morals of the Messenger of Islam, Muhammad
The morals of the master of messengers and the master of the first and the last
In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His aid, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and the wickedness of our deeds. He whom Allah guides, none can misguide, and he whom He misguides, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
Now then, I present to my dear Muslim readers: the prophetic morals and Islamic manners so that they may be informed about them and follow the example of this noble Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his morals, manners, humility, patience, courage, generosity, and his belief in the oneness of his Lord, especially since we are in an age in which we need to spread the monotheism and morals by which the Muslims triumphed and Islam spread...
Elements we will study in this series:
1 - Opinions of the Companions about the beloved Mustafa and his description, may God bless him and grant him peace.
2 - Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, before prophethood and his morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, with God Almighty.
3 - The morals of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, with his family, children, and servants.

6 - The Prophet’s morals in his call, his manners with his companions, and his manners and dealings with his enemies.
These are the words of some of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, about the Master of Creation, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him:
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, who said: “ The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the best of people in character. ” - Agreed upon .
On the authority of Safiyyah bint Huyayy, may God be pleased with her, she said: “I have never seen anyone with better character than the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. ” Narrated by Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat with a good chain of transmission .
On the authority of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, when she was asked about the character of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, she said: ( His character was the Qur’an ) Sahih Muslim .
On the authority of Ata’, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I said to Abdullah bin Amr, tell me about the description of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the Torah, he said: Yes, by Allah, he is described in the Torah with the same description as he is in the Qur’an, O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner and a protection for the unlettered. You are My servant and Messenger, I have named you Al-Mutawakkil, neither rude nor harsh nor loud in the markets, nor does he repel evil with evil, but he pardons and forgives, and Allah will not take him until He establishes through him the crooked religion, by them saying, “There is no god but Allah,” and He opens through it blind eyes, deaf ears, and sealed hearts . - Narrated by Al-Bukhari .

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most perfect of people in honor, the kindest in nature, the most just in temperament, the most generous in his relations, and the most generous in his hand, because he was independent of transient things and had only lasting good deeds .
(Muhammad, and what will make you know who Muhammad is? May my father and mother be sacrificed for him, may God bless him and grant him peace. )
- Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the Seal of the Messengers and the master of the first and the last. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I am the master of the children of Adam, and I am not boasting.”
First, the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, as if you can see him:
1- The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had the most handsome face and the best character. He was neither too tall nor too short.
2- The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, had a white complexion and a handsome face.
3- The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was square-built ( [1] ), broad between the shoulders, with a thick beard, and a reddish tinge to his earlobes. I saw him in a red robe, and I have never seen anyone more handsome than him. (Thick beard: with much hair) (His hair: his hair).
4- The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had a large head, hands and feet, and a handsome face. I have not seen anyone like him before or after him.
5- His face was like the sun and the moon and was round.
6- When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was happy, his face would light up, as if his face were a piece of the moon, and we knew that.
7- The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, would only laugh with a smile, and when I looked at him I would say he had kohl-lined eyes, but he did not have kohl.
8- On the authority of Aisha, she said: I never saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, laughing so hard that I could see his uvula. His laughter was only a smile. (His uvula: the back of his throat.)
9- On the authority of Jabir bin Samra, may God be pleased with him, who said: “I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a bright night. I kept looking at the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and at the moon. He was wearing a red robe, and I saw that he was more beautiful than the moon to me. (Bright, moonlit)
Secondly, our master Muhammad, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, before prophethood:
When he ( peace be upon him and his family ) was 35 years old, he faced a great dispute among the Quraysh. He was able, with his wisdom, to remove that dispute, which revealed the extent of the respect he enjoyed among the Quraysh. When the Kaaba was destroyed by a great flood, the people rebuilt it, but they disagreed about placing the Black Stone in its place. The leaders of the Quraysh disputed over who would place it, which delayed the construction process for five days, and a bloody war almost broke out between them because of it, and perhaps a long one, until an elder from among them stood up and said: O people of the Quraysh, let the first one to enter the door of this mosque judge between you in what you disagree about. They accepted his opinion, and the first to enter was Muhammad, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family). They said: This is Muhammad the Trustworthy, we are satisfied, this is Muhammad. Then he (PBUH) said: Bring me a garment. So he took the stone and put it in it and said: Let each tribe take a corner of the garment and then lift it all together. Then he ( PBUH ) put it in its place with his hand.
