If a morsel of food falls from one of you, let him pick it up.
Etiquette of eating and drinking:
There are etiquettes for eating that the educator must teach the child, guide him to them, and observe them in the matter of applying them, and they are in the following order:
(a) Washing the hands before and after eating :
Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi narrated on the authority of Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The blessing of food is ablution before it and ablution after it.”
(b) Saying Bismillah at the beginning and praising Allah at the end :
Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ When one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allah, and if he forgets to mention the name of Allah at the beginning, let him say: In the name of Allah, at the beginning and at the end .”
Imam Ahmad and others narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate and drank, he would say: “ Praise be to Allah who fed us and gave us drink and made us Muslims .”
(c) Not to criticize food that was presented to him :
As narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “ The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) never criticized food. If he liked it, he ate it, and if he disliked it, he left it .”
(d) To eat with his right hand and what is in front of him :
As narrated by Muslim on the authority of Umar ibn Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said: I was a boy in the care of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and my hand would wander around in the dish (moving around in the vessel), so the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to me: “ Boy, say Bismillah, eat with your right hand, and eat what is in front of you .”
(e) Not to eat while reclining :
As it is harmful to health and shows arrogance. Al-Bukhari narrated on the authority of Abu Juhayfah Wahb ibn Abdullah who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “ I do not eat while reclining .”
Muslim narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “ I saw the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sitting cross-legged eating dates .”
(v) It is recommended to talk while eating :
As Muslim narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked his family for a condiment, and they said: We have nothing but vinegar. So he called for it and began to eat from it, saying: ‘Vinegar is a good condiment, vinegar is a good condiment .’”
It was authentically reported that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to talk to his companions while eating at the table on more than one occasion.
(z) It is recommended to pray for one’s host when one has finished eating :
As Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Sa`d ibn `Ubadah, and he brought some bread with olive oil, and he ate it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘The fasting people have broken their fast with you, the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels have prayed for you.’”
(h) Not to start eating while someone older than him is present :
As Muslim narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “ When we attended a meal with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we would not put our hands down until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started and put his hand down .”
(t) Not to be careless with blessings :
Narrated by Muslim on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, who said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ate food, he would lick his three fingers. And he said: If a morsel of food falls from one of you, let him pick it up, remove the dirt from it, eat it, and not leave it for the devil. And he commanded us to clean the bowl, and he said: ( You do not know in which part of your food the blessing lies ).
Islam says that cleanliness is part of faith, but on the other hand, we find Jesus saying that filth is part of faith: There is no washing of hands before eating and sitting at the dining table in a barbaric manner.
Washing hands is impurity.
Mark 7:5
Then the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do not your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”
Mark 7:15
“Nothing from outside a man, if it enters into him, can defile him; but the things which come out of him are what defile a man.”
I want to eat fish,

. 24:44 And he said to them, “These are the words that I have spoken to you !
