The masterpieces of the miraculous nature of the unseen in the words of the Prophet of Mercy , may God
bless him and grant him peace. Let us contemplate these hadiths that tell us about our current reality. They bear witness that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a messenger from God....

In a time when myths, superstitions, ignorance and idolatry prevailed, and in an age when people fought for years over a camel!! In an age when a little girl was buried alive in the ground for no sin except that she was female! And in a time when a man would buy a god made of dates, and when he was hungry he would eat it!! In these circumstances came the Prophet of Mercy , may God bless him and grant him peace, and with him came light, guidance and truth. He came to change the world until the Day of Judgment.
But this Prophet was not an ordinary human being, but a Prophet sent and supported by God Almighty, God who created this universe and created everything and He knows everything, and God willed for the message of Islam to spread throughout the world, and therefore there must be miracles to support this merciful Prophet, but what are they?
He supported him with great unseen miracles, as he would tell of events that would occur hundreds of years later, at a time when no one expected such things to happen. In fact, the Prophet at that time did not have time for such topics, as he was the one who carried the concerns of the nation and the concern of the call, and he had very difficult tasks in convincing the polytheists to change their corrupt beliefs, so the miracle was with our Master Muhammad everywhere. Allah
split the moon for him, and gave him victory over his enemies, and even the enemies of Islam turned to faith and were loyal soldiers to their Prophet, beloved and leader. Therefore, if we assume for the sake of argument that this Prophet was not truthful and wanted fame, power and money, why would he involve himself in talking about unseen things that would happen after his death? Rather, what would he benefit from these hadiths if he were not truthful? Therefore, such hadiths are tangible evidence in our time of the truthfulness of the message of this final Prophet, and that he is a Prophet from Allah Almighty.
Now, my beloved, let us reflect on the words of the Prophet of Mercy, peace and blessings be upon him
, and how they are one hundred percent consistent with our reality that we live today: the emergence of tribulations and lies and the shortening of time .
It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (The Hour will not come until tribulations appear , lying increases, markets come closer together and time comes closer together) [Narrated by Imam Ahmad]. In this noble hadith, there is information about our reality that we live these days. Tribulations have increased, lies have increased, markets have increased and come closer together, and time has become closer, as digital communications provide us with information and transmit images from distant places so that we know what is happening now.
Referring to the global economy, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
said, speaking about the signs of the Hour: (Among the signs of the Hour are that money and trade will spread) [Narrated by Al-Nasa’i], and in another narration: (Until a woman shares with her husband in trade) [Narrated by Ahmad]. Trade has become the backbone of the global economy today, and this was not known at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as agriculture was the most widespread at that time.
Consider with me how women have a share in the media, factories, teaching, political and commercial positions, and there are organizations for businesswomen and other things that were not known at the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace .
New means of riding On the authority
of Ibn Omar, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: (At the end of time there will be men who ride on the miathir until they come to the doors of the mosques, their women are clothed but naked, on their heads like the humps of lean camels, curse them for they are cursed. It was said, O Messenger of God , what makes horses permissible? He said: They are never ridden for war) [Narrated by Ibn Hibban and Ibn Majah]. Look how the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him
peace, spoke about new means of transportation that were not known at his time, which are the miathir, and we can say that they are the cars that have spread, and horses have become for fun and luxury only.
Look how the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, predicted that these horses will never be used in wars, ( They will never be ridden for war ) and this is a reference to the invention of new means such as warplanes, tanks, nuclear weapons and laser weapons... So who told him, may God bless him and grant him peace, about all of this??
Referring to skyscrapers,
on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Gabriel when he asked about the Hour: But I will tell you about its signs - and he mentioned among them - (And when the herders of animals compete in building tall buildings, that is one of its signs) [ Narrated by Al -Bukhari and Muslim]. Today we see people competing in building tall towers, and they boast about that, and this is a miracle that testifies to the truthfulness of the greatest prophet. Because no one could have predicted such a thing 14 centuries ago.
Ignorance, killing and wealth The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) said : (The Hour will not come until knowledge is taken away, earthquakes increase, time passes quickly, tribulations appear, and killing increases, until wealth increases among you and overflows) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari].
There are several miracles in this hadith:
1- The seizure of knowledge: If we contemplate some of the fatwas issued by the "senior scholars" today, such as permitting usury, permitting kissing between female and male friends, and permitting smoking in the month of Ramadan... Unfortunately, we find many satellite channels picking up on such scholars, who are not scholars. Isn't all of this evidence of the seizure of knowledge and the spread of ignorance?
