Responding to the suspicion of the presence of inappropriate words in the noble prophetic hadiths
. Every second, the enemies of truth try to fight it in every way they can, believing that with this nonsense they find a way to penetrate the religion of God Almighty. As we are accustomed to their flimsy suspicions with which they laugh at the poor followers without research or scrutiny, they know for certain that no one will search behind them and investigate the truth of their words and allegations. They have a role model among their own people.
Today, we see them relying on some hadiths that they say contain inappropriate words, such as:
the saying of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “If you see a man offering condolences in the manner of the pre-Islamic era, bite his father with them and do not use euphemisms,” Hamza’s saying to one of them, “O son of Umm Anmar, you cut off your vaginas,”
without knowing the position, the reason, the rule, or anything else . We see them generalizing the matter and saying, “Look, Islam requires Muslims to curse non-Muslims with obscene insults. What is their fault that they are not Muslims? Everyone is free to choose their faith. Is it written that I am not a Muslim?” I have to endure the insults without any sin I committed except that I am not a Muslim.... They have collections and books on this, and some of them have even raised the issue to the point of it being a waste of human dignity and rights...
The question here is:
Does Islam order the insulting of non-Muslims in general??
Is this the norm for treatment??
The basis of dealing according to the religion of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is kindness and gentleness.
Allah the Almighty said: (And speak to people kindly) [Surat Al-Baqarah - Verse: 83].
Among the established matters is that Islam forbids everything that harms others in word or deed . It forbade mockery and name-calling.
Allah the Almighty said: ( O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people ; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not insult one another by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name that is. (Disobedience after faith, and whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers) [Surat Al-Hujurat - verse: 11]
And he forbade backbiting,
as Allah the Almighty said: (And let not some of you backbite others) [Surat Al-Hujurat - verse: 12]
Rather, he demanded that those who oppose him be debated in the best way, as
Allah the Almighty said: (Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction , and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of (With the rightly guided ones) [Surat An-Nahl - Verse: 125]
The Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - denied that a believer should be obscene or vulgar. Al-Tirmidhi narrated with a good chain of transmission on the authority of our master Abdullah bin Masoud - may God be pleased with him - that the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: “ A believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor obscene, nor vulgar .”In this noble prophetic hadith, the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - denied that a believer should have any faults in his lineage. He slanders others, attacks their lineage, curses a lot, and seeks to expel others from the mercy of Allah - the Most High - which encompasses everything, as He denied him from committing obscenities, and denied him from uttering ugly words, as Al-Tirmidhi also narrated with a good chain of transmission on the authority of our master Anas bin Malik - may Allah be pleased with him - that the Messenger of Allah - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - said: " There is no obscenity in anything except that it disfigures it, and there is no modesty in anything except that it adorns it ." This is because modesty prevents the generous from uttering what is not appropriate for him from obscenities and words that hurt feelings.
If religion is behavior and if the origin of Islam is the call to good treatment according to what is mentioned in the noble verses and hadiths, then we are not surprised when the enemies of reason and logic claim that Islam calls for insulting non-Muslims in general, because the origin that Islam calls for has become clear to us.
And in order for the truth to become clear to every fair-minded person, we pose the following question:
What is the situation with the aggressors and oppressors?
What is required of a Muslim when he sees a person’s injustice
and transgression against Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the believers in their lives, their honor, and their religion?
Should he look at him and say to himself, “May Allah forgive you,”
and leave him to transgress and harm the believers!!!
Allah the Almighty said: (The sacred month is for the sacred month, and for the sacred things there is legal retribution. So whoever transgresses against you, transgress against him in proportion to his transgression against you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with the righteous. ) [Surat Al-Baqarah - Verse: 194]
Tolerance, compassion, mercy and gentleness are required and are the principle urged by the Shariah.
Allah the Almighty said: (So by mercy from Allah, you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you.) [Surat Al-Imran] - Verse: 159]
But when they are not in their place, this is from weakness and lack of wisdom, and the believer is not weak in the face of insults and harm from others, even if necessities permit prohibitions, and even if the legal principle says to choose the lesser of two evils, then confronting this oppressor and letting him hear what he hates is what will silence his foul tongue and protect the believers from his evils. This remains a message to everyone who dares to attack the believers, because he knows that they will respond to this attack, not meet it with weakness and turn the other cheek so that they are not exposed to every oppressor who dares to attack and oppress, and there is no protection for the believers from the spiteful tongues who want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths .
It is known that it is not permissible to state the name of the private parts except if there is a necessity or if the interest requires it, such as the prescribed punishments, so insinuations, hints, or insinuations are of no use in the prescribed punishments - such as the prescribed punishment for adultery, because it may lead to the death of a person, so careful investigation is necessary to prove the fact of adultery in fact, otherwise a person’s life will be lost in vain, so this is from the perspective of preserving life -, and when Fighting enemies to annoy them . These hadiths , which the enemies of truth try to use as a weapon against the religion of God Almighty,
are used against the arrogant and unjust. And those who transgress against the believers and fight them, in the first hadith the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) orders this treatment for those who seek condolences with the condolences of the Age of Ignorance. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned in Zaad al-Ma'ad: And mentioning them by the father here is the best reminder for this arrogant person with the claim of the Age of Ignorance about the organ from which it emerged, which is his father's organ, so he should not overstep his bounds.
End quote. So whoever is biased towards the people of his town, or his sect, or his method, or his relatives, and with this bias he wants to divide the community of Islam and be arrogant towards others by mentioning his family and his household, then remind such an arrogant person of his own self and how it emerged from his father's organ, for in this reminder there is the most powerful reprimand. As for the second hadith in which he mentioned the words of Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him), he was in a fight and a duel with this aggressor, so is this a place where it is acceptable to use kindness in speech!!
If " every situation has its own saying ", then do you blame us for anything except putting things in their proper place!! Glory be to God, it is nothing but stubbornness and arrogance itself...
Isn’t good speech, although it is the basis for dealing with the oppressor in Islamic law, not valid ??
Allah the Almighty said: {Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah Hearing and Knowing} [Surat: An-Nisa - Verse: 148].
As we see, the principle is not to speak evil aloud, but there is an exception for the wronged person to protect him from the oppressor and to silence him and stop his oppression of himself and those around him. Speaking with kindness and advice will not work with him or his likes. Rather, if you say to him, “Fear Allah,” he will not listen to you and will become more stubborn and arrogant, so gentle speech will not work with him.
Allah the Almighty said: {And when it is said to him, “Fear Allah,” pride in sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hell, and wretched is the resting place} [Surat: Al-Baqarah] - Verse: 206]
And logic says that when leniency fails, there is severity and the believer may be forced to do this, and it is not the origin of the principle of “But whoever is forced, neither desiring nor transgressing,” because this is the way that protects the believers from the evil of the unjust way. This treatment, as we have explained, is not for non-Muslims in general at all, but only for those who have been wronged
. “Allah the Almighty said: (There shall be no aggression except against the wrongdoers)” [Surat Al-Baqarah - Verse: 193].
What we see now is criticism of Islam because it treats the wrongdoer as he deserves,
and we do not know whether Islam treats the wrongdoers and the righteous equally so that it is a religion of justice?!
Allah the Almighty said: (Say: Not equal are the evil and the good, even though the abundance of the evil might impress you. So fear Allah, you of understanding, that you may succeed.) [Surat Al-Ma'idah - Verse: 100]
What is required now from Islam is to treat the evil and the good equally
and to demand that believers accept harm and attacks on the soul, honor and religion with an open heart.
This is the same as equality and there will never be equality in treatment between the good person and the evil person.
Allah the Almighty said: (And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor those who believe and do righteous deeds nor the evildoer. Little is what Allah does for them.) You remember . [Surat Ghafir - Verse: 58]
If people are divided into several groups, Islam taught us how to deal with each group. We deal with the good people with kindness and gentleness, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims. However, we tell the oppressor who harms others what he hates. If he stops, we stop. If he returns, we return to the same until he stops his oppression and harm.
Let us look at some of the words of the Bible

(And of course it is known what the word “shame on your mother” and the word “son of the crooked” mean to the lowly street people who are not well-mannered)

At the head of every way you have built your high place, and have defiled your beauty; you have spread your feet to every passerby, and have multiplied your harlotry .
(And of course it is known what the word “spread your legs” means to every passerby, according to the filthy Arabs with foul language)