The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the truthful and trustworthy one who never betrays or lies. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, was trustworthy in his dealings, and Lady Khadija, may God be pleased with her and satisfy her, married him because of his good character, trustworthiness, and truthfulness.
We also take the morals of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - with God - Glory be to Him -:
For prayer
_That is why the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would pray until his feet cracked, swelled and became puffy. It was said to him: “Do you do this when God has forgiven you your past and future sins?” He said: “Should I not be a grateful servant?” Al-Bukhari, No. 1130, and Muslim, No. 2819....
He used to pray eleven rak’ahs at night, and sometimes he used to pray thirteen rak’ahs. (Bukhari, No. 1147, and Muslim, No. 737) “And he used to pray twelve rak’ahs of voluntary prayers.” (Muslim, No. 728)
For fasting
_ He used to fast three days of every month, except Ramadan. (Muslim, No. 1160)
_ “He should strive to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. ” Al-Tirmidhi, No. 745, Al-Nasa’i, 4/202, and others.
_ He used to fast Sha’ban except for a little, in fact he used to fast the entire month of Sha’ban. Al-Bukhari, No. 1969 and 1970, and Muslim, No. 1156 and 1157 .
_ And he encouraged fasting six days of Shawwal. (Muslim, No. 1164)
_ And may God bless him and grant him peace, he would fast until it was said: He will not break his fast, and he would break his fast until it was said: He will not fast. Al-Bukhari, No. 1971, and Muslim, 1156.
It was narrated that he fasted on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, and he would continue fasting for two or three days, and he forbade fasting continuously ...
For charity
He used to give a lot of charity, and he was more generous with good than the blowing wind when Gabriel, peace and blessings be upon him, met him. ( Al-Bukhari, No. 6)
He used to give as one who does not fear poverty. For this reason, he gave a man sheep between two mountains. The man returned to his people and said: O my people, convert to Islam, for Muhammad gives as one who does not fear poverty . Muslim 4/1806.
So, may God bless him and grant him peace, he was the most generous of people , the bravest of people (Bukhari with Al-Fath 10/455...and the most merciful of people, the most humble , just, patient, kind , calm, forbearing, forgiving, forbearing, modest, and steadfast in the truth).
For Jihad
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) struggled in all fields of jihad: Jihad against the self, which has four levels: Jihad against it to learn the matters of religion, act upon it, and call to it with insight and patience in the hardships of calling to it; Jihad against Satan, which has two levels: Jihad against the doubts he casts, and to repel the desires he casts; Jihad against disbelief, which has four levels: with the heart, the tongue, wealth, and hand; and Jihad against the people of injustice, which has three levels: with the hand, then with the tongue, then with the heart. So these are thirteen levels of jihad, and the most perfect of people in them is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), because he completed all the levels of jihad, so his hours were dedicated to jihad: with his heart, his tongue, his hand, and his wealth. For this reason, he was the most exalted in mention among the worlds and the greatest of them in status with Allah . ( Al-Bukhari with Al-Fath 10/455)
Question!! If we were to rely on his good qualities, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would the nation remain as it is now??
We mention the morals of the beloved Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, with his family:
Among his noble morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his dealings with his family and wife, was that he would treat them well, be compassionate towards them, be gentle with them, and be affectionate towards them. He would joke with his family, be gentle with them, and play with them. It was his custom, may God bless him and grant him peace, to soften the name of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, as if he would say to her: “ O Aisha ,” and say to her: “ O Humaira ,” and he would honor her by calling her by her father’s name, as if he were saying to her: “ O daughter of the Truthful One .” This was nothing but affection, closeness, gentleness towards her, respect, and appreciation for her family.
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: “I went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on one of his journeys, and I was a young girl who had not put on weight or grown fat. He said to the people: ‘Go ahead,’ so they went ahead. Then he said to me: ‘Come, let me race you,’ and I beat him. He did not talk to me until I had put on weight and grown fat. I went out with him on one of his journeys. He said to the people: ‘Go ahead,’ so they went ahead. Then he said to me: ‘Come, let me race you,’ and I beat him. He kept laughing and said, ‘This for that.’” [Narrated by Abu Dawud in his Sunan and authenticated by Al-Albani in Sahih Abi Dawud, no. 2878]...