2- Frequent earthquakes: There are many scientific indicators today of the possibility of a large number of earthquakes, hurricanes, and natural disasters such as tsunamis, as a result of the great pollution that the earth will witness in the coming few years, and this indicates the truthfulness of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace .
3- The convergence of time: through the speed of communications, the speed of movement, and the speed of transferring information, through mobile phones, satellite channels, and e-mail.
4- The emergence of seditions: As we see in many Islamic countries from sectarian and religious seditions, the sedition of killing, and others.
5- Increased killing: This is what we see on satellite screens of wars, battles and armed conflicts between the peoples of the earth, and the indicators are increasing.
6- Increased money: The global economy depends on money, currency exchange, banks, trade and the stock exchange, and these things were not known at the time of the Great Prophet.
The emergence of adultery and alcohol. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him
peace, said : (Among the signs of the Hour: ignorance will appear, knowledge will decrease, adultery will appear, alcohol will be drunk, men will decrease, and women will increase, until fifty women will be valued by one man) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari]. If we walk in the streets of Islamic countries today, we will see many shops selling alcohol, and we will see places of entertainment and dances spread here and there.
If we go to the beaches, we will see amazing things that were not known at the time of the Prophet , may God bless him and grant him peace. Even in non-Islamic countries, there is hardly a table without alcoholic drinks of various kinds. None of this could have been predicted a thousand and four hundred years ago, but the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, does not speak from his own desires.
The approach of the Day of Resurrection The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) said : “I and the Hour were sent like these two,” meaning two fingers [Bukhari]. Scientists estimate the age of the universe to be billions of years (13.5 billion years), and the age of man is very small compared to the age of the universe, as our Master Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent only 1400 years ago, meaning that if we divide 1400 by 13,500,000,000 the result is very small, about 0.0000001, or one in ten million. Therefore, the prophetic simile is accurate, as he joined his two fingers together, to indicate that the time of the coming of the Day of Resurrection is very close in relation to the age of the universe, and Allah knows best.
Referring to the computer and printing,
on the authority of Ibn Masoud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said : “Indeed, before the Hour - and he mentioned among them - is the appearance of the pen” [Narrated by Ahmad]. Look with me at the development of writing and the use of computers in writing, newspapers, magazines and books, to the point that the number of pages printed daily is estimated at millions. Who would have imagined that this would happen at a time when there were only a few men in all of Mecca who were skilled at writing?!
Referring to the weakness and backwardness of the Muslims, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
) said : (The nations will soon call upon you as eaters call upon their dish... but you will be like the scum of a torrent). Glory be to Allah! It is an accurate and eloquent simile, and by Allah, the most eloquent of speakers are unable to describe and depict this reality that the Islamic nation is living today, as the Greatest Beloved ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) depicted it for us.
Nations have underestimated us and Muslims have become the most backward people on earth after Allah honored them with Islam, and the reason for that is that we have strayed from the teachings of this true religion. We ask Allah to grant well-being to the Muslims and for them to return to their senses and to their religion.
Referring to the amazing inventions, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
) said : “The Hour will not come until you see great things that you did not see before nor did you think about them” [Narrated by Ahmad]. In another narration: “So when you see that, remember Allah Almighty and know that it is the beginning of the Hour.” Look at the new inventions such as the Internet, mobile phones, television, deadly weapons, and dangerous diseases such as AIDS, mad cow disease, and swine flu... We had never heard of all these things before! Today, you can talk to your friend and see him through your mobile phone, even if he is thousands of kilometers away. This is evidence of the truthfulness of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), because how could he have known that amazing, great, and new things would appear, if he were not a messenger from Allah Almighty?
Referring to the ingenuity of buildings, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
) said : “The Hour will not come until people build houses and decorate them like the decoration of saddles” [Narrated by Al-Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad]. "Marahil are striped clothes"
Look at these decorated houses around us, where millions are spent on decorating and embellishing them... How could an illiterate prophet living in the desert of the Arabian Peninsula know that people would spend huge sums of money on decorating their homes? Men
imitating women and vice versa . The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
) said : (The Hour is drawing near, men will imitate women and women will imitate men) [Narrated by Abu Naim]. The phenomenon of men imitating women and vice versa has become widespread in the world today, to the point that we find many countries permitting men to marry men and women to marry women... We ask Allah for wellness. This matter was not known or even expected to happen, but the Prophet told us about it. Why? To be evidence of the truth of his prophethood in this era in which the Prophet of Mercy (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is often mocked. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
) said : (There will be people from my nation who will consider fornication, silk, alcohol and musical instruments permissible) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari], and fornication is the private parts. Today let us look at what is happening in cafes, restaurants, singing and prostitution places, to the point that these songs have entered our homes and cars, and we hear them in the street... Millions of tapes and CDs are sold daily, millions of concerts, dance parties and alcohol parties... We see all of them in this time. No one could have imagined this phenomenon at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but the Prophet of Mercy , peace and blessings be upon him, told us about it to be evidence of his truthfulness in this era. Referring to public adultery, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon
him , said : ( By
the One in Whose Hand is my soul, this nation will not perish until a man stands up to a woman and spreads her out in the street, and the best of them on that day will be the one who says, “If only I had covered her behind this wall.”)[Narrated by Abu Ya'la]. Look at the Western countries, how they practice immorality in the streets and on the beaches, and unfortunately you hardly see anyone who says to them: Fear Allah!!
