The Book of Isaiah, Chapter 9
Prophet Muhammad, the Prince of Peace ... and the Seal of Prophethood on his shoulder
. Do you remember Bahira the monk when he looked at the Seal of Prophethood on the shoulder of the Prophet? And his famous saying to Abu Talib...
Do you remember the last sign that Salman wanted to use to confirm the truthfulness of the Messenger?
Our goal in this topic is for you to know what the Seal of Prophethood is (its description, shape, and that it is between the shoulders of the Messenger of Allah)
and how this Seal of Prophethood on the back of the Messenger was the reason for Salman the Persian's conversion to Islam.
Salman knew this seal through the honest monks who knew the Prophet of the End Times and his descriptions through the Torah and the Bible.
In this topic, you will also read this guide
. First: The description of the Seal of Prophethood:
The description of the Seal of Prophethood was mentioned in the authentic Sunnah that it was prominent, the size of a pigeon's egg, between the shoulders of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
Around it were moles [plural of mole: a black dot called a mole], and on it were hairs gathered together.
Al-Qurtubi said:
The authentic hadiths agree that the Seal of Prophethood was something prominent on his left shoulder, the size of a pigeon’s egg. Muslim (2344) narrated on the authority
of Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
“ I saw the Seal on his shoulder like a pigeon’s egg, resembling his body .” That is, its color resembled the color of the rest of his limbs.
Muslim also narrated (2346) on the authority of Abdullah ibn Sarjis who said:
I saw the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and ate with him. Bread and meat, or he said, tharid...
He said: Then I went behind him and looked at the Seal of Prophethood
between his shoulders, at the top of his left shoulder, with spots on it like warts.
(The top of his shoulder) is the top of the shoulder, and it was said: It is the thin bone at the top of its edge.
(Jum’an) means: in the form of gathering the palm, i.e. after gathering the fingers and joining them,
but it is smaller than it in size of a pigeon’s egg.
(Al-Khilan) is the plural of (Khal), which is a mole on the body.
Ibn Rajab, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
“And the Seal of Prophethood: from the signs of his prophethood by which the People of the Book knew him,
and they asked about it, and sought to know about it.
The reason for that:
the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 9
Isaiah 6:9
How did the Messenger of God deserve this title, the Prince of Peace ? He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him ,
said:
By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something that, if you do it, you will love one another?
Spread peace among yourselves.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days. They meet, one turns away and the other turns away.
The best of them is the one who initiates the greeting
. The Messenger of Allah is not the only one who calls for peace. His religion also calls for peace by Allah’s command as long as others want peace.
Allah the Almighty says: (And if they incline to peace , then incline to it and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.) [Al-Anfal: 61] .
Look at the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
Look at the Messenger’s pardon of the Quraysh when Mecca was conquered
and what he did with the tribe that tortured him for twenty years
in enmity and fighting with him. ( Go, for you are free. ) The
Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe . The greeting at the end of every prayer ( Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy) . A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) Which Islam is best? He said: Feeding people and greeting those you know and those you do not know . Narrated by At-Tirmidhi on the authority: It was said: O Messenger of Allah, when two men meet, which of them should initiate the greeting? He said: The one who is more deserving of it. By Allah, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When one of you meets his brother , let him greet him, and if a tree, wall or stone comes between them and then he meets him, let him greet him . Narrated by Abu Dawud. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: O my son, when you enter upon your family , greet them with peace , so that it will be a blessing upon you and upon the people of your household. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi on the authority of Anas : He passed by some children and greeted them with peace , and he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do that. Agreed upon. Allah the Almighty says: {So when you enter houses, greet yourselves with peace} [An-Nur: 61] meaning: Let some of you greet one another. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “When one of you reaches a gathering, let him greet the people. When he wants to stand up, let him greet the people. The first is not more deserving than the last.” Narrated by Abu Dawud. Allah the Almighty said: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” (Al-Mumtahanah 8), “And fight in the way of Allah those who…” They fight you, but do not transgress.
"(Al-Baqarah 190)
And the effects of that are many and the bottom line is:
that peace is the basis of the relationship between Muslims and others,
and that jihad (war) was legislated in order to preserve peace
from the aggression of the oppressors against the weak,
while Jesus, peace be upon him, said about himself:
in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 10:
"Do not think that I have come to send peace on earth;
I have not come to send peace, but a sword" (Matthew 10:34) .
So we now know / who is the Prince of Peace
and the evidence of Muhammad's prophecy in the Book of Isaiah
from the authority on his shoulder which is the seal of prophecy
and that God Almighty calls him by the name of the Prince of Peace.
Then the Holy Book forbids the Messiah to be a king over the children of Israel, as
God forbade the kingship to the descendants of Jehoiakim "Eliakim" one of the ancestors of Jesus, son of Mary, so God said about him:
"Thus says the Lord about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He shall have no one to sit on the throne of David... And I will punish him and his descendants and his servants for their iniquity" Jeremiah 36:30-31.
And the Messiah Son of Mary, as you say, is from the descendants of this wicked king.
Jehoiakim is one of the ancestors
of Christ

To us a child is born, to us a son is given
, and authority is upon his shoulder,
and wonderful and strange things,
, and authority is upon his shoulder,
and wonderful and strange things,
Almighty God, the eternal Father, he called his name the Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 6:9
For a son is born to us: All Christian interpretations say
that the verb here indicates that it will happen in the future compared to the moment this verse was written.
This means that he has not yet been born, but he will be born
and we will be given a son: In the Gospel of Luke (20/36), Jesus said about those who believe in him
(They are like angels; they do not die, and they are sons of God because they are sons of the resurrection).
That is, God will give a righteous believing person later .
And in the Gospel of John (20/17) (I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God).
Christians do not say that the angels, the children of Israel, and the apostles are truly sons of God,
nor do they say that God is truly their father. Rather, they interpret this in a metaphorical sense,
that is, a father to them in grace, kindness, preservation, and care,
and they are his sons in worship, need, and poverty. Thus,
their evidence for Jesus’ sonship to God is invalidated by his being described in the Gospel as the son of God .
And the leadership will be on his shoulder: it is the seal of prophecy on his left shoulder
and his name will be called: will be called, meaning he will be called
wonderful: and of course the name Jesus is not wonderful at that time, as there is a prophet Joshua bin Nun and others
who are advisors: so the Hebrew word is יוֹעֵץ֙, meaning an advisor whom people