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: “He used to sew his clothes, mend his shoes, and do what men do in their homes.” Narrated by Ahmad .
The beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family.” Sunan Al-Tirmidhi.
On the authority of Al-Aswad, he said: I asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her, what did the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, do in his house? She said: (He would be tending to his family’s affairs, and when the time for prayer came, he would perform ablution and go out to pray.) Narrated by Muslim and Al-Tirmidhi .
He used to help his family, assist them in their affairs, and attend to their needs. Aisha used to bathe with him, may God bless him and grant him peace, from one vessel. He would say to her: “Leave some for me,” and she would say to him: “Leave some for me.” Narrated by Muslim ...
He used to bring the daughters of the Ansar to Aisha to play with her. If she liked something that was not forbidden, he would follow her in it. If she drank from a vessel, he would take it and put his mouth where her mouth had been and drink. If she sweated a bone with flesh on it, he would take it and put his mouth where her mouth had been. He would lean on her lap and read the Qur’an with his head on her lap. Sometimes she was menstruating, and he would order her while she was menstruating to put on her belt and then he would have intercourse with her. He would kiss her while he was fasting. It was part of his kindness and good manners with his family that he would allow her to play .
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “One of the greatest things in terms of reward is spending on one’s family.” Narrated by Muslim .
( It was also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his knee so that his wife Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) could place her foot on it so that she could ride her camel.) Narrated by Al-Bukhari .
One of the signs of his great respect and love for his wife Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) is that he would slaughter a sheep and then give it as a gift to her friends after her death. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) acknowledged that she used to change this behavior of his. Narrated by Al-Bukhari .

How beautiful are your morals, O Messenger of God, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him - O God, bless Muhammad bin Abdullah, the unlettered prophet
Where is the best nation after these morals that we hear?
Among his morals, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, with children:
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pass by the children and greet them. Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim with this wording .
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would hear a child crying and would hasten in his prayer for fear that his mother would be tempted .
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would carry his granddaughter while he was leading the people in prayer. When he stood up, he would carry her and when he prostrated, he would put her down. Then Al-Hasan and Al-Hussain, his grandsons, came while he was delivering the sermon to the people and they started walking and stumbling. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came down from the pulpit, carried them and placed them in front of him. Then he said: Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth: (And know that your wealth and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.) (Al-Anfal: 28). I looked at these two boys walking and stumbling, but I could not be patient until I stopped my speech and picked them up .
His character, may God bless him and grant him peace, in dealing with children. When he passed by children, he would greet them while they were young. He would carry his daughter in front of him, and he would carry his son, his daughter, the daughter of Zainab, the daughter of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in front of him while he was praying with the people. He would come down from the sermon to carry al-Hasan and al-Husayn and place them in front of him .

The Prophet’s (PBUH) morals with his servants :
Despite this great courage, he was kind and merciful. He was neither obscene nor vulgar, nor loud in the markets, nor did he respond to evil with evil, but he would forgive and pardon .
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I served the Prophet (PBUH) for ten years, and by Allah, he never said ‘Ugh’, nor did he say about anything, ‘Why did you do such and such? Why didn’t you do such and such?’” - Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi .
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) never struck a servant or a woman, nor did he ever strike anything with his hand except when he was fighting in the cause of Allah . ”
In another narration, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) never struck anything with his hand, neither a woman nor a servant, except when he was fighting in the cause of Allah. - Narrated by Malik, Al-Bukhari and Muslim, and Abu Dawud .
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was never given a choice between two matters except that he chose the easier of the two, as long as it was not a sin. If it was a sin, he was the furthest from it. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) never took revenge for himself, except when the sanctity of Allah was violated, in which case he would take revenge .”
For God's sake, whether you are a Muslim, Christian, Jew or atheist, do you wish for these morals in yourself or not?

I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the most honorable of God’s creation and the friend of the Most Merciful, may God bless him and grant him peace.
The mercy of the Chosen Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace :
Allah the Almighty said: (And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds) (Al-Anbiya: 107). When he was told to curse the polytheists, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I was not sent to curse, but rather I was sent as a mercy.” Narrated by Muslim . The Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ O Allah, I am only a human being, so any Muslim whom I curse or revile, make it a purification and reward for him.” Narrated by Muslim . Among the supplications of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was: “O Allah, whoever is in charge of any of my nation’s affairs and is harsh with them, be harsh with him, and whoever is in charge of any of my nation’s affairs and is kind to them, be kind to him.”
