Responding to the doubt of those who claim that the Qur’an contradicts the number of Muslims in Paradise
Response to this doubt
In the name of God , Christians
claim that there is a contradiction in the two verses.
Is there really a contradiction to see what
God Almighty said in the name of God, the Most Gracious , the Most Merciful ((When the Inevitable comes to pass (1) Its occurrence is not a liar (2) Lowering and raising (3) When the earth is shaken with a mighty shaking (4) And the mountains are crushed (5) And become scattered dust (6) And you are three kinds (7) So the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? (8) And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? (9) And the foremost will be the foremost ( 10) Those are the ones brought near ( 11) In the Gardens of Pleasure (12) A multitude of the former peoples (13) And a few of the later ones (14 ) The Lord of Glory speaks here about the conditions of people on the Day of Resurrection, and that they are divided into three groups . The first group: The people of the right , who are those who take their books in their right hands, or those who are taken by the right to Paradise. God Almighty said about the people of the right: ((But as for him who is given his book in his right hand, he will say, “Here, read my book.” (19) Indeed, I thought that I would meet my account. (20) So he is in (21) A life of contentment in a lofty garden (22) whose fruits are within reach (23) Eat and drink in happiness for what you put forth in the days gone by (24) ) Al-Haqqah And the Almighty said ((But as for him who is given his record in his right hand (7) He will be brought to account with an easy reckoning (8) And he will return to his family, rejoicing (9) ) Al-Inshiqaq And the people of the right are the righteous from Adam until the end of time, those who believed in God, His angels, His books, and His messengers and did righteous deeds.
And their division is as God Almighty said: “For the companions of the right hand (38) is a group of the former peoples (39) and a group of the latter peoples (40)”claim that there is a contradiction in the two verses.

The incident
Understand the group, any group, etc.
A group of the first ones from Adam, peace be upon him, to the coming of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
And a group of others from the Muslims since the coming of our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, until the end of time.
This indicates that Muslims are equal to half of the people of Paradise, as stated in the authentic hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Al-Tabarani, Al-Tayalisi, Abu Ya’la, Ibn Hibban, Al-Bazzar, Ibn Abi Shaybah, Al-Bayhaqi, Abu Nu’aym, Abd bin Hamid, and Al-Hamidi in different ways.
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah the Almighty will say: ‘O Adam!’ He will say: ‘At your service and at your pleasure, and all good is in your hands.’ He will say: ‘Bring forth the people of Hell.’ He said: ‘And what are the people of Hell?’ He said: ‘Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine. At that time, the young will turn gray, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see people drunk, but they are not drunk, but the punishment of Allah is severe.’” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, who is that one?” He said: “Be glad, for among you is a man, and among Gog and Magog is a thousand.” Then he said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I hope that you will be a quarter of the people of Paradise.” So we said: “God is Great.” He said: “I hope that you will be a third of the people of Paradise.” So we said: “God is Great.” He said: “I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise .”
The second category: They are the people of the left or left side.
God Almighty said: ((And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? (9)))
And he described them as liars.
God Almighty said: (And if he was among the deniers and the erring ones (92) then there will be an accommodation of scalding water (93) and burning in Hellfire (94) ) Al-Waqi’ah
It is meant that they will be taken to the left to the fire or that they will take their records of deeds with their left hands.
Allah the Almighty said about them: “But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, ‘Oh, I wish I had not been given my record (25) And that I did not know what my account would be. (26) Oh , I wish that had been the final decision . (27) My wealth has not availed me. (28) My authority has perished from me. ( 29) Seize him and fetter him . (30) Then cast him into Hellfire. (31) Then plunge him into a chain whose length is seventy cubits. (32) Indeed, he was not to be blamed.” He believes in God, the Almighty (33) and does not encourage the feeding of the poor (34)) Al-Haqqah
And He, the Most High, said: ((But as for he who is given his record behind his back (10) he will call for destruction (11) and will burn in a Blaze (12) Indeed, he was among his family rejoicing (13) Indeed, he thought that he would never return (14) Yes, indeed, his Lord was ever, of him, Seeing (15) ) Al-Inshiqaq
The people of the left are from all nations without exception. Whoever disbelieves in God and disobeys Him is from the people of the left. They are only distinguished later by the extent of the punishment according to the extent of the sin.
