Who told Muhammad about the fire coming out of the bottom of Aden?printSend to a friend

The hadith about the fire that will come out of Aden and gather the people is authentic. In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Hudhayfah ibn Asid al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at us while we were talking and said: What are you talking about? They said: We are talking about the Hour. He said: It will not come until you see ten signs before it. Then he mentioned the smoke, the Antichrist, the Beast, the rising of the sun from the West, the descent of Jesus, son of Mary (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Gog and Magog, and three landslides: one in the East, one in the West, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. The last of these will be a fire that will come out of Yemen and drive the people to their place of gathering.

In a narration by Muslim: A fire will emerge from the bottom of Aden and displace people.

And according to Abu Dawood: The last of that is a fire that will emerge from Yemen from the bottom of Aden, driving people to the place of assembly.

The city of Aden is mostly located on the ocean. It was formed from a very large volcano that erupted from the side of the sea and continued for a long time. Then, after it became dormant and cooled, it developed a concave crater like all volcanoes, but it is very, very large and later became the historical city of Aden.... What we mentioned can be clearly shown in a satellite image.

No one knew in the past that the city of Aden was on top of a volcano until the British came and colonized Aden. With the beginning of the age of aviation and the observation of cities from high altitudes, the city of Aden appeared as a city with a concave surface and a great crater of a great, massive, dormant volcano, as the Messenger of God said in the previous hadith. The British called it the city of the crater of the volcano (Kraytar), and this was the name that was commonly used among them, not the name Aden.

The British Royal Volcanological Expedition in 1964 studied the dormant Aden volcano, led by Professor I.G. Gass.

Who began his scientific paper by saying (that the current volcanoes are nothing but fireworks in front of the Aden volcano) through the structural composition of those volcanoes and the Aden volcano, and we find in the Readers Digest magazine in 1979 a scientific article saying that the Krakatau volcano in Indonesia (Krakatau volcano) which erupted in 1883 AD, which scientists considered the strongest volcano in recorded human memory, and caused the death of thirty-six thousand people, and people heard the explosion from a distance of five thousand kilometers, and the ash and volcanic smoke blocked sunlight for a week from the Earth, and the volcano led to the fragmentation and disappearance of most of the island from which it emerged, and scientists estimated the power of this volcano at one hundred hydrogen bombs. The author concludes that this huge volcano is considered like fireworks compared to the Aden volcano.

Engineer Marouf Aqaba says in his research (Aden, the historical and civilizational dimension): The Aden volcano is considered one of the six volcanic centers that lie on a single volcanic line extending from Bab al-Mandab at the southern entrance to the Red Sea to the city of Aden. Recently, a few days ago, one of these six volcanic centers became active in Jabal al-Tayr off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea. Finally, we review a summary of the scientific, geographical, historical, and metaphysical miracle of the hadith of the Messenger of God about the city of Aden:

1- The Messenger of God said that Aden is a concave city, so he said (the bottom of Aden). This was only made clear by remote photography by aircraft or satellites.

2- The Messenger of God said that Aden is located on an extinct volcano, but its extension actually reaches the core of the Earth, which is known to be a very large mass of molten iron and nickel. The lava came out of this volcano in a great eruption in the waters near the coast in the surrounding sea, after which this volcano formed a huge mountain above which was a great crater that was the city of Aden. The fire will come out again from the same place, and this is a common occurrence in most volcanoes in the world, and the final eruption will be in a more severe and powerful form in which people will be driven to the place of resurrection in the land of the Levant. The existence of the seas does not prevent the fire from spreading throughout the Earth, for the seas will explode with fire on the Day of Resurrection, as in one of the scholars’ interpretations of the words of God Almighty (And when the seas are set ablaze) At-Takwir: 6.

As is known, large volcanoes are accompanied by earthquakes due to the breaking of the layers of the Earth's crust as a result of the lava flowing from the bottom of the Earth to the upper layers, which causes the layers of the Earth's crust to slide, causing what is called an earthquake before the lava comes out to the surface of the Earth. Then after the earthquake occurs, the volcanic lava has thrown its weights of molten iron above the surface of the Earth. Therefore, you find the saying of God Almighty ( When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake and the earth discharges its burdens), and this means that the end of the events of the end of time and the beginning of the Day of Resurrection will be a fire from volcanoes on land and sea, and the most powerful of all is the fire of the volcano of Aden, which will push people to the gathering and the reckoning, as mentioned in the Noble Surah and the Noble Prophetic Hadith.

There is a close relationship between earthquakes and volcanoes, as they both work by the same mechanism. Today, scientists consider some earthquakes an indication of the imminent occurrence of a volcano in which the earth spews large amounts of molten lava. Therefore, they say:

Such earthquakes can be an early warning of volcanic eruptions.

That is, these earthquakes are an early warning of volcanic eruptions.

From here we realize that there is a relationship between the earthquake and the ignited rocks that the earth produces in the form of volcanoes. Therefore, the divine statement linked these two processes together, emphasizing the occurrence of the earthquake first, then the earth producing its burdens (i.e. the ignited rocks, which are of course heavy and heavier than the rocks on the surface of the earth because they are mostly iron and nickel). It is known that the center of gravity of the earth is a huge mass, the size of which may reach a quarter of the globe. God Almighty says: (When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake * And the earth discharges its burdens) [Al-Zalzalah: 1-2].

Here we must pause for a moment of reflection: Who knew at the time of the revelation of the Qur’an that there was a relationship between earthquakes and the molten lava that the earth spews out after an earthquake? Scientists did not realize this fact until they descended into the depths of the oceans and witnessed the distortions in the Earth’s plates and the collapses that cause strong earthquakes and the emergence of huge amounts of burning rocks!

The Qur’an also confirmed this fact in a noble text that speaks about the Day of Resurrection. God Almighty says: “And when the earth is extended and casts out what is within it and becomes empty.” [Al-Inshiqaq: 3-4]

In these two verses there is a clear indication of the relationship between earthquakes and the expansion of the Earth, or in other words, the expansion and movement of the Earth’s plates, and the ejection of the lava inside them as a result of this expansion.

Therefore, the Messenger of God mentioned several eclipses with the hadith of the Aden volcano, and as is known, eclipses are also related to earthquakes, and the scientific geological order of events is identical to the order of the hadith of the Messenger of God and the verses that we mentioned as follows: Earthquakes, then eclipses, then volcanoes, the strongest and first of which is the Aden volcano, and since most volcanoes are under the seas, then it will be (And when the seas are set on fire) At-Takwir: 6.

We mention the hadith of Sahih Muslim once, my brother, on the authority of Hudhayfah ibn Asid al-Ghifari, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, looked at us while we were talking and said: What are you talking about? They said: We are talking about the Hour. He said: It will not come until you see ten signs before it, so he mentioned the smoke, the Antichrist, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus, son of Mary, may God bless him and grant him peace, Gog and Magog, and three landslides: one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and the last of that is a fire that will emerge from Yemen and drive people to their place of assembly.