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do you receive sustenance and victory except through your weak ones?” Narrated by Al-Bukhari .
God Almighty said: “So by mercy from Allah, you are lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from around you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them.” (Al Imran: 159)
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said about the virtue of mercy: “The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani .
And the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said about the people of Paradise whom he spoke about by saying: “The people of Paradise are three, and he mentioned among them a merciful man with a soft heart toward all his relatives and a Muslim.” Narrated by Muslim .
The forgiveness of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace :
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, who said: “The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was one of the best of people in character. One day he sent me on an errand, and I said to him, ‘By God, I will not go,’ although I had in mind that I should go as he, may God bless him and grant him peace, had commanded me to do. So I went out and passed by some boys playing in the market place, and suddenly the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had grabbed me by the scruff of the neck from behind. I looked at him and he was laughing and said, ‘O Anas, did you go where I commanded you?’ I said, ‘Yes, I will go, O Messenger of God.’ So I went.” Narrated by Muslim and Abu Dawud .
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: While we were in the mosque with the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), a Bedouin came and stood up to urinate in the mosque. The companions of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Enough, enough.” The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not disturb him, leave him.” So they left him until he urinated. Then the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called him and said to him: “These mosques are not suitable for any of this urine or filth. They are only for the remembrance of Allah, prayer, and recitation of the Qur’an.” He said: So he ordered a man from the people to bring a bucket of water and pour it over him. Narrated by Muslim . Among his moral qualities were patience, forbearance, and courage.

Among his moral qualities were patience, forbearance, and courage.
The noble lady Aisha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, said in describing him, may God bless him and grant him peace: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not take revenge for himself unless God’s sanctity was violated in something, in which case he would take revenge for God.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari.
Among the signs of his patience and forgiveness is that on the day of Uhud he was afflicted with a severe calamity. His front tooth was broken and his noble head was wounded, and this greatly distressed his companions. So he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “O God, guide my people, for they do not know.” So look, my Muslim brother, at what this statement contains of the sum of virtue, degrees of benevolence, good character, and the ultimate in patience and forbearance, for he did not limit himself to remaining silent about them, but rather he prayed for their guidance, meaning the polytheists, and said: “O God, guide my people, for they do not know.”
When one of the polytheists, Ghawrath ibn al-Harith, attempted to attack the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while the Messenger was sleeping alone under a tree, he did not wake up until he found the man with the sword in his hand. The polytheist said to the Messenger, “Who can protect you from me?” The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him with the tongue of trust and certainty, “God.” The sword fell from his hand, so the Prophet took it and said to the man, “Who can protect you from me?” He said, “Be the best taker.” So he left him and forgave him. Then that polytheist returned to his people and said to them, “I have come to you from the best of people.”
Among the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, are courage and bravery. The Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was in a place that is not ignored. He was present in difficult situations and the brave and strong fled from him more than once, but he, may God bless him and grant him peace, was steadfast and did not move, and he advanced and did not turn back or move. Al-Bayhaqi narrated on the authority of Ibn Omar

Al-Bayhaqi narrated on the authority of our master Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, that he said about the bravery of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in battles: “When the battle became intense and the eyes turned red, we sought protection behind the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. No one was closer to the enemy than him. I saw myself on the day of Badr, and we sought protection behind the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he was the closest of us to the enemy.”
On the day of Hunayn, when the Muslims and the infidels met, some of the Muslims turned their backs, but the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not flee. So he, may God bless him and grant him peace, began to gallop his mule toward the infidels, and Abu Sufyan held its reins to stop it from speeding up, while the greatest Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “I am the Prophet, I do not lie. I am the son of Abdul Muttalib.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari.
By God, if we adopted the qualities of the beloved Mustafa, may God bless him and grant him peace, we would remain the best of nations.
Among his morals, may God’s prayers be upon him, is asceticism :
Among the morals of the Seal of the Prophets, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is his elevation above the world and his asceticism in its pleasures and purposes, as he preferred the Hereafter over this world. If the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, claimed to be a prophet, he would think about his own interests and the world, which the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was far from. Now, some of his companions, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, preferred a life of asceticism: Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: O God, let me live poor and let me die poor and gather me with the poor on the Day of Resurrection. His Lord gave him the choice between kingship on earth and a life of passion and poverty, so he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, chose passion for life and going to this world, as an elevation for the Hereafter and hope for the Hereafter.
