mujahid that he said: Omar would have an opinion and the Qur’an would be revealed based on it.
Al-Bukhari and others narrated on the authority of Anas who said: Umar said: I agreed with my Lord on three matters. I said: O Messenger of Allah, if we took the station of Abraham as a place of prayer. Then this verse was revealed: {And take, [O Muhammad], from the station of Abraham a place of prayer.} I also said: O Messenger of Allah, both the righteous and the wicked enter upon your women, so why don’t you order them to cover themselves? Then the verse of the hijab was revealed. The wives of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gathered around him in jealousy, so I said to them: {Perhaps his Lord, if he divorces you, will give him in exchange wives better than you.}, and this was revealed as well.
Muslim narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar on the authority of Umar who said: I agreed with my Lord on three matters: the veil, the prisoners of Badr, and the station of Abraham. Ibn Abi Hatim narrated on the authority of Anas who said [7] : Umar said: I agreed with my Lord - or my Lord agreed with me on four matters. This verse was revealed: {And We have certainly created man from an extract of clay}. So when it was revealed, I said: “So blessed be Allah, the best of creators.” So it was revealed: {So blessed be Allah, the best of creators}. [8]
