Reply to a doubt: The Prophet of Islam says: The devil takes a hair from the anus of the one praying!

Some of them mocked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), claiming that Muhammad had said that Satan comes when a Muslim is praying and takes a hair from his anus and stretches it out, so he thinks that he has broken his ablution, so he should not leave until he hears a sound or smells a smell... They laughed a lot and made fun of him a lot... Their evidence for their mockery was what Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad, Baqi Musnad al-Mukathereen, Musnad Abu Saeed al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), No. 11476: Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, on the authority of Ali ibn Zayd, on the authority of... Sa`id ibn al-Musayyab, on the authority of Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “The devil comes to one of you while he is praying and takes a hair from his anus and stretches it out, and he thinks that he has broken his ablution. So he should not leave until he hears a sound or smells a smell.” Response to the doubt first: The hadith that was the reason for their mockery and ridicule, and their attack on the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is not authentic, and we do not recognize it, so let them laugh as much as they want at something that we do not recognize; as if we did not see it or hear it... They mock and bewitch, relying on their delusions, and this increases their ignorance upon their ignorance... Sheikh Shuayb al-Arna'ut weakened the hadith, saying: Its chain of transmission is weak, No. 11932. Publisher: Qurtuba Foundation - Cairo. If it is said: Why is the hadith weak? I say: Because of the weakness of Ali ibn Zayd, who was judged weak by Sheikh Shuayb in another place, and the investigators did the same as follows: 1- Muhammad ibn Uthman told us that he asked Ali about Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, and he said: He is weak according to us. (Questions of Ibn Abi Shaybah 1/75). 2- Abu al-Hasan al-Daraqutni al-Hafiz said in weakening these chains of transmission: Ali ibn Zayd is weak. Ali bin Zaid bin Abdullah bin Zuhair bin Abdullah bin Jadaan Al-Taimi Al-Basri, originally from Hijaz, he is known as Ali bin Zaid bin Jadaan, his father is attributed to his great-grandfather, weak from the fourth generation, died in the year 131 AH and some say before that. (Al-Taqreeb p. 401/ No. 4734). 3- Ali bin Zaid bin Jadaan: One of the scholars of the followers, they differed about him, so a group strengthened his position, such as Al-Jariri, Mansour bin Zadhan, and Hammad bin Salamah, and most of them spoke ill of him. Shu’bah said: He was a narrator and once said: Ali told us before he became confused. Ibn Uyaynah weakened him. Hammad bin Zaid said: He used to change the hadiths. Al-Fallas said: Yahya Al-Qattan used to avoid narrating hadiths from Ali bin Zaid, and among his stories is that he was a Rafidi and used to pretend to be ignorant. Ibn Saad said: He narrated many hadiths, but he is weak and cannot be relied upon. (Al-Mizan 3/127 Al-Tarikh Al-Kabeer 6/257 Al-Tabaqat Al-Kubra 7/18). 4- I heard Muhammad bin Al-Mundhir say : I heard Abbas bin Muhammad say : I heard Yahya bin Ma’in say : Ali bin Zaid bin Jud’an is nothing. (Al-Majruhin, Vol. 2, p. 104). With this, I have completely destroyed the doubt, after clarifying the weakness of the hadith, which makes any interpretation, foundation or detail unnecessary... Second: Their mockery, ridicule and harm resulting from ignorance, lies or deception... to attack the person of the Prophet Muhammad is from the traditions that were applied to the prophets before him, and not only him... He said: ] And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. And sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. [ (Al-Furqan 31)

I will suffice with one example: The people of God’s Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) harmed him; they accused him of being immature and of being physically weak... but God cleared him of what they said... God said about him: “O you who have believed, do not be like those who harmed Moses, but God cleared him of what they said, and he was honorable in the sight of God” (Al-Ahzab 69).

In Sahih Al-Bukhari, No. 3990, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: When the Prophet (peace be upon him) divided the spoils of Hunayn, a man from the Ansar said: “He did not intend by it the face of God.” So I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told him, his face changed and then he said: “May Allah’s mercy be upon Moses, he was harmed more than this and he was patient.”

So praise be to Allah who makes the truth prevail over falsehood and destroys it so that it vanishes, and He gives victory to His prophets and saints over their enemies with proofs and facts.