Al-Bukhari narrated from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The family of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not eat their fill for three days until he died. Umar, may God be pleased with him, saw him writhing with hunger, and he could not find even bad dates to satisfy his hunger. Then he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw what had befallen him in this world and what had befallen others in this world, and he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, spending the day writhing, not finding any vegetables to fill his stomach with. When the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, found food, he would only find barley bread.
Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, was invited to a roasted lamb, but he refused to eat it and said, “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, departed this world without having had his fill of barley bread.” This barley, from which he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was not satisfied, was of the poor quality, not the good, because it was not sifted.
If we ask about the afflictions of the Prophet’s house, may God bless him and grant him peace, he would not live except like the rest of his companions. As for his pillow, the Mother of the Believers Aisha describes him and says: The pillow of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, on which he would lean was made of dyed leather stuffed with palm fibers. As for his bed, may God bless him and grant him peace, it was a mat that left marks on his sides.
Ibn Masoud said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, slept on a mat and then got up, and it had left marks on his side. We said: O Messenger of God, if we could make a mattress for you. He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: What do I have to do with the wealth of this world? I am in this world only like a rider who takes shelter under a tree, then leaves it and goes away.
Omar, may God be pleased with him, entered upon him and saw him reclining on a mat that had left marks on his side. He looked with his eyes at his closet, may the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon him, and in it were a handful of barley and another handful of tree leaves on the other side. Omar said: My eyes began to weep. He, may the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon him, said: What makes you weep, O son of Al-Khattab? Omar said: O Prophet of God, why should I not weep while this mat has left marks on your side and this is your closet, and I see in it nothing but what I see. There is Caesar and Khosrau in the fruits and rivers, and you are the Messenger of God, may the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon him, and this is your closet. He said: O son of Al-Khattab, are you not satisfied that the Hereafter is for you and they have the world?
A woman from the Ansar entered his house, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him, and saw his bed folded up. She went and sent a bed with wool on it to the house of the Prophet, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him. When he saw it, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him, he said, “Return it, Aisha, for by God, if you wished, God would support mountains of gold and silver.” Aisha said, “So she returned it.” Is this not asceticism evidence of his morals, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him?
Among his asceticism, may God’s prayers be upon him, when he was dying he asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her, “Is there money in the house?” She said, “Yes, there are seven dinars.” So he cried and said, “How can Muhammad meet his Lord when there are seven dinars in his house?”
His morals also include kindness and humility:
(One of the most beautiful morals of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is kindness and humility.)
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said: “Whenever the Messenger of God (may God bless him and grant him peace) missed one of his brothers for three days, he would ask about him . If he was absent, he would pray for him. If he was present, he would visit him. If he was sick, he would visit him .”
And in his manners with his people, as Imam Ali, may God be pleased with him, referred to in a hadith of his: “ The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, never shook hands with anyone and then withdrew his hand from his hand until he was the one who withdrew his hand. No one ever negotiated with him about a need or a conversation and then turned away until the man was the one who turned away. No one disputed with him about a conversation and remained silent until he was the one who remained silent. He was never seen putting his foot forward in front of a companion of his .”
Humility lowers the soul without vulgarizing it, belittling its value, or daring others to belittle the status of the humble person .
What Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Abu Rafa’ah that he entered the mosque and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was delivering a sermon. He said, “So I said, ‘O Messenger of God.’ He said, ‘I am a stranger and I have come to ask about your religion.’ He stopped his sermon until he reached him and said, ‘A chair was brought to him and he sat down to teach me what God had done. Then he came to his sermon and finished the rest of it.’”
His humility, may God bless him and grant him peace: In Sahih Al-Bukhari, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Do not regard me as the Christians regarded the son of Mary. I am only his servant, so say: the servant of God and His Messenger.
A man entered upon him and said, “O our master and son of our master, and our best and son of our best.” The Messenger of God, may the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon him, said , “O people, adhere to your piety and do not let Satan lead you astray. I am Muhammad, the son of Abdullah and His Messenger. By God, I do not like you to raise me above the status that God Almighty has given me.”
