Answering a doubt: A prophet says: The devil urinates ! They asked in astonishment and mockery, saying: The Prophet of Islam said: The devil urinates in the ear of the Muslim who does not pray Fajr... So does the devil really urinate , O Muslim....?! They related this to what was mentioned in the two Sahihs: 1- Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of (Friday), Chapter (If he sleeps and does not pray, the devil urinates in his ear), No. 1076, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Mas`ud, who said: A man was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it was said: He kept sleeping until morning and did not get up to pray. He said: “The devil urinated in his ear.” 2- Sahih Muslim, Book of (Prayer of Travelers and Shortening It), Chapter (What was narrated about the one who slept all night until morning), No. 1293, on the authority of Abdullah, who said: A man was mentioned before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who slept all night until morning. He said: “That is a man in whose ears the devil urinated,” or he said, “in whose ear.” The response to the doubt first: The one who is surprised is me, not the objectors. The reason for the astonishment is their ignorance of the language, state and speech of the Arabs.... So they made doubtful what is not doubtful.... In any case, I will quote a little of what was mentioned in the explanation of the hadith: 1- Ibn Hajar - may God have mercy on him - said in Al-Fath: It was said: It is a metaphor for the one who is heedless of getting up due to heavy sleep, like someone who has urine in his ear, making his ear heavy and spoiling his senses. The Arabs use urine as a metaphor for corruption. 2- Al -Nawawi - may God have mercy on him - said in his explanation: It was said: Its meaning is that he belittled him, looked down on him, and acted arrogantly towards him. It is said of someone who belittles and deceives a person: he urinated in his ear. The origin of that is in an animal that does that to a lion to humiliate it. Al-Harbi said: Its meaning is that he prevailed over him and mocked him. I said: What is clear from what came before is that the gist of the hadith is known to the Arabs, and there is no problem with it at all. The hadith is taken metaphorically and not literally, and this is what I see as appropriate... Secondly: There is a question that presents itself - assuming that the hadith is taken literally for the sake of argument -: What prevents the devil from urinating literally?! And I ask in another formulation: Is there a book from Allah on the face of the earth that says that the devil does not urinate ?! The answer is: No; so this is a matter of the unseen in which the proven is presented... and therefore it should not be a subject of doubt, especially if we know that the devil has a private life whose full nature we do not know; he eats, drinks, has sex, and reproduces... so what prevents him from urinating literally?! And his urine is not like the urine of a human or an animal... so that an ignorant fool does not say: The one who wakes up after the dawn prayer in the morning does not find urine in his ear...?! The above was on the assumption that the one who said the apparent meaning of the hadith is correct for the sake of argument... and what I see is that it is taken as a metaphor that the Arabs have known for a long time...






















Third: The objectors are surprised that a devil urinates, but they are not surprised that the Lord of the heavens and the earth urinates, and even defecates... This God incarnated in the human Jesus - according to their belief!
And a question remains for the surprised and sarcastic objectors: Does a God who urinates deserve to be worshipped and prayed to?