And we say to every arrogant atheist who mocks the Prophet of Mercy, peace and blessings be upon him: For God's sake! How did the noble Prophet know about such a thing at that time? How did he know that a time would come when practicing immorality would become public and a legitimate right, as we see today in most non-Muslim countries? Unfortunately, there are some Muslim countries that imitate the West in this bad habit.
Decorating Mosques The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him
, said : (The Hour will not come until people show off in the mosques) [Narrated by Imam Ahmad]. Look at the decorations and money spent on decorating mosques, knowing that we sanctify and revere the houses of God , but it is not logical to find the poor unable to find anything to eat, then spend millions on decorating a mosque, and God has no need for such extravagance!
Yes, the House of Allah must be a decent house and contain all the comfort requirements for worshippers, but there are mosques that contain decorations that Allah did not authorize or call for. In fact, if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was not a messenger from Allah , he would not have known that this would happen after him!
Frequent earthquakes The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family )
said : (The Hour will not come until earthquakes become frequent) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari]. Scientists say that there are many indications of sudden and unexpected earthquakes. For example, a country like Japan is located in an area that could crack and shake at any moment, killing millions of people, as well as many countries... Our question is: Did Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) study geology and predict this matter?!
Referring to the lack of trust, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him )
said : (If trust is lost, then await the Hour) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari]. If we enter the courts today, we will see a large number of lawsuits caused by breach of trust, and we will see millions of cases of fraud, deception, and forgery... This matter was not known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Rather, no human being at that time could have predicted that the trust would be lost, and this proves that Muhammad is a messenger from God.
The abundance of songs and “female singers”
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said : (At the end of time there will be subsidence, stoning, and transformation. It was said: When will that be, O Messenger of God? He said: When musical instruments and female singers appear.)[Narrated by Ibn Majah], and the Qaynat are the dancers and singers. Look with me at the emergence of music and its spread in an unimaginable way, as well as the spread of female singers in large numbers, in the tens of thousands, and unfortunately there are hundreds of satellite channels that broadcast songs and dancers day and night.
Hundreds of thousands of tapes and CDs containing low-level films or licentious songs are sold daily in Muslim countries alone, and such a phenomenon was not known at the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and therefore this hadith represents a true miracle of our master Muhammad, because no one could have predicted that songs would spread in this terrifying way.
New names for alcohol
The Messenger of God , may God bless him and grant him peace , said : (A group of my nation will consider alcohol permissible, calling it by other names) [Narrated by Ahmad], alcohol has now acquired many names: beer, vodka, whiskey... and all of them are new names that were not known before, so who told the noble Prophet that people would invent these new names for alcohol?
Disobedience to parents The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
said about the signs of the Day of Judgment: (If a man obeys his wife, disobeys his mother, is dutiful to his friend, and is harsh with his father) [Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi]. Today, it is enough for us to enter any Muslim court to see a large number of fathers filing lawsuits against their children because of their disobedience, cursing, or hitting their parents! We also find many problems between a man and his mother because of his wife... and such matters were not common in the past.
Researchers in this field confirm the increase in the phenomenon of disobedience to parents, which is what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us about, and it is evidence of the approach of the Day of Judgment.
Shall we take heed and return to the Book of our Lord?
My beloved in Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) did not tell us about such matters just to prove to us that he is a Messenger from Allah!! Yes, it is a great goal for these hadiths to be a witness and proof of the truth of the message of Islam, but there is another goal, which is for us to beware and prepare for the Day of Judgment.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) warns us of the approaching Hour, which will come suddenly. If we see such things as “musical instruments, adultery, alcohol, lying…” we should be aware of the approaching Day of Resurrection, and therefore hasten to repent, seek forgiveness, and return to the teachings of this religion. May Allah end our lives with goodness, and may we be among those about whom Allah the Almighty said: “ Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they have not changed [their commitment] in the least. ” [Al-Ahzab: 23