When the companions began digging the trench, the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not stop digging with them. Al-Bara’ bin Malik said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was carrying dirt with us on the Day of the Confederates. I saw him with his belly full of dirt and he was saying: If it were not for you, we would not have been guided, nor would we have given charity, nor would we have prayed. So send down tranquility upon us and make our feet firm. If we meet the leaders, they will transgress against us, and if they want to cause strife, we will refuse.
When the companions set out for the Battle of Badr, they would take turns riding a camel, three men at a time. The two companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, were Ali and Abu Lubaba. Ibn Masoud said that when the time for the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, to ride was up, they would say to him, “Ride so that we may walk for you.” He would say to them, may God bless him and grant him peace, “You are not stronger than I am, and I am not more in need of reward than you.”
Muslim narrated from the hadith of Jabir that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed while sitting during his fatal illness. He turned to us and saw us standing, so he motioned to us to sit down, and we prayed while sitting like him. When he finished, he said, “Do not do what the Persians and Romans did, as they stand over their kings while they are sitting. Do not do that. Lead your nation in prayer. If he prays standing, then pray standing, and if he prays sitting, then pray while sitting.”
On the authority of Anas ibn Malik, that a woman was mentally unstable and said, “O Messenger of God, I have a need of you.” He, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him, said, “O mother of so-and-so, look at whichever path you want so that I may fulfill your need.” Anas said, “So he walked with her on some of the paths until he fulfilled her need.”
Ibn Majah narrated on the authority of Abu Masoud that a man came to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and spoke to him. His jokes frightened him, so he said to him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “Take it easy, for I am not a king, but rather the son of a woman who used to eat qadhid (meat).” Despite his humility, he did not lose his prestige among the Companions, may God be pleased with them.
His humility, may God bless him and grant him peace, was not only a characteristic that he adorned himself with in front of people, but it was a noble characteristic that did not leave him even when he was in his home and among his family. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, was asked what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to do in his home. She said, “He used to be in the service of his family, and when the time for prayer came, he would go out to pray. And his Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, gave him the choice between being a slave and messenger or a king and messenger, so he chose, may God bless him and grant him peace, to be a slave and messenger.”
Imam Muslim narrated on the authority of Al-Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I and two of my companions came, and our hearing and sight had gone from the effort, so we presented ourselves to the companions of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), but none of them would accept us. So we came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he took us to his family, and there were three goats. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: Milk this milk between us. He said: So we would milk it, and each of us would drink his share, and we would raise his share to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) . He said: He would come at night and greet the sleeping person with a greeting that would not wake the sleeping person and would make the awake person hear . He said: Then he would come to the mosque and pray, then he would come to his drink and drink. Then one night Satan came to me while I had drunk my share, and he said: Muhammad comes to the Ansar and they give him gifts, and he finds something there that he needs for this sip! So I went to it and drank it, and when it had penetrated my stomach and I knew that there was no way to it, Satan made me regret it! He said: Woe to you, what did you do? Did you drink Muhammad’s drink? He came and did not find it, so he invoked curse upon you and you would perish, and your worldly life and the Hereafter would be lost. I had a cloak on me, and when I put it on my feet, my head would come out, and when I put it on my head, my feet would come out, and I would not be able to sleep. As for my two companions, they slept and did not do what I did . He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came and greeted him as he used to greet him, then he came to the mosque and prayed. Then he came to his drink and uncovered it and did not find anything in it. He raised his head to the sky, and I said: Now he is invoking curse upon me and I will perish . He said: O Allaah, feed those who fed me and give drink to those who gave me drink. He said: So I took the cloak and tied it around me, and took the blade and went to the goats, whichever was fatter, so that I could slaughter it for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). They were all full and all were full. So I took a vessel for the family of Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), which they had never hoped to milk from. He said: So I milked into it until it foamed. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah ( may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he said: Did you drink your drink tonight? He said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, drink. So he drank, then he handed it to me. I said: O Messenger of Allah, drink. So he drank, then he handed it to me. When I knew that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) had drunk his fill and I had fulfilled his prayer, I laughed until I fell to the ground . He said: The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: One of your faults, O Miqdad ! I said: O Messenger of Allah, such and such happened to me, and I did such and such. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: This is nothing but a mercy from Allah. Why didn’t you notify me so that we could wake our two companions so that they could get some of it? I said: By Him who sent you with the truth, I do not care if I get it and get it with you from anyone else who gets it . What humility surrounds the greatness of this trustworthy Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?