The third category: the predecessors or the close ones
God Almighty said: ((And the foremost will be the foremost (10) Those will be the ones brought near (11) In the Gardens of Pleasure (12)) Al-Waqi’ah
And the Lord of Glory also said about them: ((But if he is of those brought near (88) then there is comfort and fragrance and a garden of pleasure (89) ) Al-Waqi’ah
The foremost are: The foremost are those who are the first to faith and the first to Paradise. The first is more appropriate because it indicates glorification and magnification. Al-Hasan and Qatada said: They are the first to faith from his words. Muhammad ibn Ka’b said: They are the prophets. Ibn Sirin said: They are those who prayed towards the two Qiblahs. Mujahid said: They are those who were the first to jihad, and Ad-Dahhak said the same. Sa’id ibn Jubayr said: They are the first to repentance and righteous deeds. Az-Zajjaj said: The meaning is: The first to obey Allah are the first to seek Allah’s mercy.
Al-Hasan and Qatada said: “And the foremost, the foremost” meaning from every nation.
This is what I tend towards, as the forerunners are those who hasten to believe in the messengers and their teachings, whether they were companions of Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, or other prophets and messengers, upon them be the best prayers and peace.
Their number is as God Almighty said: “A group of the former peoples (13) and a few of the latter peoples (14))” (Al-Waqi’ah).
The Lord of Glory has determined the difference in precedence between the first and last believers.
Allah the Almighty said: ((And what is [the matter] with you that you do not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest and fought. Those are greater in degree than those who spent afterwards and fought. And to all Allah has promised the best. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. (10) ) Al-Hadid
God Almighty said about the Muhajireen and the Ansar: “And the first forerunners [in Islam] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. And He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. That is the great attainment.” (100 ) At-Tawbah
Is it the same for someone who fought and defended the religion with his prophet and the religion was established on his blood, and for someone who came after him and took over the religion ready and prepared?? Of course not.
That is why it has been proven in Sahih and other sources from more than one source that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The best of generations is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them.”
The same is the case with the rest of the prophets.
But the predecessors of the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, are more
Because it was mentioned previously in the hadith of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that most of the people of Paradise are from his nation, may God bless him and grant him peace.
And so that your Lord does not wrong anyone, He has given to those who come after a time, that is, a prophet, a degree similar to those who came before. For this reason, He said, “A few of the later ones,” that is, a few of the later people of Moses before the coming of our master Jesus, did a deed that equals or approaches the deed of those who came before, so they will be among them.
And from the later people of Jesus, from the monotheists who fought for the truth until the coming of our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Among those who came after the time of the Companions and the Followers of the Muslims until the Day of Resurrection, whose deeds reached the levels of the deeds of the predecessors.
The reason for preferring the predecessors of the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, over others, whether they were from the first, who were the majority, or the last, who were the minority.
They will enter Paradise without being held accountable, and this is the reason why they are not mentioned among the people of Yemen or the North.
In the authentic hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari and others
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, he said:
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us one day and said: “The nations were shown to me. A prophet would pass by with one man, a prophet with two men, a prophet with a group of people, and a prophet with no one. I saw a great multitude filling the horizon, so I hoped that it would be my nation. I was told: This is Moses and his people. Then it was said to me: Look! I saw a great multitude filling the horizon. I was told: Look like this and like this. I saw a great multitude filling the horizon. I was told: These are your nation, and with these are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being brought to account.”
These are the foremost and closest ones. O Allah, make us among them.
In the end, I see that Christians are a bunch of mercenary frauds who play with words and meanings and falsely deceive people. They will get from God what they do not deserve.