Also, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was characterized by loyalty:
The greatest example of humanity in loyalty is the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and God is the highest example.
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asked: O Messenger of God, do you cry in your prayer when God has forgiven you your past and future sins? He said the most beautiful response, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said: “Should I not be a grateful servant?” Who among us today does as the beloved Chosen One did? So get up, my brother and sister, and let us pray and worship God. There is no power or strength except with God, the Most High, the Almighty.
Ali bin Abi Talib, may God honor his face, said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most faithful of people to his covenant.”
Abu Sufyan was asked, while he was still an unbeliever, whether the Messenger Muhammad would betray. He said, “No.”
The beloved Mustafa, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, never betrayed.
Anyone who looks at the biography of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - will find it a living example of good character, as the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - summed up the purpose of his mission in his saying: (I was only sent to perfect good character) [Narrated by Al-Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad,
If we wanted to list these situations, these few pages would not be enough for us, so we will take a drop from the abundance of the Prophet’s morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, which he displayed in some of his situations, so that we may follow his example, may God bless him and grant him peace, in compliance with the words of God Almighty: “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of God an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in God and the Last Day and who remembers God often.” [21: Al-Ahzab]
The justice of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace : His justice, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his implementation of God Almighty’s law were even against the closest of relatives. God Almighty said: (O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for God, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether he is rich or poor, God is more worthy of them both.)
May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he would tolerate the jealousy of some of them, and Lady Aisha was jealous, may God be pleased with her and satisfy her.
On the authority of Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, that she brought food in a plate of hers to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his companions. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, came with a knife and she split the plate with it while saying, “Eat, your mother is jealous.” Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took Aisha’s plate and sent it to Umm Salamah and gave Umm Salamah’s plate to Aisha. Narrated by al-Nasa’i and authenticated by al-Albani.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said in the story of the Makhzumi woman who stole: “By God, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, stole, I would cut off her hand.”
The words of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace:
And peace and blessings be upon him, he did not speak about what did not concern him, and he did not speak except about what he hoped would be rewarded for. And if he disliked something, it would be evident in his face. Indeed, his guidance in it was the most perfect guidance....
As described by the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, may God be pleased with her, when she said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not speak in a narration like you do, but he spoke in clear, distinct words that those who sat with him would memorize.” Agreed upon.

The Prophet’s morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, with his companions:
In the hadith, he used to visit the Ansar, greet their children, and stroke their heads. An authentic hadith narrated by Al-Nasa’i .
Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to sit with his companions and walk with them. When he walked with his companions, they would walk in front of him while he was behind them, and he would say, “Leave my back to the angels.”
On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “When a man greeted the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and shook his hand, he would not withdraw his hand from his until the man had withdrawn his hand, nor would he turn his face away from his face until the man had turned him away. He was never seen to put his knees forward in front of his companion.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi with the same wording .
On the authority of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came out to us leaning on a stick, so we stood up to him, and he said: Do not stand as the non-Arabs stand, venerating one another. Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah, and its chain of transmission is hasan .

O God, create us with the morals of the beloved chosen Prophet Muhammad, and make us among his righteous and truthful followers who work in his footsteps.
The Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most generous of people, the best in character and morals, the softest of hands, the best of smell, the most perfect of intellect, the best of company and the bravest, the most knowledgeable of God, and the most fearful of God. He would not get angry for himself, nor would he take revenge for himself, but would only get angry if the sacred limits of God Almighty were violated. The character of the Prophet Muhammad was the Qur’an, and the Prophet Muhammad was the most humble of people. He would lower his wing for the weak, and the Prophet Muhammad was never asked for anything and said no. He was the most patient of people, and more shy than a virgin in her chamber. Near and far, strong and weak, were equal in his view of the truth. The Prophet Muhammad never criticized food; if he desired it, he would eat it, otherwise he would leave it. The Prophet Muhammad would eat gifts but not charity, patch clothes, visit the sick, and answer whoever invited him, whether rich or poor, lowly or noble, and he would not belittle a believer. He would speak concise words, and he would not sit or stand except for the remembrance of God, and he would not let anyone walk. Behind him, the Prophet Muhammad used to command and urge kindness, forbid violence, and urge forgiveness, pardon, and good morals.
The Prophet’s morals - may God bless him and grant him peace - with his enemies:
The Prophet’s morals - may God bless him and grant him peace - with his enemies:
Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated in their Sahihs on the authority of Aisha - may God be pleased with her - that she said: O Messenger of God! Has there ever been a day more severe upon you than the day of Uhud? He said: (I have encountered from your people, and the most severe thing I encountered from them was on the day of Aqaba, when I presented myself to Ibn Abd Ya Lail Ibn Abd Kulal, but he did not answer me as I wanted. So I set off, worried on my way, and I did not wake up until I saw the horn of foxes. I raised my head and saw a cloud that shaded me. I looked and saw Gabriel in it. He called me and said: God Almighty has heard what your people said to you and what they responded to you, and He has sent to you the Angel of the Mountains so that you may command him to do whatever you wish with them. He said: So the Angel of the Mountains called me and greeted me, then he said: O Muhammad! God has heard what your people said to you, and I am the Angel of the Mountains, and your Lord has sent me to you so that you may command me to do what you wish. What do you wish? If you wish, I will crush the two mountains on them. The Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said to him: Rather, I hope that God will bring forth from their loins those who will worship God alone, not associating anything with Him.)
Among his morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, was his call to the religion of God:
His call, may God bless him and grant him peace, included all of creation. The Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most prolific of God’s messengers in calling, conveying and striving. Therefore, he was the most harmed and tested of them, from the dawn of his call until he met his Lord, the Almighty and Most High .
The book Zaad Al-Ma'ad mentioned that the call of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was on levels :
The first level: Prophethood. The second: Warning his closest relatives. The third: Warning his people. The fourth: Warning a people to whom no warner had come before him, and they are all Arabs. The fifth: Warning all those who received his call from the jinn and mankind until the end of time. God Almighty said to His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: (Say, "This is my way; I invite to God with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is God; and I am not of those who associate others with God. ").
This is also from his morals, may God bless him and grant him peace, and from the morals of all people of knowledge, people of knowledge and insight, people of knowledge and faith, people of knowledge and piety .
Among these was his compassion for those who made mistakes or went against the truth, and he would treat them well and teach them in the best manner, with the kindest words and the best gestures. Among these was when a young man came to him asking for permission to commit adultery .
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A young man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, give me permission to commit adultery. The people turned to him and rebuked him, saying: Stop, stop. He said to him: (Come closer). So he came close to him. He said: (Would you like it for your mother?) He said: No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom. He said: (Nor do the people like it for their mothers). He said: (Would you like it for your daughter?) He said: No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom. He said: (Nor do all the people like it for their daughters). He said: (Would you like it for your sister?) He said: No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom. He said: (Nor do all the people like it for their sisters). He said: (Would you like it for your aunt?) He said: No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom. He said: (Nor do all people like it for their aunts.) He said: (Would you like it for your maternal aunt?) He said: No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom. He said: (Nor do all people like it for their aunts.) He said: Then he placed his hand on him and said: O Allah, forgive his sin, purify his heart and guard his chastity. After that, the young man did not pay attention to anything. Narrated by Ahmad .
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, followed this approach in his call and gentle manner to all people, even including the unbelievers. One of the reasons for this was that groups of people converted to Islam and entered the religion of God Almighty through good treatment and the best manner. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, embodied in this the words of God Almighty: ((Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.)) [An-Nahl: 12 ].
When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was wronged, he would respond with what is best, embodying and adopting the words of God Almighty: ((... Repel evil with what is best. Better, then he between whom and you there was enmity will become as though he was a devoted friend. And none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one of great fortune. [Fussilat 34-35 ]

And none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one of great fortune. [Fussilat 34-35 ]
Among his morals, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, are good manners:
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I do not shake hands with women. My words to a hundred women are like my words to one woman.”
Aisha said: No, by God, his hand never touched a woman’s hand in the pledge of allegiance, and he did not pledge allegiance to them except by saying: “I have pledged allegiance to you on that.”
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “It would be better for one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle than to touch a woman who is not permissible for him.”
From his generosity, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him, from his generosity, may God bless him and grant him peace, a man came to him asking for the cloak that he was wearing, so he gave it to him, may God bless him and grant him peace .
This is Muhammad, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him! In Western countries they say, “What did Muhammad do to this nation that makes them remember him and pray for him every day?” What did he do to them that they should be called upon to do so? We respond to him with these words about his morals, his elevation above the world, and his humility.
